Oh God I just realized that the player might've been inflicted with deep sleep upon opening Poppy's case too since poppy tells to "Wake up" at the beginning
The official OST that plays immediately after, during the credits, is called "Deep Sleep" also.
Maybe it was in poppys cage and is why she looked asleep before?
I swear to GOD, if they pull the "It was all a dream" trope on us...
You know what's even more terrifying?
Exp 1006 came there and blocked our path with those obstacles, while we're totally unconscious. And it's stated that 1006 is more than capable of killing someone even when they're fully awake, I wouldn't call it mercy but sometimes things that we ignore are what would terrify us the most.

Mommy’s pupils growing when she got pissed definitely made her incredibly horrifying, before she was humanised but then became a true monster

I don’t care how many people tell me otherwise, but Mommy Long Legs’ chase will be the most iconic in the series for me. The way that she stretches her arms out to try and get you while making those disturbing noises is just intense. I can’t wait to see what happens in chapter 3.
Plus the end of the chase where she's so set on grabbing and killing you that she doesn't even pay attention to where she's putting her hands, which results in her agonizing death. Huge props to the voice actor here, she did an incredibly convincing job! The "he'll make me part of him!" Is probably my favorite line in the series so far. The noises she makes as the life leaves her, the fading, slightly gurgly groan/scream of terror and pain, it's just crazy

@@CharlieFarrow07 Yes! Compared to huggy, she also probably went through way more pain. He's a living stuffed animal, and due to his arms being so floppy, he clearly has little to no bones. Mommy being made of hard plastic that isn't used to bending and being crushed made her death more impactful due to the obvious pain she was in
@@Nectarthebee I agree. When her abdomen exploded when it made contact with the machine you can hear the pain in her screams. Mommy Long Legs was also the scariest monster so far for me from the way she sounds to the way she resembles a spider to the way how she is in general just terrifies me especially when it sounded like a another voice was in her when she was getting crushed by the machine.

One of the things i find interesting is how after every test Mommy will kill the monsters from the test room out of frustration from you winning.
In the counting game you hear a single screech from the vents. After Wack a Wuggy you can hear multiple wuggys screaming with rumbling sound effects.
You can eventually find the wuggys hanging from spider webs in the main lobby area. Its really morbid, and kinda sad.
Mommy to the other toys when you win: "You know the rules, it's time to die!"
But it never happened with PJ. At least nothing was found

I hope kissy stays helpful, like she’s the one toy who hasn’t gone insane and bloodthirsty. (Ik poppy isn’t insane but the end makes her not seem the most friendly either). Though if she is friendly the whole time, they’ll probably give her a tragic death. Like the big baddy is about to kill you and she dies saving you or it kills her for helping you. That or she’s gonna lose her mind and become a threat like huggy. How would you guys like to see her?

I'd rather have Poppy survive to the end of the series, helping us deal with the Prototype and any other big baddies in chapter four, and maybe beyond? I also hope Kissy hasn't actually died at the end of chapter 3. Though, admittedly, she probably has.
53:05 - The reason why he did that is simple :
You/Protagonist reaches the far end and finds it's a dead end.
Effectively meaning this was a challenge that was 100% rigged and 1 we were never meant to survive.
By doing this its a - Default win -
So that's why Mommy claims we cheated . We die she gets too watch. Dam it is simple

Well, excited for Chapter Three with Deep Sleep. I have a feeling that Chapter Three will be much darker than Mommy's end here. It's just a feeling but the new enemy sounds exciting as well

This has probably been brought up before by someone, but I'm not active in the theory area for Poppy Playtime. Anyways, as the one note mentioned in this chapter, there is the interaction with the researchers where the Experiment uses an alarm clock to lure one of them in. The beeping noise that begins during Poppy's speech at the end of the chapter is very similar to an alarm clock tone. Maybe this is showing that the Experiment is going after Poppy directly and she got caught in one of his traps? Especially with Chapter 3 being titled Deep Sleep and having the sleeping gas, I'm sure there are plenty of alarm clocks around for the Experiment to use.
That's an incredible theory actually, and I've never heard it before! Poppy could be a good guy after all? Or perhaps she's just using us to get back at an enemy, and once she's finished with us she won't need us anymore, plus we now know a little too much

One thing I'm wondering. Does the train code remain the same regardless of save file? If yes, then what's stopping you from writing down the train codes and just leaving without having to save Poppy or play any games with Mommy Long Legs
I think it's different each time as I seen multiple play throughs and the code is different in each

@@vincenthall5908 Fair enough. The only problem is the door to get on the train is on the opposite side. You'd have to glitch/leap your way across the tracks in order to get on board.
@@22Teslamake sure to check out AstralSpiff!! He was able to accomplish it! He does a lot of these speed runs and often breaks the games sometimes LMFAO
did anyone notice? poppy in the beginning sound much more cheerful antsy to leave, while poppy at the end sounds more dead inside. either poppy has two souls in one doll or there are two poppies.

I feel like they might keep her a quiet helper for a while, giving us hints to her motives each time, and when the time is right she'll get her final role. Theory wise, she might also be a character that will be killed off to show the strength or abilities of a boss, maybe the prototype. Another idea is that the prototype catches her but she fights him from within?

If she'll be good I wonder if Huggy could be too hes got a sense for obedience more so than the 1006 Prototype right. So maybe he's been following orders and without the hostile Mommy i wonder if Huggy can act of his own accord too

Watching this playthrough again, something came up to me. Mommy says "he'll make part of him". If the Prototype truly wants to assimilate Mommy to himself, why did Mommy say "him" and not "himself"? Is she really becoming a part of 1006? Or is 1006 making the toy parts of that amalgamation that is supposed to be someone else entirely? Hopefully, Chapter 3 will touch upon that.
I'm assuming it's still himself and not a separate being from 1006, but it could be that 1006 is just collecting parts to finish him as maybe he isn't fully complete

I hope chapter 3 will be released in December 26 but he will play this game all jumpscares as well with full game and this game with no deaths without getting jumpscares
If not due to the condemned nature of several factory wings I'd say those tunnels were dug by the living toy prototype, he was roaming around as the other experiments were being created, so precedes any access mommy longlegs had to this part of the facility.
How did it take me this long to put together that the beeping that cuts Poppy off is an alarm clock... specifically the one the prototype used in the tape...
at 1:08:13 is that suppose to be the Bonzo that was in that comic that the community voted on what happened next in and ended with him trapped and died in a dark room? cause the way he's sitting plust that scrap of paper in the corner possibly the comic strip he drew before dying, i think that is the reference here.

Unless the game has been altered I think you missed a collectable on the broken staircase by musical memory, if it is still there it should be visible as you grapple up to the top, on one of the more complete sections of the stairs.
One thing i sorta disliked about the minigames is when whevener Mommy Longlegs speaks after the game is explained, the observstion room is a little too distant. So like in Wack-A-Wuggy, you can just BARELY see her drop a couple of strings she took from the Wuggys. And i feel thats a detail we should see a bit more clearly yknow?

Something in the air of the factory seems to drive the experiments mad over time, doesn't it seem strange that Huggy wuggy went from an ideal obedient helper to mindless animalistic killer in a very small amount of time?

After re-watching DAGames playthrough of this, when the comercial song was playing I could not help but sing aloud "Until she wraps your neck and you die of cardiac". Don't judge me!🤣 that was probably one of the funniest parts of that video.
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for taking the time to explore the environment. A lot of players just zoom through just doing gameplay, so I like that you slow down a little.
Man I remember the 1st playthrough that was insane and the 1st chapter when Superhorrorbro played it. Cannot wait for the chapter 3 playthrough. And also thanks for the news video for chapter 3 without that I wouldn't had knew lol. Unless I checked the discord.
I'm kinda annoyed that no one's talking about the door closing in the very far right corner at 1:21:38. There you can see something blue and furry; Huggy watching us perhaps? Or is it something new entirely?
I unironically think the sir poopsalot is poking at how many toilet themed toys you can find. It's actually a little gross, I remember seeing some ads when I was younger / some wierd things in stores.
I don't remember how many toys i saw that "poop" as a child and how many of those "pooping" toys were in Toy stores. But it was a lot and it was insane. My parents were relieved when i asked for plushies or toy cars as a kid and not for those "pooping" toys. Guess i was a weird kid but not crazy. 🙃

something i find interesting, that i genuinely dont know if anyone noticed, or at least I haven't seen pointed out, is that when you repeatedly press kissy's button and she starts making the train noises faster and faster before stopping abruptly, I think it foreshadows to the end of chapter 2 with poppy's betrayal. i think people hardly notice it because either they don't bother to press kissy's button that much or even at all, or that even through replays, it's easy to just look over it. but I think it's a cool easter egg :]

I just wanted to say Mob Entertainment made a lot of changes that enhanced the game so much! For example, there are now flashing lights in Statues to indicate where to go and in the chase scene, there were arrows telling you to grapple up and many other changes that make the game less frustrating. Good job, Mob Entertainment!

What I find so sad is that the kids basically the only thing that kept the toys sane before the outbreak The mascot's like mommy Long legs and huggy Both of them interact with the kids and to play with them When the kids were gone They went insane and they attacked the adults Mommy says this: "It was so sad to see the kids go, They call me mommy because I was the only thing they had to one" She care deeply about the children and always wanted to protect them She holds a Grudge against the people who run or work at Playtime co like the player she loved carrying and taking care of the kids who came to The game station When that was gone so was her sanity
Always one of the good people to watch after a long day of school!

It's more likely that huggy wuggy fell this far and was collected by something else as there is plenty of fur but no hand prints of huggy. Also the fur is matted with blood, the amount of each doesn't seem like a safe loss even for a giant mascot.

Given the speculation with chapter 3 and thus looking at it in retrospect, I believe Catnap dragged huggy's broken body through that vent shaft. Given the fact that there are more blood spatters than fur clods Huggy couldn't have done it alone(he would have had to be assisted)also that you yourself, Superhorrorbro pointed out Catnap's ability to change size at will. A shrunken Catnap could have dragged Huggy's remains through this area as he only shrinks in stature not ability.

Have you guys ever wondered why the player left the toy factory? I think that the player had an adopted daughter and she went missing. How do I know this. Because if you remember matpats theory about who the player is, I think that the player knew about the experiments and how when his daughter disappeared, he knew what happened to her. So he left because he couldn't stay there. Until he received a letter from the factory and a spark of hope was lit. He came back for his daughter and only for him to encounter again as kissy Missy. I think kissy Missy is the players daughter, why? Because the way she looks up at them like she recognizes the person and as soon she leaves, she sees you a second time because she knows she can't come home.
This theory is so sad😢
