Bravo John! That’s exactly what I was hoping it can do and now you showed me how to do it! I love the tips about the shortcut keys as well. And while talking about Shortcuts with the latest version somehow my shift + A does not start the audio stretch for some reason.
Cheers Nick, hope it helps you. Shift + A has now been assigned to the new Select All Backward but you can re-assign it back to Audio Stretch like I did with my 2 keyboard shortcuts. You will find the Audio Stretch Keyboard shortcut under File -Keyboard Shortcuts - Tools - then search for the word Audio. Let me know if you can't find it. 👍
Awesome tips John. A feature or setting I find for me to speed up my Editing, I do not see on the Trial version as I try to learn (turn off), Tranistions, I like doing a simple crossfade, In Magix 2023, I simply drag the clip over and my crossfade is made in one step, FAST, PowerDirector I simply drag the same but prompt with four choices, hit crossfade done, Filmora its not happening as I must each and every time, go to the transitions tab and take additional steps. I am looking to make my work easier with Tips like that, the two you offered are Excellent tips, the only downside is I use crossfades, unless I just do Cuts then I may say YES, hope I was clear, I asked the best person I know while Filmora could not understand. thanks for your time FISH great work again. Free version does not offer the most but at least I can have fun using it
Hi Fishycomics, thanks for the lovely comments and for watching my vids, it really is appreciated. 👍 You are correct, the only way to crossfade in Filmora is by using a transition. I also used to use Magix and I also miss that 'drag over' feature. So no quick shortcut for that one unfortunately.
@@funwithfilmora thank you, problem solved. sometimes the answers are right in front of us; add the transition in, highlight all and paste, Yes Magix is powerfull but old fashion no modern flashy things Lol. thanks again
@@fishycomics well done! I didn't realise you wanted to add them to multiple clips. You can also add one transition then right click and 'add or apply to all'
@@funwithfilmora Iwanted to do one at a time but not head back each time to the transition room, just an added step, I have to tell myself its okay fish you get used to going a step backwards and two forward all good
That's class John ! Thanks a million for sharing 👍
Cheers Fintan. They are very handy to know. Thanks for the comment and for watching my vids and your support. It's much appreciated 👍
