Tiff, I just wanted to come on here and say thank you! Honestly, I have learned so much about being a mom & homemaker from you. 4 years ago we adopted two beautiful, amazing children from the foster care system. Prior to our adoption, we had no children. When they came to us- they were 3 and 11. So, after the adoption was finalized I was so overwhelmed with mom guilt, thinking I wasn’t good enough. Watching your videos I have become a more confident mother & house wife. Now I can say, I slay mom life, okay? 💁‍♀️ So even though you don’t know- you’ve impacted my family in such a positive way & I can’t say thank you enough! You are amazing!

I cook with cast iron on a glass top stove and haven't had an issue, I just don't drag the skillets across the stovetop which should be the policy for all cookware.

Hello from Norway. I'm gluten- free myself and absolutely love channels that I feel are for me. I've been watching both your channel and I can only say one thing. You and Chris are exsemplary parents. Your kids are so lucky. Sending you lots of hugs.

Happy Tuesday! You can use a cast iron on a glass top. My grandmother as always cook in hers on her glass top. She just has always told me to not slide it around on the glass because that will leave bad scratches.

Try the Pampered Chef garlic press.. it cleans easily (you bend it backwards to push out any residual garlic....) it doesn’t smell of garlic after washing. YEAH!! My friend lets hers air dry... then into a snack sized baggie.... junk doesn’t get into the fine holes! You’ll like!!

Cast iron pans are fine on glass top, but only if on low. It still gets hot and cooks well, it's just a quick heating that can cause cracking. I use mine on my glass top almost every day for bacon and eggs and tons of other things too

Ella and my son are the same age. He loves to cook too. I got him nylon child safe knives for Christmas and he says they are “fantastic and make happy”. It keeps him nice and occupied too. :). Obviously he is always supervised. :)
Always use my CI on glass top. Just preheat first. Have done it for 9 years without issues.

I'm currently working on an elimination diet. and I do really like gluten-free foods I have found that when I eat them I'm less bloated and not as tired I also seem to lose weight while not eating gluten

Trader Joe’s has a good wild caught frozen shrimp - it’s fully cooked and no tails. It doesn’t have a fishier taste than regular shrimp in my opinion- just an option! I just run them under cold water to thaw and use them in my recipes. Thanks for the recipe inspiration!

Me before kids: My kids will eat what I make because I am not a short order cook.
Me two kids later: one order of mac and cheese in a green bowl and one peanut butter sandwich cut into a circle coming right up.
