Funniest comment Richard made was on ‘the innocent men’ episode all he said was… ‘it will of already happened’… but the timing and delivery made me laugh so much
Riho VS Yuka was indeed amazing, and there was a reference as Jack called for it. Riho was wearing black for the first time I've ever seen her, but she was still a smiling babyface ! It was indeed good to see them both, great chemistry and awesome match !
I fully agree with Ross as far as NXT is concerned. I was completely phased out after the rebrand and only watched a full episode again because of how hyped up he was and I totally get it. Somehow they made it so stupid they circled around and found the perfect sweet spot between great in-ring action and utter and complete insanity. Like, a single NXT segment on an otherwise normal show would be nothing but cringe, but if _everything_ is just as insane, all the time, pedal to the metal all the way, it somehow works. Absolutely glorious nonsense and I'm loving every second of it.
Convenient you mention Joseph conners, I found out he's a regular wrestling for my local indie promotion nearly every month - genuinely gonna go just to see him do his thing in person in cleethorpes 😂
Alright been a bunch of weeks but I have to say, you gotta love cultaholic jack, he is so much more relaxed and is clearly enjoying himself more and then with new series he has come into his own, it makes me happy after all these years of watching him.
NXT 2.0 has absolutely become the highlight of the podcast now, I'm always looking forward to their review of of it! The VAR bit in particular was priceless
Great to hear a Willow shoutout! It has closed now unfortunately, I went to uni at York and it closed the summer before my fresher's week. I never got to experience it but heard some amazing stories from various friends in the years above
BTW Jack, I live in york and the Willow was legendary. It was a crap Chinese buffet that turned into a crappy nightclub late at night. It was one of the few places that stayed open late
I'll start by saying I only watch AEW as there's just too much wrestling in a week (which is great), but this week's Dynamite main event completely missed the mark for me. In my opinion Tony needs to stop booking RoH matches on AEW. It's different if it's an established AEW television name who holds another company's belt and defends against a wrestler, either AEW or otherwise who also fights for that promotion. I'm thinking Moxley defending the IWGP US title on dynamite against some of the NJPW guys, or against Archer. Or an established AEW TV name going against the champion of another company, eg. if they booked Brit to take on Martinez for the interim RoH title. But having the RoH Women's unification bout as the main event of Dynamite was just weird, shouldn't this be main eventing an RoH ppv or something? Not to mention that they have 2 AEW women's belts already which aren't getting enough airtime and then they're bringing in a third external belt. It just seems like a step too far. Then the men's title is being defended seemingly weekly and has an emerging feud storyline progressing. Imagine Impact having the Bucks vs FTR feud for the AAA titles randomly for several weeks, it's just out of place. The sooner RoH can get set up with it's own show and AEW can get back to AEW storylines, I think it will be better for it. We all know that AEW is crammed as it is, they try to put so much on a show. And this is not a dig at any of the wrestlers, I think Purrazzo is great, I thought they should have given her a shot at Brit for the title at some point, but as the guys said, she needs more build for anyone who has never seen her wrestle to get into her match. I also think Joe should be being built as an AEW competitor, right now it feels like he's on the RoH roster when he should feel like an AEW guy who happens to hold the RoH title. /rant over.
Sorry I don't normally comment as often as this, during Maffew's Hall of Fame pick they asked why had the Mascot been arrested. Maffew read out in his description that the mascot had been "jokingly arrested". 😆😆
I think Nese's involvement with HOOKhausen, sorta forced as it is, mainly stems from HOOK giving Danhausen attention for a match when HOOK blew off Tony Nese in an earlier promo that he and Mark Sterling interrupted.
The reason for the Butch Iceland clap in Paris is because the biggest french wrestling youtuber, Sturry from the channel "c'est ça le catch" ~80k subscribers, spent his last few videos telling his followers to start an iceland clap for Butch when WWE comes to Paris
I wasn’t sure for the last time they mentioned it, but I’m pretty sure the lads think Fallon Henley and Tatum Paxley are the same person. Unless it’s an ongoing joke I missed?
Cultaholic have done it. They've solved the riddle. WWE writers have mass Mandela effect! That's why we can never follow the stories and why they change week to week. I'm so glad I thought WWE was doing it on purpose 🤡
I remember this show, I used to watch it all the time, even though I stopped watching wrestling in 2018, and wrestling got so heinous and sometimes woke that it wasnt even worth hearing other people talking about. Wish you well tho!
Richard should have a mic, he gets asked questions enough it'd be nice to hear his response 😅
He’d take over the show like Nadav
Yes I fully agree with this. Especially as Ross has now mentioned agreeing with it.
Yes!!! Mic up Rich! Mic up Rich!
Funniest comment Richard made was on ‘the innocent men’ episode all he said was… ‘it will of already happened’… but the timing and delivery made me laugh so much
I think it would be great, but I'm nervous to mess with the perfect formula of Maff, Ross and Jack. 😬
Jack was on a roll this week with one liners the "oh no Ive affended all 20 of them" comment had me dying laughing. (1:54:25)
Jack's one-liners and the debate of "Did she or didn't she" just cracked me up! 🤣🤣🤣
This episode of the Cultaholic Podcast was great!
Riho VS Yuka was indeed amazing, and there was a reference as Jack called for it. Riho was wearing black for the first time I've ever seen her, but she was still a smiling babyface ! It was indeed good to see them both, great chemistry and awesome match !

That's called an abuse cycle my friend lol
Ross either has higher tolerance for nxt or he holds it to a lower standard. Ross rarely criticizes nxt heavily
Convenient you mention Joseph conners, I found out he's a regular wrestling for my local indie promotion nearly every month - genuinely gonna go just to see him do his thing in person in cleethorpes 😂

Maffew in the space of a week gone from American History X to Philadelphia
The excitement for indi and dull was crazy. They were so invested
Thanks for considering my mic suggestion from last week :) Keep up the good work!
The Indi/Duke VAR from the lads was mint
North Carolina representing here! I love Cultaholic and I've worked your morning news into my workout routine. ❤️👍
That’s an amazing Jerry Seinfeld impression Maffew
Maffew's been on a hot streak of HoF nominations, his weird animal/UK stories always crack me up!
As a long islander I can confirm it is a Long Island
I second that
Ross is my spirit animal. Hears something that you can't remember the details straight to Google. Regardless of anything else happen around
Right at lunchtime, perfect 🤘🏽
Great to hear a Willow shoutout! It has closed now unfortunately, I went to uni at York and it closed the summer before my fresher's week. I never got to experience it but heard some amazing stories from various friends in the years above
A lucha loser tournament where the final loser has to give up their mask is a fucking genious concept, I actually might give that a watch.
1:57:52 the most intense moment to ever happen on this podcast 🤣
2:22:43 Real move of the week. Also Jack was right on Chappelle being Reggie in Nutty Professor.
This podcast makes me tingle in my Reese's Pieces
As a Newcastle based listener, the conversation about the student flat situation and the metro system made me laugh
BTW Jack, I live in york and the Willow was legendary. It was a crap Chinese buffet that turned into a crappy nightclub late at night. It was one of the few places that stayed open late
Can confirm. Toby Tyke looks like that ALL THE TIME
Awesome Funny Wrestling Podcast Maffew Jack the Jobber Ross

Big shoutout to maffew for using my idea for the HOF
I watched Darby Allen get suplexed off the side of the ring🤣
Sorry I don't normally comment as often as this, during Maffew's Hall of Fame pick they asked why had the Mascot been arrested. Maffew read out in his description that the mascot had been "jokingly arrested". 😆😆
i just want someone to love me like the cultaholic podcast loves nxt 2.0
Three hours, this will almost take me to the end of my shift
There is literally a Cardiff Castle
Cardiff castle is about a quarter of a mile from the stadium
I popped for Whitehaven getting a mention on the podcast 🥳
Even if they are dirty jam eaters 😐
IMPACT’s Under Siege tonight is a cracking card. Also, Josh Alexander is a star
I think Nese's involvement with HOOKhausen, sorta forced as it is, mainly stems from HOOK giving Danhausen attention for a match when HOOK blew off Tony Nese in an earlier promo that he and Mark Sterling interrupted.
What was Richard's next big tip for the music world (around 2:11:05)? There was some laughter when Jack repeated it and I couldn't make it out
Cardiff does have a pretty big castle, they have concerts there regularly
Did jack ever do the laptop in the Restaurant punishment? Missed a few pods
No
It's turned into Sam eating his hat at this point
Great to see Toby on the podcast 😂 and we all look that unhappy in Barnsley having to watch that shite lose every week 😂
More IMPACT chat on the pod is needed
Nikkita Lyons was announced as a tournament participant. She is my prediction to win and eventually dethrone Mandy
Only Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins match . Hands down
Agreed

That's amazing, I really hope it sticks for him
any chance for a timestamp on the video for when they talk about it ?
The correct answers to who should face themselves is: NWO Hogan vs Hero Hogan & a Hardcore Triple Threat between; Dude Love, Cactus Jack and Mankind.
Hello all
Here we go!
The Island is Long. Thus, Long Island!
Omg Eid Mubarak !
Great podcast
I wasn’t sure for the last time they mentioned it, but I’m pretty sure the lads think Fallon Henley and Tatum Paxley are the same person. Unless it’s an ongoing joke I missed?
Lol I really like the titles of each show during This Week in Wrestling. 😅😅
The Fireman Sam Theme slaps btw
Rich does need his wrestling experience as well and especially Malcom biclv
I was expecting a much bigger pop from the guys over the NXT opening segment.
Lets go lads
Best podcast
Just read about Sheamus getting released as I started watching this. ☹️
Pretty sure your source is wrong, he was on smackdown tonight
Cultaholic have done it. They've solved the riddle. WWE writers have mass Mandela effect! That's why we can never follow the stories and why they change week to week. I'm so glad I thought WWE was doing it on purpose 🤡
Let’s go lads
CWP 3:19 says "I'm very lengthy"
Kramer is Hulk Hogan.
They both love racial slurs.
Mathew was right Indi wasn't going in for it
Aye up bonnie lads x
Ross just casually (unknowingly, of course) hoping for Lacey Evans to beat the shit out of her dead dad...
Did they even answer the big question?
I like this video
LIKE A GOOSE
Less than 3.5 hours, feel let down
Update: they did not change anything about the main event for Backlash! Garbage still
Noooo, not Vim! Don't buy his bullshit!
I remember this show, I used to watch it all the time, even though I stopped watching wrestling in 2018, and wrestling got so heinous and sometimes woke that it wasnt even worth hearing other people talking about. Wish you well tho!
