Our Hardest Job Ever: I nearly Killed one of my Employees

- This is probably the hardest job we have ever done. There was a massive amount of rubbish to be removed from this very steep property. The house was undergoing a complete renovation in preparation for the property to be sold, and we were hired to clean up all the mess, mostly outside, but quite a bit inside as well. The transformation is amazing, so watch until the end. The job was done over a day and a half, there were about 7 loads to the tip and around 3 tonnes of material all up were taken out. We took out a lot of timber & wood, a few electrical appliances, building material and heaps of odds and ends. We did keep some larger, nicer timber, but unfortunately most went to the tip. Also, we didn't reverse the trailer down the drive because it was much too steep. This is part 1 of 3.
Part 02: • Welcome to the Jungle ...
Part 03: • 3rd Time Lucky | Retur...

FAQ's:
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless! - Розваги
My dad passed away 4 years ago. Last year I finally tackled his "I am going to get to it someday' piles around his shop. It was in the front, on the side, in the back and then I moved inside his shop. I worked on it for 2 and a half months. 5 trips to the scrap metal yard later it is like it never was there. You all did a great job!!! It's always nice to see your accomplishments at the end.
My parents have driveways like that. Absolute nightmare. What ever you guys were paid, you earned every cent and then some. Great job.
Thank you :)
I sincerely hope you gentlemen were paid WELL for that cleanup. The transformation of that property was amazing to watch. Thank you for posting it!
Thank you :)
Ik l hope so 2
That is a lot of hard labor. It was going up and down those steps and that substantial hill. Walking up and down that hill is not a joke.
What I was thinking also. That’s a weeks work in that one job. Fantastic job guys. Welldone
Omg I felt so bad for both of you going up and down that very steep driveway. Your legs had to be hurting the next day. You did excellent work. The contractor doing the renovation should have been responsible for clearing away all that debris. Great job both of you!
I'm sure the views must be amazing from the property but no one could ever pay me enough to want to have to go up and down that drive in my car every day! Great job on your part.
I thought the same, going down would be bad enough but to have to back out of there no thanks.
Especially when/if it gets icy
Why in the hell didn’t they back the trailer down the driveway so they didn’t have to haul stuff up and down
@@maninthezoo didn't you not notice how steep the driveway is. If they would've back the trailer down the driveway and filled it up, they would've not gotten it back up and out of the driveway
Wow that was a lot stuff for a standard price. Double or triple the fee won't hurt the homeowner's pocket. Take care guys. You are loved..
Great and well done job gentlemen! I can imagine the back and legs tiredness walking up and down those flights of steps and uphill to your truck! May God bless both of you with strength and wisdom and protection as you embark on each cleaning and clearing jobs!
An Epsom salt soaking bath to revive you guys was very much needed to take out the stress on your aching muscles . I have leg issues and I'm hurting watching you guys. Take the bath it will help promise.
Bless you and your kind words ❤️
This job must’ve cost a fortune! This is REAL MEN AT WORK!!! I’m amazed and impressed! You guys are my heroes!!! 👍👍❤️❤️
I have never seen such a meticulous clean up on a job this big. Just amazing. I am amazed you both could walk after working that hard.
The guy in the shorts is not afraid of work. He did a great job with all that carrying up the hill that he did.👍
My lord, what a steep incline and GREAT work ethic you guys have. I would get a sturdy golf bag carrier and strap on that trash can so you can wheel it to the truck. I made one for gardening and it saves me from carrying it. I live in Ohio. I took a washing machine to the curb and before I reached my front door some guy pulled in to take it. I said I had a dryer, fridge and stove. They all worked but I got all new. He was floored and took them all. People recycle big time around here. I put a hot water tank outside and It was gone in 10 minutes.
people usually hire a skip to dump their bulky rubbish in. You guys are heroes for doing these kinds of jobs, and for free. This is not even what you would call gardening but rubbish removal.
You guys are worth every cent you are paid .
Great Jobs, Guys. Must have the stamina and some good strong legs to go up and down the slope
Liked the shadow of your camera or cell phone mounted on tripod.
and the fact you have to lean someway the whole day to stay balanced..respect from Denmark
I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ how much you’s guy’s got paid 💰 but probably not enough. I’m going ouch 🤕 my aching body 💪🏻 🦵🏻 watching your video. It looked like a 💣 site 👍🏻 😊 😓
This job gives new meeting to the question “how do you eat an elephant?” I had many questions watching this like, why did they not bring in a dumpster? And why didn’t you bring your truck down the driveway. But I understood the challenge it would’ve brought if you had and you would’ve if you could’ve. Amazing cleanup! I’m sore watching you work!
One bite at a time. Just hafta keep biting.
Mannnnn you guys know how to find these places. Well done!
Hahaha, i know, they keep coming through :D
THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! I used to
Do this with my dad and we spent many long days doing this. Thank you for posting this, it brought back very fond memories of me and my dad. He passed in 2018, so it touched me right here in the heart.
You two guys are worth your weight in gold, that was incredible how much stuff you two had to move let alone going up & down that steep incline.....
Job well done.....
I got tired even wathing it! Respect!
Whatever you got paid I would've added $500 to it off the books. Massive job and worthy of a big bonus. Well done!
A thumbs up purely for the blood and guts effort you guys put in, my knees went out in sumpathy
That hill was a beast!! LOL! This work out was a great prep training to climb Mt. Everest!
End result was so satisfying! A+
lol, you're not wrong, thank you :)
Wow! Great job guys!!!
How strong you must be to do that type of work.😊
Thank you 😌
Backing the trailer down the driveway might have helped. Unless you like the extra work
Mammoth task for just 2 of you! My back aching just watching. Well done, great result
This place was a landfill. OUTSTANDING!!! Great transformation. Amazing job, mates!!
Thanks mate 😃
That driveway looks like a nightmare. Would hate to live there. Incredible work! My hamstrings and calves hurt just watching you guys do all of that up and down the stairs and driveway. That side yard was....😮Wonder if they were getting water in the house through the garage doors. Aww the doggy was huge and cute. haha
No constant talking...you get right to it!! Great job guys..looks amazing!!
Cheers 😊
Seriously .. this is an AMAZING transformation .. thank you both .. I love watching your work in fast motion. it is so relaxing
Thank you 🙂
Вы просто герои!!!
How many times did you actually go up and down that driveway? My legs hurt just watching. Especially the guy in shorts!!! BRAVO to both of you!!!!! I couldn't have made it up or down that driveway. If I went paramedics would have to called to get me up! :D!!!!
Too many to count. Yes, my offsider did most of the heavy lifting on this one, but he gets paid well :D
@@QuickCuts 😂 thank goodness

Wonderful job! It made me tired just watching you work! It's so great that there are people like you out there to help home owners take care of their property without judgment. Well Done, You!
I have nothing but complete admiration for the work you do, and I find it so therapeutic to watch your vids..I have long term depression and just love to chill out watching they really relax me!!
Imagine coming home when driveway is wet and getting down hill to the garage, hope their brakes work well.
I live in a climate that has freezing winters and I know some people have driveways like this one here - imagine trying to go up or down if it's snowy or covered in ice!
@@Ragnar8504 haha homeowners insurance never looked so good until you have to drive down a driveway like this in snow & ice. Lol no Thx! I’m from N.O, Louisiana. We don’t really have steep drives, or really any hilly area’s like this at all. It’s mostly flat. Maybe a small incline or decline, but def NOTHING like this.... nor do have snow, for that matter! Haha! So, yea, I can’t even imagine what it would be like at all. SMH. Scary.
You guys know how to hustle!!! I do hope you were compensated well for all of your hard work!! Thank You for sharing this with us!!
Dois guerreiros , só de ver o entulho já sinto -me desanimada . Parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎇
i got give you guys a lot of credit, that was a good job
That certainly goes way beyond mowing & garden care!!
This job would have been cheap to the homeowners at double the price. Lots of hard work on a mountain side. Great job guys!
I can’t believe you guys tackled this alone!!!!! That is incredible dedication.
All I could see was what that wood could have been made in to, but you guys can really move fast. 😄 nice job
I hope y'all got paid well!! This job is extreme to go up and down that hill with so much garbage!!! Great job!!
Immense effort and work ethic.
I'm really impressed watching this and you earned every penny.
Wow what an amazing transformation. Great job. Loving your videos and great content every time.
You guys did an incredible job! That kind of work is super hard and that driveway definitely added a challenge! Great work!
I can’t imagine how sore their muscles are after going up and down the stairs and steep driveway, not to mention their knees! I would never buy a house on a hill with such a steep driveway. Bravo guys, good job.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That was impressive work there gentlemen. What a transformation!
Whatever they paid you for that job... it wasn't enough. Great job guys.
OMG What a job. Congrats to you both. I love work and can watch others doing it all day. 😀👍🏻
You guys make a great team!! And that homeowner didn't pay you enough!! Great work!!
Boy Mate- what a stirling job you guys did! I kept wondering how your legs were holding up! Kudos to you both for an enormous job. Well done. Take care and stay well!!
What I admire most about your video's is your work ethic for a boss, you work as hard as your employee.
Method, organization and effort, congratulations!
Yikes!!! What an extraordinary job, you make a fabulous team. While thinking about the physical effort you put in, I was also thinking of the guys who built it in the first place. People like you - salt of the earth.
The very definition of an uphill battle, well done!
They could have ATLEAST got you a dumpster! Great job guys!
Oh my! Great job. My legs & back hurt just from watching this job. Amazing
My legs were aching just watching the number of trips up and down and up and down. What a job. My original thought was why in the world did they build a house on such a steep grade.
You did a marvelous job and thanks for sharing
After watching this....I need a nap. You guys are amazing. I hope one of the neighbors stopped by with fresh baked cookies for you. ;-)
This made me giggle out loud. 😄
I needed a nap b4 I watched this @ 3:30am (I'm in Eastern Australia). I am a night owl because my chronic pain only gets really bad at night. I do my housework at night, all except the noise vacuum and washing in my machine. Now I'm off to wash up my dishes and have a cuppa. Blessings, Dot
I meant noisy vacuum and using my washing machine because it could wake up my neighbours who work during the day
That's a beautiful house and a more beautiful view, from the top! What a massive job. Loved the music.
This owner who demo's like that? I would never buy a house on that steep of incline! You improved and brought back a lot of the appeal to sell this property. You and your crew deserve a HUGE payday.
Great job. You guys are awesome! I couldn’t imagine having a driveway that steep. Imagine pulling out of the garage with a 5 speed. I used to avoid little hills with a 5 speed.
Could burn out a clutch quite easily if you aren't careful. I'd be more worried about inclement weather though.
I can only imagine how sore the both of you were after cleaning up that monster mess. That house is going to be amazing!
That was amazing!!!! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for making another place better!
I love, love, love these types of videos. Making things tidy from the chaos. You guys must have muscles of steel though!
You two got a real work out! I hope that cute floofy dog wasn’t all by itself. Those homes and hills look similar to the homes on the California coast and a lot of steep driveways. Hope no one’s car brakes ever go out! Lol 😉
Omg that was unbelievable. Congrats guys.🤗
Wow! What a miraculous transformation. You guys are amazing!!,
Talk about an "uphill battle"
Just found this channel and I keep on watching this. :D I wanna scream whenever there is a cupboard etc. which could be fixed up for resell... ahhhh... my poverty heart bleeds when I see potential wasted!
And I agree with you. All the doors and wood could be repurposed. One man's trash is another man's treasure!
Can yu get money for big particle board like that? Maybe even for small wood scrap? Not like i know...but nowadays? Wow
hmmm, well down here Australia there just isn't a market for old stuff that's been out in the weather. I asked the guys up at the second hand reuses shop and they said they were not interested so it goes on the tip unfortunately....
Wow, that was a very hard job right there. Going up and down those steps, carrying all that stuff. Good job guys. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏾
At some point, I would have been crying like a baby. Excellent Job and teamwork.
That was a great hard work. Hope yiu invoiced a big amount for this. Maybe the trees in front need cuttin as well...???
Wow! very steep. A good strong rain would fill up the back of the house with water.
Did you see the French drains in front of the garage? That should catch most of it, i hope.
I like watching you guys as you do everything!
Lots of hard work. Great job guys
Everything but the kitchen sink - oh, wait - I think I saw one of those right at the end.
hahaha, there was 😁😁😁
Awesome work. That was a tough job. You must have been tired at the end!
Krikie‼️ HUGE respect for you guys…HARD work‼️👍🏻
You guys do excellent work I enjoy watchimg you all thanks for sharing!
Epic, that's like mountain climbing...👍.
Good job mate
Cheers 🙂
No gym needed for you guys! You worked so hard on this job and the result is amazing!!! You are both definitely worth your weight in gold! You must be proud of yourselves. Well done you. 👍👏👌👋🌲😍🇬🇧
Thank you so much!!
What a work out running up and down that hill! Amazing!
This is one of those "how do you eat an elephant one bite at a time " stories.
Great job ! I sooo wanted you to cut those stumps 😃🌻
What a job! Great work!
Looks great. Job well done!
That was body breaking work! Up and down those hills with all that heavy stuff. I know you hurt the next day. Also the dog was beautiful!
Good work. Its the type of job that would blow the arse ring out of most blokes.
I so applaud you and your crew having to work on an incline the whole time looks so back-breaking
Wow! You both really got a serious workout on this job!!!!!
When I saw the junk from interior fix up I would have just walked away.
I’ve always heard that cameras can’t show how steep a hill is…. That looks steep.
Lol 😯 jeez I really hope that’s not the case Bc, you’re absolutely right, it def looks steep. 😂
it was totally clean and ventilated.Very good.Congratulations!
Whatever you were paid it wasn’t enough. You guys are machines!!!! Phenomenal job.
Imagine what you could have hauled in the wheelbarrow, you moved a half dozen times.
Imagine that you hauling full wheelbarrow up to the hill...
Then imagine trying to haul the full wheelbarrow up stairs first....
Müllcontainer wäre perfekt gewesen 😅
Ummmm why didn’t u use the wheelbarrow that was just sitting there?????
Not questioning the effort, but hauling debris one bucket at a time is really quite silly.
Too steep for a barrow
You guys did an amazing clean up job!
I cannot believe you guys did this! What a huge job!
