beautiful ! my budgie sits on my laptop and chats along to this, pecking at the screen and bouncing on the keys !! sometimes he hits the pause key and runs around the back of it chirping happily !!
I got a new budgie today and have this on with other background noise to make him more comfortable. He's been replying every now and then so I think he likes it. Thanks for uploading. :)
My 3 budgies, Snowflake, Sky, and dandelion (Dan for short lol) absolutely loved this! Snow and sky tend to be screechers, so hearing this they've learned to tone it down a bit lol... When they start all I have to do is play this and they sing along :)
My not quite tame female parakeet loves this. She's taking her time adjusting to me. I've hand tamed two female parakeets way back when. Those two took about 2 days. I've had Olive for about one month. We're moving slowly for some reason.
Never thought I'd spend an evening listening to a recording of a budgie singing. This is so pleasant to listen to and much more entertaining than anything on TV. Did your budgie actually sing for three consecutive hours or is this a loop?

I think..people kill for sport or to satisfy their sick nature (like serial killers) That's why, to me, animals are the BEST creation on this planet! Animals kill to eat and when they're scared .. of humans, mainly!!
Mostly becuase so we can eat and survive, if you don't get your meats you can get really sick. As a hunter I bring back my killed prey so my family can have a great meal, but some also do it for a living or survival.
The bible never said do not kill animals!The Israelites had to "offer an animal from the herd that was without defect" Leviticus 1:3 tells us. What the bible dos say is thou shall not murder.Killing animals and murdering an human is two different things. The animals offered to the lord was normally a young bull or a sheep/lamb.God loves all his creatures but allows them to give their life to others for food.

my two budgies do a lot of screaming, probably because they didn't learn any better. They love this video. They get so happy and then calm and happy again. I think it's helping with their aggression! :D
They were a couple of months old when I got them. The person who had them before had them in a small cage so I put them in a much bigger cage with lots of extra toys and even a bath! They are pretty loud making the ch-ch-ch-ch sounds. They love each other and preen each other and play together but sometimes they get into what I call "the beak wars" and then one of them ends up falling to the bottom of the cage. It seems a little dramatic to me. I've never seen two budgies bicker like they do.
Lucy lost her best friend Alice was a week ago Thursday so I found this and play it everyday for her. I thought she needed something to help her get through her grief, and it has she perks up and talks back to the computer. It is truly amazing at how they express themselves. I thank you so does Lucy.
I rescued my budgie a few months back as a stupid evil cat from next door tried to eat it in front of my house, it was raining and it couldn't fly so I took it in and gave him a big cage, seeds and water. At the beginning the budgie didn't play with me but now we are like best friends and are inseparable. I thank videos like this for helping us bond and for getting the bird used to living in a house and not feeling lonely.

Rip Herbie. We had a budgie and she could bark like a dog and whistle the Andy Griffith tune and have long talks with other birds that fly near the window. I miss that little bird. They are really intelligent birds.
I have 2 of them. And I have 3 ctas. I am training all of them to get along. So far so good, but I am still not leaving them alone in the same room together. My kitten loves them though and rubs on them with hugs and sleeps with them every night. It is so cute to see different species getting along. When I am working I play this for them so they don't feel so alone as the only birds in the house. They love it.

I tried some other sites with budgie sounds, and my birds seemed to be happy and excited. With this one my Coco and Kiki are both listening in the cage, but more quietly. I think they like it--and it soothes them. Coco is now making similar sounds, but low key
That is sad, it's never easy to lose a budgie. but yea you should get her another friend or mate. Budgies are flock birds and it's not ideal having them on their own. My own female almost went neurotic before we got her a friend.

Shortly after our last bird died, one of mom's co-workers convinced her to adopt one of the kittens that he couldn't take care of. Runt of the litter--just like me--and we get along like peas in a pod.
Just got a budgie last night...my other one lived 10 years, and my cockatiel is completely depressed.....this new little guy won't move in his cage..I'm hoping he's not too far in shock....trying to get at the speakers....this is how my old budgie used to chitter....
My bird lost her mate and has been silent since, about a month. I played her this, and she finally started murdering a little! Whatever they are s a saying must have helped. She seems comforted. Zeus is the most vocal I've heard since I've owned him (two weeks now) So glad I found this. Only question is this, he seems to get hyper while I'm playing this, he starts jumping and fluttering around in his cage, is this alright or am I just stirring him up. I don't want to be doing something that might be hurting or bothering him.

Guys,a female budgie can talk it just takes pactience because female budgies tend to be more aggressive that male budgies,thus making it easier to teach male budgies other than female budgies
