Sorry to hear. Bet you it had good bit of abuse before it gave up though. These things are quite robust. I do agree with you on a battery bump but the comfort it gives going wireless is great. Especially since it is not me that is going to use it. It would look strange to drag cable across living room.
Eds drafts I think I had it for around 2-3 years so it had a decent life, but as with any gamepad or mouse the sticks or buttons just give up after a while.

Didn't know this actually came with the wireless receiver nor did I know it supported 4 controllers, awesome, thanks for the info and unboxing.
my 360 pad just died today :'(. personally I cant stand the bump on the back of the controller so I use wired.
