    I'm a TUSA fan boy you can say. All my gear is by them since 1989. Wish I could see more UA-cam review like you do. Thank you for showing them the respect they deserve, after all they have been in the industry for a long time, if they wasn't they wouldn't still be around. I believe in them so much I just finished buying all new gear setup that along tells anyone how long I kept my older gear which is still in good working condition. Only reason I updated my gear now was because of the cool ass gear they have now that looks great and is still very reliable. I even got a new dive computer by shearwater which I love and a O'Neill HYPERFREAK dive dive suit. Now at 61 I can keep up with the kids next to me as far as style, which makes me feel younger again instead of looking like grandpa with my older gear. 🤣 I still own a Dacor Sv900 which has been very good with that I'll never give up. It was a shame that a good company like Decor closed they door back then, hopefully I won't get to see that ever happen TUSA. 🇺🇲👌🏼

      Yes, we agree. We will shortly have an interview with Roddy Winton. He is their top Rep and works directly with the president for about 40 years. It was an inciteful interview. Will be under our new heading Leviathan Scuba. Thanks for the comments.

    Excellent reviews on 5280's channel here. Not only lots of pertinent information but (what a lot of channels, even company channels lack) 5280 has a very good presenter.

    Thanks. Love you to rate a nautilus becon and klymit raft. Particularly practical condition limitations.
    Im new open water thinking of what happens if i get swept away from the boat or loose contact.

    Hows this compair to their tusa split fin. The zoom z3 by tusa. I ordered this and got the z3 instead. Should I just keep the z3 or return and get this fin like I ordered?

    • @coralkeyscuba
      @coralkeyscuba Рік тому

      Hey there Tyler. I love both. The Z3 is more performance oriented. More thrust and more efficient to use. It is heavier than the solla and a bit longer. Still fits in luggage no problem. I love the Solla as well and it performs great. You won't be disappointed with either choice. Thanks for watching, more to come soon. Freddy

    Are they as good as a split fin?

    • @LeviathanScuba
      @LeviathanScuba  5 років тому

      In our opinion, the Atomic Split Fin is the best fin out there. They push so much more water than a solid fin without making you work harder. This helps you conserve a lot of energy and stretch your air a lot longer. That being said, though, we have used this Tusa fin many times and would definitely recommend it as a very good and quality fin.

      @@LeviathanScuba thanks for the response...i was looking at these, or the Tusa hyflex vesna...what do you think?

    • @LeviathanScuba
      @LeviathanScuba  5 років тому

      @@xbpbat21x There are a few features that the Hyflex Vesna has that the Solla doesn't. The Vesna has an active pivoting system, which is a combination of uniquely positioned holes that reduce drag while maintaining constant propulsion. It also has a Direct Reflect material that provides high visibility in low light conditions.

    Can you use them in a dry suit?

    • @LeviathanScuba
      @LeviathanScuba  5 років тому

      Hey there! Yes, you can use these fins with a dry suit. You would, however, want to make sure you got the correct size if your dry suit has boots. This will usually be a different size than it would be with your normal dive booties.

    • @standishwheeler6767

      @@LeviathanScuba i wear a size 10 five ml boot what size fins would be best, also would a drysuit shoe size be simillar a wetsuit shoe size?

    • @LeviathanScuba
      @LeviathanScuba  5 років тому

      @@standishwheeler6767 It's hard to say a for sure size without trying them in person. All of the different brands of boots are going to be a little bit different. If I had to guess judging by the boots that I am carrying at the moment, I would say the fin would most likely be a Medium. Many times, dry suit boots are bigger than normal boots but not always. You would just have to see if they were the same measurements. If not, it is possible that you would have to have a pair of fins just for your dry suit. Hope that helps!

      @@LeviathanScuba thank you very much, would a medium size fin be good for my 5mm neoprene size 10 boot?

    • @LeviathanScuba
      @LeviathanScuba  5 років тому

      @@standishwheeler6767 Like I said before, all brands of boots are going to be different, even if they are 5mm. Some have thinner soles, some have thicker and bulkier ones, and sizes can also vary between brands. Because of this, I can only give you my guess that it would be the size medium. For you to get a definite answer, you would have to physically try the fins on with the boots you own. The two styles of 5mm boots that I sell fit in the size medium, but it is possible that some other 5mm boots would not.
