@@Jsleeze9951 Use Glide64 to extract and load textures., edit them and load them. You can find many tutorial to how to edit texture on n64 games on Project 64
so wierd, they manage to program 12 more characters, not just a texture swap, animations portrait and all that, but cant scale a sound effect from 44hz to 22hz properly, why is that even hard!, ive done it once messing around and I think I used a freeware program and thats it

Some of these characters, mainly link Samus and Sonic, could really use brighter colors. They've got that nasty brawl Darkness to them. Also what's up with the high pitched voices on some characters? Out of all of these really, I would only want banjo. But he's got to have the backpack.

Also, you have to deal with the issue that playsound function typically takes sound effects and changes the pitch. For example, in SM64, camera turn, coin, goomba alert, and many other sounds are shared by the same file, with just different pitches or effects. This hack is impressive as it is, expanding the character slots with custom code, so i wouldn't complain too much.
Oh and don't forget, you cannot import sounds bigger than the original ones. If you do, they will either get cut off early (if you expand the soundbank) or overwrite sounds which makes the sound in the rom die inside

waluigi's render looks alot like the original n64 renders, atleast the shading looks very close, maybe a little to dark but I could picture him in the real game that way, only the wheels dont look quite like the original
They Need to do a Remake of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo Switch and add more Characters Just like this. Mario Kart 64 is my most Favorite Mario Kart Game out of the entire Series!! :)

Its very easy to mod actually, they are just sprites textures. But its long because there is tons of texture for each characters
