Everything Klaus tells Caroline when he gives her his blood seems very deep to me, and it's my favorite monologue from the series, even though we know he was to blame, it remains a beautiful dialogue.

I feel so bad for Elena, she had survivors guilt going over that bridge where her parents died, and Stefan force feeding her blood to get back at klaus was so messed up. I can't even imagine the pain and trauma she was going through.
But when Damon let her think and believe Bonnie had died then that was so "heroic and uWu🥺" because he did it to trick Klaus and had good intentions? The double standards are wildin They're both emotionally traumatising her, but she will eventually always forgive them because she loves them.

These situations are not similar one was about saving people and one was about getting revenge. Damon and Bonnie made a decision that would upset Elena to protect Bonnie and Elena. Stefan grabbed Elena and traumatized her because he wanted revenge and she wasn't his anymore apparently because once she wasn't his he no longer cared what she thought. Plus Damon and Bonnie were reacting to a threat. Stefan is the threat here. In the scene you're referring to Damon also said he hopes that they find away to save Elena without Bonnie but if it comes down to it he's willing to let Bonnie fight Klaus which isn't that Bonnie's choice you guys always love Stefan letting Elena make suicidal decisions but only Stefan can do that. Damon respected Bonnie's decision.
@ Damon resorted to killing Elenas brother and friends as soon as she wasn't his. There is no point to argue over this. You have your opinion, I have mine. You give excuses to his behaviour but the ironic thing is, Damon agreed with what Stefan did and told Elena it worked and needed to be done.
“It’s right, just not right now.” It’s such a good line from damon. He’s telling her that he is willing to wait for her, however long she needs. You can tell that Elena wanted to kiss him at the porch, but she’s saying no right now. There is mutual feelings between them and it’s so obvious.
Thank you guys for giving Matt his credit for standing face to face with Klaus and calling him out, and then still calling out yourselves that Klaus was the one to put Caroline into this position in the first place. On the hybrid blood front, Damon had it at the end of S2, and Stefan had it at the end of this season's second episode (in the Mountains after rabid David Gallagher bit him). So we haven't seen any strange consequences in either of those cases. One thing worth noticing- Klaus has the mayor's son sired, and went to the fundraiser and donated money; he had said son bite the sheriff's daughter and got himself invited into their home; he's consolidating a power structure in Mystic Falls to rival the one Damon started building (more discreetly, since their vampirism wasn't yet known to the Council) back in season 1. Damon and Stefan didn't even know about this at the time to bargain with Klaus on saving her. (The bond Damon built with Liz, being her go-to on vampire cases even before she knew he was one himself, is why she calls him when a stake gets buried in their medical examiner; plus, of course, his brother has been in a turf war with Klaus that poses danger and she wants to get a read if this has anything to do with that) I truly do love Matt's relationships with his ex-girlfriends- he's not the greatest in his actual relationships (though I think he and Tyler both get more heat for issues in their relationships with Caroline than is strictly on them), but he's such a solid friend after. Regardless it's no excuse and he is still wrong, I just think Stefan feels like after everything he's done there would be no return for him with Elena, Which probably just makes him more angry and why he's so hell bent on ending Klaus.
Stefan!s behaviour here … this is as low as the lowest that anyone can go. His actions were absolutely vile . No amount of explaining it away as a dimmer switch or any other excuse will fly. This was a cold-blooded , preplanned , calculated move to traumatise and scare the HELL out of this young girl , the girl he presumably still loves , to get at Klaus. He could’ve threatened her in any other way . But he chose the site of her greatest fear. He chose the method of death that still haunts her. Car accident plus drowning. And he threatened to turn her. Something that was abhhorent to her. A three pronged attack on the girl he still loves(?). Inexcusable . And then turned it around to say he had lost her the minute he left town ? No Stefan the poor girl has stood with you through everything… and iwasready to take you back in a heartbeat. No questions asked. Which is more than you deserve for the stunt that you just pulled.
Oh , the irony !! Stefan doing everything that he condemned Damon for doing, in S1 and S2. Emotions on?/off ? , being reckless , focusing on revenge , putting everone in danger by his acts, pretending not to care ... and even force feeding Elena his blood. The one big difference about the force feeding? Damon's was a spontaneous, spur of the moment , desperate attempt to save the girl he loves , from dying. Stefan's , a calculated , premeditated. callous move to use the girl he loves, as a pawn to avenge Klaus. Both Damon and Stefan being completely despicable to poor Elena for the force feeding. But in my book , Stefan's was way worse. Because it wasnt an impulsive move like Damon's. He was there when that happened, and he saw the look of fear and dismay and shock in Elena's face. Damon knew where Elena was because of the phone call between Klaus and Stefan and Damons 1st priority was to find out if she was safe so he either called Stefan and found out or just went to the bridge to see if they were there.

Yup, this was NOT Stefan's best episode at all. What he did was completely out of line, and he lied about not caring what she thinks of him. I think he does but right now he is channeling all his emotions into one thing and that's anger for Klaus and for what he took from him. Still no excuse and I'm a "stelena" fan but this wasn't our best episode guys. Lmao That scene between Nina and Paul was so emotional and while a sad scene especially for Stelena fans, it was a really well acted scene! Also that scene with Klaus and Caroline was sweet even though he is the reason she was dying in the first place! Lmao
I want to talk about the illusion of trust, when you form a bond with some one, you wanna believe the material that you used for that bond is strong and unbreakable. One of the first foundations for any relationships is trust and if that breaks, the whole relationship falls apart, but trust shouldn’t be that fragile, so if it breaks that easily, that means there was no trust there to begin with, it was only the illusion of trust. At the beginning of Stefan and Elena relationship, Stefan hid so many thing from Elena and it was always Elena herself who discovered new things about him every time and Stefan himself never told her anything about himself. So even if it looks like on the surface that those lies were insignificant at the moment and they were able to form a relationship any way but How long the truth could stay hidden? What she really knew about him? So now in this season, all the lies and every thing he hid from Elena is coming to the surface, showing Elena what this relationship is really built on. How could you trust the guy when you don’t know any thing about him? or worse, who you thought you know but now everything is crystal clear that you don’t and you only knew half of the story? Some one who you thought that would never hurt you is now hurting you the most. She is beginning to realise that every thing she thought she knew about him was not completely true and the idea that she created about him in her head was not the real Stefan. She's realising that she was building her home on the water, maybe the bond that they have with each other is not that strong because the materials used for that bond weren't that strong either. The relationship was built on lies and manipulation so there was never any real trust between them, it was always the illusion of trust but never the real deal.
What’s really happening here with Stefan?? Stefan got his humanity back 2 episodes ago but just like what Damon said it’s on a dimmer switch. Stefan couldn’t have been able to physically do what he is doing now if he hadn’t let himself care, rage is also an emotion, Stefan is focusing all of his emotions on to rage and he’s pushing all of his other feelings away so he wouldn’t have to deal with them at the moment . Choices of the characters are very important in this show so what is he gonna choose to do now? By allowing rage in and not other positive emotions like love, he is literally choosing revenge over love, what Stefan chose to do in this episode is horrible! Putting the girl you love in such a horrible situation, making her relive her worst trauma and threatening to kill her on the very spot she lost her parents was not even an emotional abuse, it was an emotional torture and given the fact he was the one who saved her made this experience even more painful for Elena and shattered the trust she had for him in to billions pieces. He could have chosen any other place, but he specifically chose Wickery bridge to torment her and it was completely calculated and planed out, it wasn’t something that he did at the span of a moment or out of hurt, he simply chose to butcher Elena’s love for him to get his revenge. He said that “destroying Klaus is all I have left“ But is that really true? It’s not like that he is the man who’s left with nothing and no one to care about him so he has no other option but to get revenge, he still has Damon and Elena, just like Elena said he still had Elena because even after everything he’s done, she never gave up on him, she was still fighting for him, so it wasn’t like that there was no love option for him to choose from, he could’ve chosen to come back to her and Damon and they would accept him with open arms but instead he chose this. Klaus couldn’t take love away from him, it’s himself who is literally killing love to get what he wants, so if it’s not love that Stefan is talking about so what he means when he said klaus took everything from him? Why is he so angry with Klaus? Yes part of the reason is because of how he made him do what he did and triggered the ripper side of him but there is a deeper reason, one of the most important thing to Stefan is his reputation, as someone who was always the chosen one, his parents preferred him, all the girls always chose him, he can’t stand the idea of not being on the spot light anymore, and he thinks Klaus destroyed that, every thing he managed to keep from others specially from his inner circle is right out in the open after what Klaus did to him, specially after forcing him to turn off his humanity. Stefan feels like he lost his reputation as a “good brother” and that means he lost every thing. One of Stefan’s weakness is that he can’t accept himself as a whole, he doesn’t wanna accept his flaws and his darkness so he feels like others will not accept that part of him as well, that’s why he tries so hard to hide them from people around him because he thinks people are gonna stop loving him if they discovered that part of him because he himself can’t love himself as a whole and by hiding his darkness he can keep pretending that side of him never existed. Revenge is never the answer, it’s not worth destroying love for it. He needs to Learn the value of love so he needed to make this mistake and be faced with the consequences of his choices and learned his lessons the hard way.
Stefan went to far when he threatened to drive Elena off the bridge. I wish Stelena had ended right here. It’s none of Bonnie’s business that Damon compelled Jeremy to leave. She didn’t see what he did to the hybrid.

At the beginning of Stefan and Elena relationship, Stefan hid so many thing from Elena and it was always Elena herself who discovered new things about him every time and Stefan himself never told her anything about himself. So even if it looks like on the surface that those lies were insignificant at the moment and they were able to form a relationship any way but How long the truth could stay hidden? What she really knew about him?
So now in this season, all the lies and every thing he hid from Elena is coming to the surface, showing Elena what this relationship is really built on. How could you trust the guy when you don’t know any thing about him? or worse, who you thought you know but now everything is crystal clear that you don’t and you only knew half of the story? Some one who you thought that would never hurt you is now hurting you the most.
She is beginning to realise that every thing she thought she knew about him was not completely true and the idea that she created about him in her head was not the real Stefan. She's realising that she was building her home on the water, maybe the bond that they have with each other is not that strong because the materials used for that bond weren't that strong either. The relationship was built on lies and manipulation so there was never any real trust between them, it was always the illusion of trust but never the real deal.

What’s really happening here with Stefan??
Stefan got his humanity back 2 episodes ago but just like what Damon said it’s on a dimmer switch. Stefan couldn’t have been able to physically do what he is doing now if he hadn’t let himself care, rage is also an emotion, Stefan is focusing all of his emotions on to rage and he’s pushing all of his other feelings away so he wouldn’t have to deal with them at the moment . Choices of the characters are very important in this show so what is he gonna choose to do now?
By allowing rage in and not other positive emotions like love, he is literally choosing revenge over love, what Stefan chose to do in this episode is horrible! Putting the girl you love in such a horrible situation, making her relive her worst trauma and threatening to kill her on the very spot she lost her parents was not even an emotional abuse, it was an emotional torture and given the fact he was the one who saved her made this experience even more painful for Elena and shattered the trust she had for him in to billions pieces. He could have chosen any other place, but he specifically chose Wickery bridge to torment her and it was completely calculated and planed out, it wasn’t something that he did at the span of a moment or out of hurt, he simply chose to butcher Elena’s love for him to get his revenge.
He said that “destroying Klaus is all I have left“
But is that really true? It’s not like that he is the man who’s left with nothing and no one to care about him so he has no other option but to get revenge, he still has Damon and Elena, just like Elena said he still had Elena because even after everything he’s done, she never gave up on him, she was still fighting for him, so it wasn’t like that there was no love option for him to choose from, he could’ve chosen to come back to her and Damon and they would accept him with open arms but instead he chose this.
Klaus couldn’t take love away from him, it’s himself who is literally killing love to get what he wants, so if it’s not love that Stefan is talking about so what he means when he said klaus took everything from him? Why is he so angry with Klaus?
Yes part of the reason is because of how he made him do what he did and triggered the ripper side of him but there is a deeper reason, one of the most important thing to Stefan is his reputation, as someone who was always the chosen one, his parents preferred him, all the girls always chose him, he can’t stand the idea of not being on the spot light anymore, and he thinks Klaus destroyed that, every thing he managed to keep from others specially from his inner circle is right out in the open after what Klaus did to him, specially after forcing him to turn off his humanity. Stefan feels like he lost his reputation as a “good brother” and that means he lost every thing.
One of Stefan’s weakness is that he can’t accept himself as a whole, he doesn’t wanna accept his flaws and his darkness so he feels like others will not accept that part of him as well, that’s why he tries so hard to hide them from people around him because he thinks people are gonna stop loving him if they discovered that part of him because he himself can’t love himself as a whole and by hiding his darkness he can keep pretending that side of him never existed.
Revenge is never the answer, it’s not worth destroying love for it. He needs to Learn the value of love so he needed to make this mistake and be faced with the consequences of his choices and learned his lessons the hard way.
Stefan went to far when he threatened to drive Elena off the bridge. I wish Stelena had ended right here. It’s none of Bonnie’s business that Damon compelled Jeremy to leave. She didn’t see what he did to the hybrid.
Stefan was out of line for doing that to Elena. I hate him this episode
