Okay, explaining the RNG for 1st wave since a lot are misled by what I wrote in the video.
For Aventurine's 1st ULT, he needs to hit 5 or 6 blind bets. If he only got 5, he needs to get hit directly by the Shapeshifter. If he got 6, any ally can get hit. This is important because at that moment, the Trotter is already dead meaning, all the FUA will drop on both elites. Next RNG check depends on how much blind bets Aventurine has after the Trampler attacks. This can range from 1-2. Obviously, if he has 1, then he needs to get at least 6 blind bets from his next ULT. If he has 2, then he needs to get at least 5 blind bets from his next ULT.
For the 2nd wave, there's no RNG, the swords are just way too annoying and would inevitably eat up Aventurine's FUAs. Regardless, Aventurine would still be able to kill Yanqing, I just particularly like this run because it ended with Aventurine's ULT but if you looked closely at the end, Sparkle still had one more turn where she can pull up Aventurine for one last basic attack or Yanqing might've died from attacking the team which will trigger Aventurine's talent.
The RNG I mentioned does not imply Aventurine is weak by default. He really do quite some damage for a Preservation character.
Forget RNG, you should also mention that 58% CRIT Rate 💀

This is impressive tbh. Yangqing becoming everybody's punching bag to test out new DPS is just like Patriot in AK.
The only Imaginary weak MOC12 at the moment so had to beat him up.
The difference is patriot has some of the highest stats in ak still, even after several years, while Yanqing is numerically the weakest possible boss in MoC(since he only has 1 phase, low hp, and is alone for the second wave).
I knew that there would be hypercarry Aventurine builds, but I didn’t know that he would be good in this role 🤣

the sad thing about aventurine is that if u want him to do good dmg u need his LC, his dmg without his LC falls of a cliff, but i'm still going to get him just for the sustain alone
His signature LC or S5 Concert for Two or high rank MOV. But yea, without any of those, better give up on his damage potential.
The free options are there too. Only thing that wouldn't make sense is use a fully defensive LC and say his damage falls off like the other options from before 2.0 lol

Btw, it seems your Discord invite link might have expired as it didn't work when I had tried to join to ask a question: I tried replicationg your pseudo 200 spd Sparkle/Tingyjn setup and my Sparkle has 166 while Tingyun has 165. But thanks to her higher base speed, hackerspace allows TY to go first. In which case, am I fine to just leave their speeds as-is?
Invite link was unchanged so not sure what's the issue. Tingyun usually ULTs first anyways so its fine. 173 SPD is a good target for Tingyun though so she has the flexibility to do Skill-Basic-Skill rotation as well.

I'll think about it, I usually never revisit any old guides to update them. I might try doing the same thing as I did with Himeko where I gave an updated mini-guide through a few slideshow.
How worth is his LC? I'm thinking of getting it I'm pretty good with character coverage now

Need a floor with 2 bosses with Ice weakness at least then maybe I will use her again. Nothing so far like that though.

Is pela actually better than ruan mei in this team? I feel like ruan Mei’s damage bonus and res ignore would do more damage(pela with resolution shreds 60% def, with no other def shred that’s 2/1.4 = 1.43* damage, ruan mei ult is already 25%, aventurine’s damage bonus is around 150% with tingyun and sparkle, meaning ruan Mei’s 66% damage bonus is 316/250 = 1.264* damage. 1.25*1.26 is about a 57% damage increase + a bit more from whatever lc you use). With ruan Mei’s ult and aventurine’s 2 debuffs, you have all 3 debuffs for the pioneer set as well.
It's just the first day, I'll do more tests later.

Does his damage scale on attack or defense? Aside from ER I wasn't sure if Tingyun is useful here.
All scales on DEF. The ATK boost is still a bit useful for the Benediction procs.
Tingyun is always useful, her energy generation is too strong. She uses 2 ults in the second wave, meaning she gives enough energy for an entire aventurine ult, which also gives him a followup. She also gives damage bonus from her ult, and her benediction, while it doesn’t scale on def, still scales on aventurine’s inflated crit stats(from relics, trace, lc) and procs about twice every turn due to aventurine’s followups. She also uses ddd for whole team advance. Pela is the more replaceable one for this team, she only provides around 60% def shred.
i wonder why you're skilling adventurine with tingyun since the atk buff doesnt actually do anything for the def scaling gambler unless you're doing it for the spd and dmg multiplier?
It still gives him Benediction procs which goes both way for Aventurine and Tingyun. The ATK increase powers up Benediction procs a bit.

Aven won't be able to match Pela's debuffs even at E2S1. The sustain is definitely nice though.
can you also do Jing Liu 0 cycle with the current Aventurine MOC. I've seen some do it without Bronya's AV but I sure wanna see how would you do it
I've seen the stats used to do Jingliu clears but would you believe me that I can't achieve the required stats even with rainbow gear setup? The requirements is that crazy high. I'm currently trying to figure out other strats that would actually not require god roll gears.
@@LisaraScarletis this with 6 turns with sparkle+bronya? If you do that I really don’t think there’s much more you can do in terms of boosting jingliu’s damage, other than maybe getting an extra ult from beating the dice.

why did you choose pela instead of ruan mei?
Her DEF shred is always up, there's a small downtime on Ruan Mei's ULT for 2nd wave. Also, I don't really want to break Yanqing so he could keep attacking my team.

Probably, as long as the enemies are weak to Imaginary and Fire.

The 2nd half of this MOC is Sam. Sushang and Yanqing aren't particularly good against the whole stage.

What's the difference between 0 cycle and true 0 cycle? Genuinely asking
0-cycle is clearing one half with within the 1st cycle of 150 AV.
True 0-cycles applies the rule to both halves of MoC 12
True 0-Cycles refers to clears that actually got 0-cycle clears on both halves in the same run. It's more challenging to do because you have to spread out your supports properly which further requires some min-maxing on your strategy.

If this was an attempt to pacify the low retention viewers then it was very boring for the ones who actually cared for it. If the explanation was dumped in a comment because you were too tired to bother edit the video then it's understandable. That wasn't the intention. A lot of the builds I used here are my classic builds, the same Messenger+DDD Tingyun, Eagle+Vonwacq Pela and Pseudo 200 SPD Sparkle. Other than that, there isn't really any particular tech to learn aside from getting the right RNGs for Aventurine's ULT.

The one time Yanqing performed a blast attack, it was aimed at Sparkle so it didn't really made any difference for this run. The RNG of his ULT stacks is much more important but you are right nonetheless.

For a sustain S but in general? Not as high obviously. Too much rng to be reliable (Lisara wrote that this run took a lot of rng xD)
@@NeViKble I feel it's still higher than mid. You can't 1 cycle high MoC floor with Luocha or Huo Huo no matter how many tries. Don't know about Fu, never tried her as dps and don't want to talk out of the ass.
If anything, this video showed me in practice that Aventurine has enough of things going in his kit to make him equal among Fu and Huo Huo.

@@Gentraf??? Those are sustains, compared to damage dealers aventurine is definitely C tier in damage, if not lower. Basically every damage dealer(even 4 stars) can 1 cycle Yanqing with this setup, and though he doesn’t have a defense buffer right now, his rng still makes him suboptimal for being a main dps.
