Barcode and Acting for Climate: Branché (work in progress)

Branché is a new acrobatic collaboration in development between Barcode Circus Company and Acting for Climate. It will be a theatrical circus show that aims to address the climate crisis and rethink our relationship as circus artists with the environment. It is being made with minimal impact and our vision is that it will tour without the use of planes, favoring local options and collaborations with similar local initiatives, or using alternate casts to be able to play the shows in other countries.
This teaser is from the first two-week creation period, in which we focused exclusively on bodies with no props (which would mean no cargo to transport). We explored themes of community, our relationship with nature and each other and mutual support. We plan to hold more workshops to explore further ideas as soon as possible.
