    You guys DO realize he's been on his fists for over 4 minutes - while calmly and continuously speaking without disrupting his breath - and without breaking a sweat... amazing

    Hi, I am not a Systema student (I train KFM) but I think this is a very interesting explanation and you showed convincing applications. Thanks for posting this one.

    Great video! I am a systema beginner, and really appreciate your skill and learning more drills with the basic push up. I am really looking forward to watching the rest of your videos

    A simple web search would show you systema is Russian for system and as for the title each branch or club is called using this naming so you have systema Sweden, systema Germany, systema Greece and so on. Please look around and think a little before you post again. What I teach is not connected to "Systema Spetsnaz" but comes from the Ryabko school. Have a good one.

    There are many striking positions. Find what is comfortable and works for you and then change it to see how you work under injury and so on. Keep working.

    The pronation and suppination (especially @ 1:54) of your wrists is envied. That's some seriously strong connective tissue you've built up in there over the years.

    The man is this video is not as simple as he looks he is soft spoken but do not take this as a weakness. I have suspicion he is very dangerous at the shortest distance and absolutely deadly beyond a mile.

    perfect form. it's so hard for me to keep my forearms so perpendicular to the ground. if i may ask, how many months/years did it take you to perfect the systema push-up technique?

    hi sharon, when I do pushups, situps, leg raise and squats should I feel totally sore? The next day I feel "destroyed" all muscles are sore and I am not really able to do it again , does this mean I did it wrong? focusing too much on muscular effort/ had too much tension or should just focus more on breathing/relaxation/ self awareness ? or am I just pitying myself?

    • @ransuru
      @ransuru  7 років тому +2

      Consider building yourself instead of testing or taxing yourself. Do a bit and a while later your capacity will grow naturally. Let the breathing dictate the tempo and your heartbeat the sum. And smile. It helps.

    Человек остается свободен, если он учит себя правильно вести в стрессовой ситуаации или при давлении на него. Ты должен научить себя тому, что всегда есть движенние, даже под большим давлением, когда ты осознаешь это- ты свободен. Or in my native tongue. Set yourself free from within with knowledge of self and knowing your inner pressures will enable you to gain self control and from this you will be able to be of service to others.

    @haloglitcher09 There is no pleasure in answering hate with hate. Once you understand that fear and anger are just two sides of the same coin you can understand and work with whatever you are given without it controlling your emotions. Be safe

    I thank you but I am far from perfect. I do not know how long it takes and it is a personal experience for each and every one of us. My best advise is to keep doing a bit each day and the progress will surprise you.

    What's the main difference between systema and Krav Maga ? In your opinion ? What's better or worse about systema? What is Krav Maga missing in your opinion ?
    Thank you in advance for your answer . Nice video

    • @ransuru
      @ransuru  9 років тому +2

      Hello,
      The difference between martial arts is always a state of mind. You can teach Kenpo and it would be systema and vice verca so I cannot answer this question without referring to specific teachers. There is no better martial art but what is right for a person and a time in his life. The same goes for the what is missing in Krav maga question. You can take it as you wish or study both and form your own opinion knowing it is your personal outlook. I only studied Krav maga in the army so I cannot testify as to the civilian version.

    The verb f.u.c.k is used for humans as slang but is not proper language or meant for such use. The verb comes from a German word which refers to breeding livestock animals. That is enough on this subject.

    No offense taken. Read it and see what is there: Systema Israel and not Israeli Systema. You also have Systema Sweden and Systema London and many more. It is just a location and nothing more. Come and visit us if you are in the neighborhood sometime and we will welcome you.

    Yes I am aware that there are different branches of Systema but I don't think he is. He think it's like other fighting systems or martial arts that apply the same or very similar doctrine and techniques no matter the country unlike Systema which does have a few variations.

    Everyone moves and thinks differently. Working on just two knuckles neglects the rest of the fist in my opinion but we can agree to disagree.

    I think maybe he means that this is usually the abbreviated word to mean "The System" but the full length is what many consider to be Systema Spetsnaz and that this says Systema Israel. I don't know many Americans who practice Karate, call it Karate America or American Karate. Maybe he's just racist. Who knows. I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

    yeah man, not to be all lovey dovey, but racism/prejudice has no place here. we're all students on a path of self-discovery and perfection. let's leave behind all the uneccessary BS and learn from those who know more than us and teach to those who know less
