Actually, it is direk mark proposal. He even shell out his personal money for a demo tape to the top officials of the network Kasi ultimate dream Niya na Yan. He wanted as a movie first but one of executive producers told na Gawin na Lang as series since Yung market sa movie is Hindi pa sure. Kaya umabot Yan Ng seven years because they need the approval of telesuccess (production na nagdala Ng v5 sa Pinas) and of course from the original creators Ng TOEI from story conference, script making, looking for studios to rent, contract with RIOT and in house animators of the networks. All in all alone lang ha sa CGI they employed 100plus animators. They even hired each lead characters acting coach, stunt coach, and stuntmen. Tapos si sir Noel and in charge sa costumes Ng lahat.
It was supposed to air 2022 however, dahil nga sa pandemic and gusto Ng TOEI na maipalabas din sa Japan ito Ng sabay aside sa post production (Yup 2022 nila natapos and lahat Ng shoot), so a six month more for the post production. Eto Yung reason bakit 2nd quarter pa ipapalabas
This took 7 years to make coincidence na channel 7 din gumawa Neto…supervised and approved sya by toei co. so lahat ng detalye dumadaan sa kanila bago ilabas at planchado ang episode, and according kay direk mark toei did not want them to change the costume design and color dahil yan daw ang trademark nila especially the design of voltes v. 80 episodes in total at meron dinagdag pero they did not stray from the original story
Really appreciate the facts here @dolly_l!👍🏼 I'm sure they had to stick to the trademarks-- and improvements mean adding more details where it needed, instead of changing them. I'm excited to see the whole thing!

Ah buti namention niyo yan sir, meron din sa 11:32 sa left shoulder, tama ka mukhang mocap si voltes v at yung ilang ibang mecha sa mga A-rolls. Sa mga shots ni Dokugaga mukha syang hand animated kaya tingin ko yung mga inserts na iba, hand animated. Iba talaga ang level nila ngayon, gotta give credit where it's due.
hindi ako pinanganak noong 1970 kaya hindi ko naabutan yung voltes v sa gma........ ang naabutan kong voltes v sa abscbn mga 3 years old or 4 wala pa akong mga five nun sa pagkakatanda ko....panahon ng si cory aquino presidente pagkatapos taon taon na siya pinapalabas sa ibat ibang channel hanggang sa pagtungtong ko ng third year high school bumalik na siya sa gma na tagalog na dubbing binata na ako kaya hindi na ganun kalakas yung impact ng voltes v nung nasa gma na kase naglabasan na mga anime noong 90s ngayon 40 yrs old na ako
Salamat sa comment sir! Tsaka ko rin napanood yung Voltes V sa GMA nung mga around 2000, 13 years matapos syang ma-ban along with Daimos and Mazinger Z (all classics) kaya relative sa mga ibang anime na naglalabasan noong 2000, medyo old-school yung art-style nya.
well magaling naman talaga gma.. if story/plot wise lang superior talaga GMA kaya lang they always lose and look cheap, one because they don't have a lot of funds, two I don't think they have that much investors for bigger projects. kahit may maisip man sila maganda behind pa rin sila sa kalaban nila, three they were always caught up sa station wars. Since early 2000 nauso puro romance, romantic comedies, comedies and now mga agawan ng asawa o jowa... my mga fantasy themed man pero hindi ganun ka invested sa mga effects kaya nag mumukhang low quality lalo na camera angles hindi rin nag babago. if maghahanap ka ng magandang movies mas maganda yung hindi mainstream. for me the best last great movies ay yung nung 90's magaganda pa mga action and comedy movies nung 90's pati yung kwento. If Encantadia was made like this quality it will be hit even internationally.

Sa voltes v anime po kasi meron tlgang number yung conveyor nila. Ginaya lang po nila yung sa original. Nagtataka ako baket nasurprise po kayo dun.
Meron pong number sa anime oo, pero in my opinion mas maganda sa anime kasi number cutouts sya na backlit, kumbaga pag ginawa yun sa adaption ngayon, masastig sana. Kaso ginawa nila ngayon parang screen/monitor lng na may nakadisplay na number, mejo lazy considering ang budget nya ay around 1b php. Appreciate the comment po :D
