It's me Nessa.
In today's video, I decided to be vulnerable and share my story with postpartum hair loss as well as give you guys all the details on how I overcame it. I am also sharing all of my most personal pictures with you. LOL don't judge me!!
I hope that this video could encourage anyone out there who is going through the same journey.

Ive had matting and when washing it at fist it wasnt much then after time just clumps and i wash regularly. I got my first braids postpartum yesterday.
This! It would just clump up and tangle in the shower. I hated wash days 😭
I am going through this now never have i ever been edgeless and bald I’m just ready to shave it all off

I heard that continuing to take ur prenatal vitamins after giving birth helps reduce the shedding. I'll try that🤷🏾♀️
Nope not true. I did it with Daelle and it did not help.

I lost my hair like this after all 4 of my pregnancies, my youngest is 5 and my hair still is growing slow still short and very short at the nape. I do have edges but they are thin. The struggle is real.

I went through this with all three of my kids. It was a nightmare. My right temple area still hasn’t recovered to this day. My hair still comes out in that area.
I believe it😔 woww that must be tough El!! I guess the only thing to do in the meantime is to style it in ways where it can be hidden. I feel you though❤❤

So I know you had a breast reduction a few years ago and said you may have gone down to a size C in one of your vids. You’ve carried a beautiful baby and I know breast growth comes with that. That is one thing I’m worried about as I look into getting a breast reduction since I would like to have kids in the future and know my boobs will probably get bigger. If you don’t mind me asking, do you know what size you are now/how much bigger your breast got following your pregnancy ? Did you ever go back down in size after the pregnancy? Or Are you now the size you were originally prior to your breast reduction?
Hey Alexis! I apologize for the very late response, but I hope this answer is still helpful or relevant for you right now.
So my breast did get bigger while I was pregnant, however, It didn't grow anywhere near the size I was prior to my surgery. It got swollen, and kept changing form due to the fact that I was producing milk. Today, now that my daughter is 19 months old, I'm currently wearing a 34D cup. Sometimes it fits too loose, and other times when I'm about to get my period, it fits perfectly. I think the looseness comes from the fact that breast feeding stole the volume I once had. My breast no longer sits up, and my lift from he surgery is gone. At the end of the day, all I can say is I cant even begin to imagine what kind of pain and discomfort I would've been in had I waited to have kids first before my surgery. I probably would've dealt with A LOT more pain with my back and neck being pregnant and breast feeding while carrying a 34DDD(not to mention, that bra size was still too small for me). 😂😂😂😂 Osaaaaaa. Motherhood is the most ghetto hood I've ever been a part of, but sis ITS THE BEST. Trust me it's worth loosing your edges for🥰😂

I just feel like I'd be looking at my child jealous cause she stole my edges....I wouldn't want to start a bad relationship with him/her like that lol!
also, did you take any vitamins meant for post partum that sped up getting your edges back???
@@osayasmalive5123 😂😂😂 you kill me!! And I had already been taking my prenatal vitamins as soon as I became pregnant, and then a little bit after giving birth. But at that point a quick cold turkey cause my girll, do you know how hard it is to remember after giving birth😫
