No way Mabisyo and Slowerpace together?! Awesome! I just had to express my gratitude for this release/collaboration: Genesis is on! The artwork for the cover is stupendous! Thank you very much, I must reiterate. Oh and it’s a concept album above all else judging by what I read on bandcamp. I’m listening to this on bandcamp.
Seems like a whole life time ago now, since I first heard your work. Maybe it's on account of my hearing loss or something but this sounds very different. I think a lot of this album just falls under a decibel range I cannot hear anymore. Either way as usual I am still here and what I can hear is nice but damn even just a couple months ago I could hear better :P I also just want to add on here that the artwork is lovely as per usual.

I am disappointed... a collab between these two should have been less... boring. Generic and redundant, there are 100 other atmospheric albums that sound the Exact same out there. This should have been more like the Majesic 12 collab Velvet Notes. You know.... fun.
I guess it's all a matter of taste, but there's something you have to understand. Within Barber Beats literally everything is based on Lounge and Jazz, it's a sound that's too exploited, even Velvet Notes is an album that at the time when I made it with my brother MJ12 was already something that sounded generic. Both me and my brother Slowerpace wanted to do something different within Barber Beats and that's what we achieved.
Appreciate your position. I apologize for the use of the word generic. Giving it another go through I have to say it occupies a different space than the albums I love most from you two. It really is all a matter of taste. I personally would have preferred something less ambient. That does not take away the effort and artistic expression that this album shows. That quality and care is evident from the first note to the last. Thank you for all the great music and hope to hear more from you both in the future.
