    Great job Rod.
I'm looking forward to listening to it when we get back from holidays.
I promise to remove cobwebs more diligently in future😀.
    Paul.

Another interesting Philips! I was thinking of adding a Bluetooth module to the Nordmende I’m currently working on.
I also have a Philips model 147 in the shed awaiting my attention. It is an Australian assembled radio, I think, and being for the Australian market it doesn’t have FM as there was no commercial FM broadcast in Australia until around 1980. It has 3 speakers, driven by a pair of 6M5’s in push pull configuration.
I’ve been putting it off as the cabinet is in terrible shape and will need a lot of work. It would also be an ideal candidate for Bluetooth.
    Cheers

Nice job, radio looks really well. I will have to try the bluetooth output mod to boost the sound level. Without boosting it's OK but if you forget to turn it down before switching back to radio it could damage the speakers (or my ears).

I like Philips in general-but they never believed in the simple and straightforward solution to a problem, be it mechanical or electronic!
