TEASER - The Marischkas - Showbiz Made in Vienna

The Theatermuseum's annual exhibition 2023/24 is dedicated to one of Vienna's most amazing dynasties of artists: the Marischkas.
Thanks to the Sissi-Trilogy, Ernst Marischka (1893-1963) is anchored in Austria's collective memory to this day, and starting with him and his brother Hubert (1882-1959), Vienna’s Theatermuseum presents an exciting exhibition from 18 October 2023 onward, paying tribute to the family’s extensive artistic output for film, theatre, operetta, and revue.
For half a century, the Marischkas had a decisive influence on theater and film production - their family estate and the holdings of the Theatermuseum invite visitors to rediscover the illustrious œuvre of this extraordinary dynasty.
