As an Ivorian it makes me so happy to see Ghanaians and Ivorians starting to have an interest in each other. We have so much in common. Food, akan culture, we are pretty much brothers separated by colonial borders. Thanks for visiting and highlighting your stay there.

We really need to fast track our regional integration as Ivorians, Ghanaians and all other African States. We're all just beautiful. Loving Ivory Coast from Ghana.
Africans and black people around the world need to learn to start visiting African countries as tourists, not as critics... This video was just a perfect balance of what you'd expect from certified pan-Africans. Kudos, Vanessa. Very enjoyable indeed!
Love that you said this! We really need to visit as tourist instead of critics! I wanna highlight this point on my socials 😀
Please don't get it twisted. Exchanges have always existed between both countries. Exposing it now on Social Media does not mean it is a new phenomenon.
This is so profound ❤
Thanks for sharing this video!
I am an African-American who loves traveling back home to the motherland. And the Ivory Coast is one of the prettiest countries I’ve visited on the continent. I’ve also watched numerous UA-cam videos on many different countries in Africa…and this was one of the best videos I’ve seen so far. Thank you for helping to change the narrative about Africa. And thank you for changing the negative images & misconceptions about Africa. Because the reality is that Africa is very beautiful…with lots of greenery & scenery to enjoy. And lots of food, music & culture to enjoy.
❤ from 🇨🇮🙏
Please 🙏 come to cape coast 🇬🇭🇬🇭 is a peaceful place to stay
Being born in Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 we always call Abidjan Petit Paris of Africa, and Assinie Mafia a resort town at the Atlantic coast near the Aboisso/Noe/ Elugbo border cities between Ghana and Ivory Coast is definitely a beautiful place to live
@@theotokosyadah7207 Dumbest comment ever! what does the name CAMEROON have to do here? Since 1 month it seems like Cameroon has become the obsession of Ivory Coast. Cameroonian citizens will never see Ivory Coast like Paris, we have one of the biggest French speaking diaspora in US, UK, France to see your country like Paris. We are PROUD for who we are. 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲❤❤

@@elianemadolo2335 we don't care about you either with your country filled with red earth, it's what Ivorians who want that. And who is not proud of his country. For your invalidation, no Ivorian considers you to make you an obsession. It's rather you who chase us every time on our pages and channels looking for bogus comparisons. Côte d'Ivoire is a much higher level than your country.
Those areas are so nice and so green
so does that make assinie like the versailles of africa since it's right near paris lol
I’m Ivorian thank you for showing my beautiful country to the world ❤️
The Ivory Coast is an incredible country. Loved it a long time ago...
Well done girls! It was too short! The next time, take your time to see Abidjan ( you did not!!), to go to Yamoussoukro, to Jacqueville, Assouinde and see Abidjan by night! Plan for at least 10 days trip! It is only at 1h flight!
Book an hotel in Plateau or Cocody and take a city tour on the laguna. Don't forget to go to Boulay Beach Resort! You will love it! Anyway, this is your country also, and Marintia and Nubuko will improve their French speaking skills! Thank you Vanessa! I love that Anna was very cool!
Good job!
During the Biafran war between 1967 to 1977 Ivory coast supported us through out the years love you Ivory coast
yes , i remmember the secssion war of christian Biafra and colonem Ojuvku; no body helped you guys, the England ( which I have no sympathy for) sustained Lagos, Gen. Yakubu Gown. I wish Biafra to remain christian. My sympathy.
First as an Ivorian I just want to say my brothers from Ghana that you are very welcome ! Our home is you le home too Akwaba. We are twins country so I will not go through comparaison. I will just enhance that we need to know each other’s and experience the variety of vibes our countries could offer. So brothers sisters you are welcome everywhere in Ivory Coast. Next time Yamoussoukro San Pedro korhogo .
Can't wait for us to remove the unnecessary border imposed on my people
Much love from Ghana. Forgive my ignorance, I never knew the English Literacy was this good. I always thought I would be faced with a language barrier if I ever visited as you guys speak French.

You are welcome brother Akwaba !
Akwaba!
You'll be Akwaba
welcome to my country ❤❤❤
I stayed in this country for 3 months. There are very good people in Abidjan they live together hope I get a chance to come again love from 🇮🇳❤️😇
I went there for a few days while in Ghana and it's a nice getaway close by. I had no idea it was so developed in terms of the buildings and roads.Went to Asine and it definitely reminded me Ada. Went to their version of art center and was surprised how the artisans were chilled and not aggressively trying to get you into their shops. That was quite different than art center in Accra.
Just needed to say... As someone from the UK, it's great Vanessa for you and your friends to provide a brief but interesting insight into Francophone counties, in this case Ivory Coast. Having travelled previously to Tanzania, there is so much more of the glorious continent to explore. Thanks again👍🏿
Amazing blog.....!
A Scottish accent on a pretty girl in AFRICA is sooooo Charming 🌹
I’ve now added Ivory Coast to my list ! The hotels are beautiful 😍
As far as the hotels, they have many more even nicer than hotel particular, where they stayed (not taking anything away from hotel particular). It is all about how much you will be willing to spend for a nice stay ;)
You'll love it for sure. Great country and beautiful places to check out.

I love the connection between all you girls.
Yep many of the francophone countries incl Chad, Gabon & Congo don't give you plastic bags when you go to the grocery store. Your choices are to buy a brown paper bag, buy a cloth bag or bring your own reusable bag.
I don't know but, they always always give plastic bag for grocerie shopping, in DRC Congo at least
@@blessedtobless. i meant Republic of Congo not DR Congo. You're not the only Congo out there lol😊😉
One good thing in Ivory Coast I liked during my visit is, it’s not difficult to find someone who speak English at theese public areas to translate for you when u need help. It makes moving around easy. In Ghana here it’s a different thing.
We take english classes from middle school to the end of high school, it is only 2 to 4hours/week depending of the major in high school.
@@axoslasauce3674 and that’s good. In Ghana, we focus mostly on twi and English. It will be difficult to find someone speaking French along the street for help.
Glad we are now progressing - visiting the continent is a way forward. Thank you for taking the lead. Let's rise !!
Hey Vanessa your video kept popping up on my page until i clicked to actually see what you had to offer in cote divoire vlog . Thanks for showing our country so beautifully and you summarized the trip so well . Loved your vlog
Have been to both places Assinie and Ada. these are the kind of environments I wish to spend the rest of my live if only I could... eih babaGod na beg I dey beg. Where everywhere looks green and blue. Breeze blowing, sun shining, birds singing...weitin again!!!
love nature.
Thank you for this great video. It showcased Cote d'Ivoire in a good way. As far as road infrastructures are concerned, Cote d'Ivoire has been miles ahead of the neighboring countries for years. That was due to its economic prosperity. Recently, Abidjan has tried to reinvent itself and maximize on "Business Tourism"; that explains the numerous new hotel buildings throughout the city. Nice people, vibrant city and definitely a LOT more to see when you go outside of Abidjan to places like Yamoussoukro, Grand Bassam, San Pedro etc!
🙂 Thanks for visiting, I loved it, but I couldn't get passed the unfortunate lack of good service or dare I say lack of attention from 'Hôtel Particulier', it's one thing that I keep bringing up in various places, I tell them: you have such nice places, just work on good services. I hope they see this and do better, imagine only if they were good at serving you, it would have been such good publicity. Next time, plan on staying longer! 😄 you could go to Yamoussoukro and other easily accessible cities. I am in the tourism industry and would love to help out. 🙂 I love the positive report on the roads and public transport, we tend to be very critical of the government but that was a nice compliment. 😅😄👏 Hope to see you soon! 🙏
Definitely Abidjan has a French vibe....the boulevards are a lot more organized...they are also better than Accra at managing transport from what I saw in the video (not sure if it's all over the city). But I see the foods are more continental than African....or it that you guys' choice?
Any continental food served in African countries is basically African food... Perhaps you meant to say the foods are more intercontinental.
Yes it is all like that in Abidjan. Abidjan used to be the spot before 20 years of political crisis. Thank god the country is moving progressively
Attiéké with fried plantains and fish is continental ? All I saw was Ivorian food trust me they just serve that way maybe that’s what you were talking about.
Oh no ivoirans food is 100% african and for me one of the best in africa.
Merveilleux!! même si je vis loin d'Abidjan, cette vidéo me rappel à quel point la Côte-d'Ivoire me manque. ABIDJAN EST DOUX HEIN!
Jean-Yves in the building 🔥😍♥️
Thank you ladies for stepping in the French speaking side of Africa 😍😍
Next stop, please go to DRCongo 🥰
Very nice video, thanks Vanessa !
People in Africa should start visiting each other as an tourist to learn more about the culture, the story and much more
The body of water is a lagoon. Abidjan is dubbed the Pearl of lagoons. There are about 4 lagoons in Abidjan.
I am Ivorian, I admit I really enjoyed your video, I really like to discover I am targeting Kenya Ghana and Gabon. i love africa❤❤❤
@cedrick_Avicii Welcome to Kenya 🇰🇪 🙏
Yayyy finally😍😍😍🥳 can’t wait for more adventures!
Marintia! For me, this is only a "first contact". You did not see anything. Go back for at least 10 days, and I bet, you will move to Cote d'Ivoire @ you specially have a good French accent and learn so quickly! I am impressed!!
Go back to visit:
- Plateau/Cocody (Beverly Hills...)/ Youpougon by night/ Abidjan by night
- Boulay Beach Resort
- Abidjan by laguna tour
- Jacqueville
- the greatest basilica in the world in Yamoussoukro/ the Felix Houphouet Foundation there/ engineering schools et.
- Assouinde
And so on
Visit also different Malls in Abidjan.
You will fall in love with Cote d'Ivoire, specially Baby (Abidjan)
'Love to see you going back

Thanks for this. I'm actually planning a trip to Côte d'Ivoire. This was enlighting. We need more insights from Africans visiting other African countries!!
Hi Vanessa, hahaha🤣🤣 it just feels like you and Anna are having to play the mother role for the other ladies, I get it they are young and full of energy.......Anyway, it was so cool to see you all together and Abidjan has a cool vibe.
Vanessa!!!! One advice , when traveling, don't keep all your money in 1.spot cuz, at least if you lose some ; you always have something somewhere
For the next Time please go to the basilica, to the nzi river loge( for safari) , maison dakoula ( assinie ) for the sunday after work chill , natural pool IN the sea to grand bereby ,kafalo lagoon to jacqueville . The grand bassam musem. For the magic expérience and tourist level . Pullman hôtel , moon hôtel . We love you. ♥️ i am an agent tourist
Was there a month ago, both Abidjan and Assinie, so lovely. The water, scenery, food !!! Wow🤩
Love the collaboration. Ivory Coast is also nice one hour away from Ghana definitely worth the visit.
Ah ah j’ai trop aimé l’ambiance de ce vlog ! Bravo aux filles d’essayer d’apprendre le français c’est pas facile .

We speak very bad english but in High School we have english lesson for 7 years so I would say 50% of the country understand a little bit english .
Yeah, I think people here realized they need to learn the language for better career prospects or opportunities abroad. So they try to learn as much as they can, in middle and high school or on their own.
Yeah, but a lot of people in Accra speak twi or slang.
finally , the first content about my country from your channel , thanks for sharing 🇨🇮😍.
Akwaba to Côte d'Ivoire .
Hey Vanessa I am one of your biggest fans and I had been wondering when you were gonna visit my country ( IVORY COAST ). I'm so happy you finally did it !!! There is so much to do and see out there. I'm just sad I wasn't there to show you ladies around :) . But I'm glad you guys were able to connect with Jean Yves ( "L'investisseur Africain) while you were there. Thank you Vanessa & friends. This is very informative for me as we prepare to to travel from Ghana to Ivory Coast during our holidays in Ghana in few months. We may stay at that holiday if close to our destination. It will be our first time in Ivory Coast, I am excited for the trip but at the same time a bit anxious for the travel from 🇬🇭 to 🇨🇮.

This is really good, I’m proud of you girls doing your thing.
Abidjan looks 👌 😍
Our ghanaian ladies 🥰😍😘 you all look pretty
Thank you for sharing this amazing video. I am from Abidjan and I could not agree more with you about the customer service. It is lacking in most venues. Hopefully, as more people talk abt it, it will be looked into.
This isn't just ivory Coast Nigeria my country customer service is as bad.
Ghana too. So customer service in West Africa is a series issue😞
When I visited Lesotho and South Africa, they had good customer service.
The service in the Gambia was a little better than in Senegal unless you go to places where white tourists are.
Set up school to teach them instead of complaining 🙄🙄
@@8674k Oh, we do have great schools already teaching how to handle customers.
The issue is, many people think complaints are bad. No, it is a great way for serious businesses to improve their services. Also, It is not the job of the victim to teach the abuser how to get it right.
Wonderful Trips you guys took Vanessa 😃 the food looks great 😊 girls do know how to have fun 🤩 I will invest in a pair of crocs 😜❤️❤️❤️ cheers 🥂
