How lovely that you were able to visit your friend! I love your kind of souvenirs. Your batik fabric is going to make a gorgeous garment, and the buttons look perfect with that fabric. I have that Koko Beall dress pattern. It certainly would make a great summer dress. Maybe that should be my next garment to sew. I finished my last top so now I'm in the throes of making the machine covers. I decided to use a navy fabric for a trim and use the off white fabric I bought for the pockets. I think with the green decorative stitching, it will look good. I recently acquired a monogrammer for my slant shank Singers, so I'm playing around with the idea of monograming SINGER onto the pocket. It will affect the decorative stitching placement, but I think it might be really cute. Your socks as always are so lovely. I hope your granddaughter is thrilled with them.
Thank you, Nadine! I changed the dress pattern up, so I’m not using the buttons. I couldn’t resist changing it😊 I do love the look of that pattern, so maybe later I wi make it as pictured. I’m trying to plan out this ASG challenge where we have to use a jelly roll (cottons cut into long strips) to make something. Most people made something really easy, but I’m trying to figure out a jacket. If I’m successful, that will show up sometime this fall. It might take me that long to make it🤣
Yes, socks are the ticket for a road trip!! AND I'm very glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks that a pair of socks is not finished until you've cast on another sock! 😆😆 I feel much more normal now. I just received a rayon batik in my recent Stylemaker order..... It's most likely going to be a Donny Shirt 🥰 Thanks for the chat this morning!
Lynn, thank you for your comments! I usually always CO my second sock immediately. I’m almost to the heel on my second one. I’m wanting to CO the scrappy tank top; very excited about that project! I know I’ve looked at the Donny Shirt before, but will be checking that one out! Happy sewing and knitting😊
I love all of your choices for that scrappy knit top! and that batik!❤❤❤. I like granny squares (hexis, triangles, etc) for a road trip but I'm not opposed to socks and I"ve been itching to cast on a pair lately. Good to see you Cheryl
Hello, you must be fine. I visited your channel and analyzed some videos. Your video quality is very good but your channel is not SEO done Properly, due to which channel growth is very low. Also, your video is not SEO done with rank tag SEO score is poor. In short, SEO optimizes your channel properly, and every video needs to be SEO which will promote your channel and double the video views
I studied these keywords (SEO) and I try to tag as many as I can. I’ll admit I’m not the greatest with technology. I had a few videos in a row do well (100 +) and then it fell again. I think people expect me to do the more complicated sewing items; the easy items are not watched. I’m not sure what else to do right now. Maybe my title should change. It doesn’t have sewing in it, although, it has the word “seams.” Thanks for suggestions. I appreciate the input.
Oh, that batik! I need to head up there and check out that shop!
I was impressed! Karen, the owner, made me feel valued. As a garment sewer in a quilter’s world, that was saying something😊
