@@MikeHensley42 im really new to the tech world in this capacity. But ill have a look if i can make something work. I was hoping to hook a furby up to a chat bot, maybe with a arduino
@@RosiePaintsMinis in this video, it looks like several wires are connected to thr Furby, so I would say yes, you'll have to skin it. You might try to put the skin back on afterwards, but the wires could get in the way. I guess it just depends on what you are wanting the furby to do. I know there is a way to use the Furby's system to make it do certain preprogrammed things, look up "Comair Furby Wiki" to find out more. Basically they use a sound system to communicate and you can play a certain sound to make them do certain things. I don't know if this goes beyond preprogrammed actions, though.
@shanec3610 yeah the only reason I was messing with it in the first place is because my daughter threw it across the room and it broke so I opened up to try to fix it. Couldn’t fix it, but it was fun to try.

@@RosiePaintsMinis just be careful skinning and handling them, Fuby Booms/2012s are notably fragile and it's easy to break their spines.
@@Schnort do you think its required to strip them? Id prefer to keep them looking cute
