I became addicted to this style several months ago. I made 15 with all the same image, different colors on each image. Some were in rainbow color, some just light to dark juxtaposition. Stellar card. Very clear and pragmatic instruction.
I've seen a few videos on the wave card and this is the only one that is explained so easy and clearly. I am in the process of folding now. Thank you so much. Deb
A cool card fold. Definitely going to try this one out. I also thought if you made the length of the strips shorter the cats and balloons would have fitted better. You would have to shorten them for smaller cards too.
Hi Wendy! Adorable card! I have 5 grandkids and my mind is racing to think of a theme for each of their next birthday cards ! I subscribed. Let’s stay in touch. Ok?
@@villagecardandcrafts uve posted a couple if my kinetic cards and some easter boxes i made for my granddaughters - all just a bit of fun x Have a lovely day and i will look forward to more on You Tube from you x
I’ve been wanting to do one of these cards. Most I;ve sen have been the standard 4.25 x 5.5 but I wanted something a little larger, as yours is. Would it have been possible for you to make a 6 x 6 card and keep your cat mechanism the same? That way nothing would have “stuck out” the top. ❤️
It’s certainly possible to make a different sized card. If not made a 6x6 however, you could make the mechism and see if the pieces need to be smaller or not. Playing with size of the paper strips shouldn’t be too difficult.
Would have been a great video, but for the deaf it's impossible. You gave on screen measurements of 4, 8, 8.75, and 9.50 and then you made more scoring. Unfortunately, those were provided on screen.
I'm sorry you found the video difficult to follow. I began with a piece of card stock for the mechanism that was 8"x10". On the 10" side I scored at 4, 8, 8.75, and 9.5. On a trimmer with the 8" side against the top cut into eight 1" strips. The card base was 5x7" I hope that helps. Thank you for watching.
You can turn on closed captioning on UA-cam. I am sure you know there is a 'cc' in a little box and just tapping it turns it on. I hope this helps! Good Luck. ❤
I am well aware of that. Problem is that the captioning is missing information. Captioning is not perfect. I'm sorry you don't know the problems the deaf & hard of hearing population face daily.
I hope you found the measurements I listed above helpful. I’m sorry you face difficulty daily. I do, too; just in a different way. You see, my vision is horrendous (legally blind - correctable for a short time) but my hearing is outstanding. One sense took over for the other. In fact, I can’t stand to wake up without my glasses so I sleep with them on. Glasses correct to about 20/40 for a few weeks, but that’s about it. Then I’m back to putting paper to nose in order to see. We all struggle in one way or another. If you have further questions about my projects, just drop me a comment and I’ll try to answer the best I can. Happy weekend!
