Point Douglas and Spence and Furby areas come in a close second. I would have liked to seen the North End in the 1950's when it was not a gang infested playground and full of slum landlords and their rentals. Lots of corner grocery stores too.

It still is, gets a bad rap from the burbs. Elmwood has the slumlords and has gone downhill since the 1950s

@@peezim I knew two men who were beaten on Manitoba Avenue and dumped on the road. One of them has always carried a knife ever since.
