      @Kim-mz8co He should face charges. Since law enforcement is held to a higher standard. When in court, a judge will give more credibility when it comes to he said, she said scenarios, then when the officer is lying, he should be charged for a crime when caught lying. How many times have the cops gone to court and given one version and the arrested given a different version of events and the courts side with the cops because he is suppose to be more believable. 🙄 Because of this higher standard, when caught lying., they should be charged with a crime.

    Why do we keep letting this happen, when things get hot & they know they're wrong, they just resign & NOTHING is done. We'll just let him get another police officer job & become someone else's problem & yes, I believe it is a reflection of the ENTIRE department!!

    Three levels of corruption here: sheriff office, DA and Judges. How many deputies stepped up to stop this? ZERO. So how can the deputies in this department be called good?

    • @SteveKasian
      @SteveKasian 3 роки тому +14

      THAT is precisely why 99% of all LEOs are corrupt. Whilst it may only be 30% or so that are out there actively violating people's rights, falsifying reports, and committing corrupt acts, the remainder do nothing to stop them, and are usually willing to back the bad cops up. That fact makes almost all LEOs corrupt.

    UPDATE: I searched Google for the Lieutenant's name to see how the case was resolved. An investigation was started against the Lieutenant who then resigned, but nothing has been provided in regards to the "investigation". It's a felony to lie on a police report, and this officer should have been charged.
