16:38 coach talks about weapon under center related to uncovered guys all over the place. Exactly. You still can throw uncovered all over the place from the gun. The qb just has to get rid of it asap
Coach I'm super upset I missed this live I even set reminder. This is awesome stuff. Proves you can have. A running game . One of the best in a spread offense. Kinda makes sense tho if u think about it. 2 spread the defense out then run the ball. Beautiful
I love run n shoot I was thinking of mixing a 2 back offense like single wing and then go to motion recievers tight or bunch gun or pistol formation to run n shoot I loved watching hawaii run n shoot wit the big boi running back getting the shuffle quick screen passes colt brennan was unstoppable I think the better the qb accuracy the better the run n shoot
Wish he could breakdown SLIDE. we ran it at Praire view a&m but I don't remember the outside wr running choice?? Thought it was curl bubble then corner
Defenses have evolved. I’d like to hear more about how the package would attack the split safety cover 7 world and 3 safety structures the next time he’s on.
I personally would use a running back in the back field to run up the middle off of either a fake OR actually get the ball to force that defense to keep honest. If all you do is attack the perimeter, then they'll spread out, so the counter is attack the middle.
Great episode. Especially if you have a kid who is a stud at the RB position. I am more into the Mouse Davis version. I would like to see more on empty set RnS.
Coach Marsalas recruited my son for Defiance although my son choose a different school I was very impressed with the coach , as I'm a high school football coach and was very impressed with him.I wish him well
@@CoachMcKie Hey coach I loved your show if you could send me info on what days and time your on I'd love to view it live .it's great to get insights from other coaches..thanks
As a Falcons fan I never really liked the running and shoot. If you're not too busy, can you do a video about positives and negatives are running the wishbone option offense, I really love that offense
Did you know in the 1971, Barry Switzer was the OC of an Oklahoma team that averaged over 400, almost 500 yards rushing per game and roughly 45 points per game?
Was a great conversation about the Run n Shoot. I was blessed to work for Manny Matsakis. A great mentor and friend.
1:22:38 . Holly cow. His half roll was maybe best I've seen. See how deep he got. And he did it fluidly. Smooth . That was freaking beautiful
Yes it was a think of beauty. Coach says he really drills this home during practice.

Yes sir. You can do it all if you have a system you believe in.

This is wonderful @CoachMcKie!! Like watching a famous producer talk about how Your Favorite Songs were made!!!
This is really good never knew you could run as much from this offense
Appreciate the time fellas! Great session! Can’t wait for the next episode.
Thanks for the kind words coach and for watching.

Are there any problems with wide splits?

191 yards rushing a game . That's freaking unheard of . Wow in the run and shoot.

What is the 'slide' passing concept?
