Live at the Jazz Standard, June 16th, 2009. Marian Petrescu (piano), Andreas Öberg (guitar), David Finck (bass), Mark McLean (drums). www.ResonanceRe...
the whole first part of his solo is him plucking pitch harmonics like a boss then he shreds it up soulful as hell......this man is the best jazz guitarist in the world hands down.... mass respect
@tqla255 i think you've misunderstood. low-tech refers to low technology. Jazz players don't need much more than a guitar and something to amp it. My comment was meant to be a compliment. And I'm aware of the many greats and their technique ;-) peace
@sachary so george benson ,pat martino , pat metheny are low tech players ?! they got the best technique but they pay more attention to the phrases and music they make then how fast they can play.
@terrorist951 I think you're trying to make a joke :-p BTW it's not Andreas' piece... little somebody called Miles Davis. Anyways, personally i like his tone here more than some of his other vids. But he could play out of a Crate amp and the piece would still be great. Jazz guitarists are low tech players man :-)
I can't understand or believe that this immense talent left the jazz world for childish K-Pop , umh - he's no longer an artist just another pimp out for the big bucks. Goodbye Andreas.
except for a few it's tough making a decent living playing jazz even for many of the best ... others turn to teaching ... maybe he hasn't totally left the jazz world just opened up his horizon a bit
@@lincolnrossmusic Yes, need 2 make a living. His jazz/playing skills won't go away! I'll be keeping an eye on him 2 return in the next 5 years after he's made his fortune in K-pop.

Marian is the best.
Beautiful!
Wow😬 awesome.!
So rich! BEUTIFUL! Thanks so much for this!
Well... Bill (Evans), Miles (Davis) et al. own this piece. Nevertheless, a good cover by Andreas and Marian. Thanks.
Fantastic!
Actually, Bill Evans wrote it for Miles. Miles could never have written this. Great version!

Неимоверно круто!!!
l'autore di "Blue in green" è Bill Evans e non Miles Davis.
Is there any footage of this band playing Mr PC? Thanks
nice to see bass playing boticini most play dragonnety lovelely stuff excuse the spelling its bin a while lol
That was pretty amazing. Not the best version of the piece (that's still in Bill Evans' hands), but still pretty darn amazing.
