There have been instances of hunters using mouth calls who have been pounced upon by various predators, essentially everything from hawks and owls through cougars and bears 😲!) Set up in a crosswind, a dead calm day or in fickle breezes, and it is entirely possible to have predators approach from behind the caller/hunter. One big advantage of electronic calls is the ability to place the call some distance away from the shooter. Watch a few of Tim's videos and I'm sure you'll notice how often the coyote or other predator is intently focused on the source of the sound, not on Tim who is often standing in relatively clear view just a dozen or two yards away.
Oneida bows don't typically go past 55 ish lbs. I think a couple can be tuned to reach 70 lbs with a really long draw length. His is probably right at 50 lbs judging by his size and how he pulls it.
@@averageoutdoorsman9342 Most people use an Oneida Phenix to hunt big game. 50-70 pounds in 3 different draw length ranges. I have mine set at 60 pounds and it shoots a 460 grain arrow 250 fps.
