3:00 You know the sauce is hitting right because all the talking stopped 😂😂😂 love the video, glad these gentlemen got to sample some of our cuisine.
Glad you enjoyed 😍❤️
The US has several regional styles of BBQ that are distinct and justifiably famous. First let me say I'm no BBQ expert, and that this is just a broad overview from a northern Yankee perspective (BBQ is associated with the south).
North Carolina is on the southern east coast of the USA. (BBQ probably originated here, changing as it moved west and south.) There are sub-regions of NC BBQ: Eastern NC is known for their peppery vinegar-based wet mop technique (a very liquid sauce/marinade, NO tomatoes, that's applied with a "mop" while cooking). (Normally this is a wood-smoked whole hog; it won't be the same, and purists will rebel, but you could try it with chicken instead of the pork.) There's an Upstate version, along the North Carolina/Virginia border, that's a thin vinegar-tomato sauce. There's also a western NC (or Lexington) style that's sweeter/thicker/heavier, featuring butter, brown sugar, and ketchup on pork shoulder (again substitute chicken). The meat is sliced, pulled, or chopped, may be served in a bun, with extra sauce over or on the side for dipping. (There's a lot of disagreement and regional pride about which way is "correct.")
The state of South Carolina is just south of NC, also on the Atlantic US coast. They use a mustard-based sauce.
The state of Tennessee is further west, inland and adjacent to NC; they have Memphis-style BBQ. Tomato-based, more smoky sweetness, preference for pork ribs, rather than pulled pork. (Memphis is a city in the far west of the state, also famous for Elvis Presley🎶.)
The state of Missouri is further west from both Tennessee and the state of Kentucky (KY is on TN's north border). Kansas City is on MO's western border with the state of Kansas. They are known for Kansas City-style BBQ (features beef and pork, but I don't know the specifics that make it distinct). Supposed to be sweet and tangy tomato-based sauce.
The state of Alabama is south of central Tennessee; part of AL stretches south to the Gulf of Mexico. They are known for an unusual white sauce.
The state of Texas is in south central US, on the extreme southern border with Mexico. It is 3 states west of AL and 2 states south of Kansas. Texas BBQ features mostly beef, to a lesser extent pork and sausage. It uses a dry rub (influenced by Tex-Mex flavors), smoked over mesquite wood, and no sauce.
I am sorry that the inflation Pakistan is so bad. 1000 PKR seems to be about $3.60 USD. Unfortunately, our chicken is close to that cost. I am glad the men get to enjoy chicken on the channel!
Peace, Love, and Blessings to you❤️
Kansas city missouri bbq and memphis Tennessee bbq are fantastic. North carolina has good bbq as well.
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.😍
I think you guys would really like Carolina Golden BBQ and Alabama White BBQ Both very diffferent from what most people think of when they think of BBQ.
