As a rescuer main, some tips I can say to rescue better is to keep in mind the hunter attack animation speed to try and juke the hit. Most hunters will attempt to attack when the chair is close to being on its second half rather than before it if you are late, while the other part of the hunters will attempt to attack if its too early to make it a quick rescue Heading to the rescue moments before the survivor is knocked down might be vital if you are too far away, as in the case of the match with the axe boy, so you can rescue more safely without risking for terrorshock and have a rescue before half For hunters with good camping abilities, it depends from time to time. With feaster a good thing to do if they have set up a tentacle is to break it in front of them, so they either put another one or hit you both giving you plenty of time to rescue while in its animation, for bon bon its good to rescue before the bombs become red so the hunter is forced to hit you or put out more bombs which give you some time, if risky for the latter but still possible. For Axe boy its useful to circle around the chair because it can take the hit of the soul for you to avoid it, but circling around him can work out too, both work so long as it isn't too late and if they do use the soul you can try to rescue quickly because they can't attack as long as they are in the animation (but theres the risk of the survivor being insta hit by the flame, or double down) Those tips might not work out the best sometimes but they are a general guide that can be used, hopefully it might be helpful!

The pain is real throughout the video lmao 😂 but for real though, rescuing is a thankless job and the terror shock panic is too. I usually try to just take a hit at the chair or while I’m on the way there and get the rescue than playing mind games bc I get too paranoid about getting terrorshocked

i feel you zeez 😔✋ i remember maining naib like 10 seasons ago because of how few rescuer mains there were in rank. in fact, i wanted to carry rank randoms so yeah, i would take the responsibility of being the rescuer + trying to kite as much as i could so my teammates could decode (srry i dont trust rank randoms and their 5s kites) i managed to get 2k points for merc by solo ranking but i got annoyed by those long queue waiting times and eventually dropped rank 😭 now im maining journalist because i own her limited s tier, its been fun so far! im slowly but surely getting better at using orphy to bodyblock/mindgame. i love alice
im an ex s badge gk main, ive gotten u a few times in my matches, rescuing is honestly just a lot of game sense and being able to read the hunter LOL that's why it's so difficult to give advice on how to rescue, as well as be good at rescuing, bcs it's all js experience. and even then, there's still a chance you'll make a mistake that can cost a match. my best piece of advice is to pick up a rescuer and play them consistently, bcs then youll be forced to learn how to get better. also a small tip, a lot of dragons and hydras have their chair timing down to a t, so something you can do is tap the chair a few times, bcs it stops the bar from moving up, meaning they're more likely to mess up that timing and give you a perfect 50 rescue. if ur ever nervous ab not making it before half, it's always okay to get an after half too!

its ok zeez you 'll get better at it. i use to rescue really badly and get ts all the time and now i main rescue chars. out of all things ive tried out, crouch method works the best. i just continuously do the full crouch because its a lot of movement and will make it hard for the hunter to see/react when you actually touch the chair
