Mine came in today, and it's super cool. The Glydelock is an interesting mechanism how it interacts with the blade deployment, and also closing the knife.While closing, if you release the lock before it closes it will brake (slow down/stop) the blade, like a half stop. Really love this knife. For what it's worth, I have no issues on the reverse flick.

Would you recomend the penguin button lock or this vault glyde lock for a first knife? Or is it more just peraonal preference?@BigRedEDC
@Org80 it really does come down to preference but you can't go wrong either way

@@Org80just FYI, crossbar locks are generally considered one of the strongest locking mechanisms, whereas plunge (button) locks are generally the weakest. I have no problems out of my CJRB Pyrite Light button lock
