Not a very popular opinion but Whole Cake Island is definitely my favourite! I’m a huge Sanji fan and that whole arc seeing his family and finding out about his backstory was so incredible for me
Sanji is my favourite too that's why I was disappointed by him in that arc. What happened to Mr. Prince? To "bingo"? He definitely had more charm, charisma, and intelligent pre time-skip.
It also really revived his character's coolness and class given how much they had really ruined those traits of his character for many of the post time skip arcs.
Sanji fan too. It was such an emotionally driven arc as well. Both Sanji and Big Mom had some devastatingly dark backstories, the musical aspect was great, and I really loved Katakuri and Pudding. Let alone some amazing moments for Brook, Jimbe, and Carrot. So WCI is still my favorite
The arc was good, not going to like. However, I didn’t like how Sanji left the crew just to be brought back without consequences, unlike how Zoro warned Usopp after he left and came back. Additionally, I also didn’t like how Sanji just beats up Luffy, without Luffy fighting back.
Something about the marineford arc that I think is insane is the reason behind ace’s public execution was because he was roger’s son and they wanted to make an example out of his death as an end to the pirate era. And when we found out how low the world government went to kill him when his mother was pregnant with him. When there are plenty other criminals at impel down who deserved to be executed. But ace’s crime was just for being born. That was the first hint for me that the world government can be just as cruel as the pirates they arrest, but have the nerve to call it justice, guys like Akainu
@@dhruviktandel3860 oh good point. The lengths the government went just to capture and kill Robin just because she’s from Ohara and can read poneglyphs, that was a clue that they were pretty evil. I guess the reason for ace’s execution makes sense since they went through the trouble to hunt Robin for years, but it still shocked me I guess cuz ace didn’t hold any info or knew any government secrets, he was just killed cuz of who his dad was. Both were cruel and unforgivable, what the government did to them.

Is it just me or does the early arcs get better and better as you go further in the manga/anime. I love pre time skip and early one piece arcs now. At the same time the current arcs have been goated aswell. One piece is PEAK, fans have a great week.
Definitely enhanced by later arcs. Setting up Laboon to be an emotional goal for Brook is just incredible. It's so refreshing coz you didn't made thriller bark so low. I see one piece before (baratie arc, arlong arc, skypeia) but i hook to start one piece when i see thriller bark air on my local tv channel way back on my high school days. This arc is so weird, funny and bizarre. Gecko moria ability is also interesting and one piece artstyle that arc is good for me compare to what i see before that
The fights are gonna be so amazingly graphical upon its return😅I feel like that's the real reason for this break besides letting the manga and anime space out
1. Sabaody [My favorite arc] 2. Enies Lobby [The definition of peak ] 3. Whole Cake [ Sanji is my favorite one piece character and I LOVE what this arc did for him] 4. Marineford [ Do I even need to say anything ?] 5. Dressrosa/ Egghead [I cannot choose alright??] Wano is an honorable mention [Zoro, the animation, the action, Oden etc. It's not perfect at all but I still enjoyed it]
This is my Top 32 arcs of One Piece 1. Marineford arc 2. Enies Lobby arc 3. Egghead arc 4. Wano Country arc 5. Water 7 arc 6. Impel Down arc 7. Sabaody Archipelago arc 8. Alabasta arc 9. Dressrosa arc 10. Whole Cake Island arc 11. Arlong Park arc 12. Baratie arc 13. Drum Island arc 14. Thriller Bark arc 15. Skypeia arc 16. Zou arc 17. Post War arc 18. Post Enies Lobby arc 19. Amazon Lily arc 30. Reverse Mountain arc 31. Return of Sabaody arc 32. Long Ring Long Land arc
I agree with the top 3 Hot take, but I have Dressrosa in my top 5 instead of Wano. Doffy was a much better villain than Kaido was. Despite both pacing of the arcs being pretty bad, Dressrosa in the manga was a better pace and a very enjoyable read.
Overall a solid list. It's difficult to make a list with so many good arc. These are 3 arcs too high & too low. Too High: 1. Marineford- It's a great arc, but so overrated. It's not even in my top 5, but its in my top ten. 2. Saobaody Arc. Solid Arc, but to me it's a middle of the pack arc. 3. Water 7. This arc was good, but not top 5 or top 10 good. Too Low: 1. Whisky Peak: Peak Zoro. Zoro V Luffy. Zoro & Luffy 1 hit KO v Baroque Works. Whats not to like. Middle of the pack arc. 2. Dressrosa: Checks all the boxes for top 5. 3 WCI: best arc in OP.
My top 10 One Piece arcs, 1. Water 7/Enies Lobby (basically the same arc tbf) 2. Marineford 3. Dressrosa 4. Wano Country 5. Arlong Park 6. Thriller Bark 7. Sabody Archipelago 8. Whole Cake Island 9. Baratie 10. Java/Skypiea (again, basically the same arc)
My top 10 favorite arcs: 1. Water 7/Enies Lobby 2. Dressrosa 3. Marineford 4. Whole Cake Island 5. Alabasta 6. Impel Down 7. Sabaody Archipelago 8. Egghead Island 9. Thriller Bark 10. Arlong Park
Saving haki explanation for the end of the first half was definitely wild since mfs was using it for awhile by that point but made sense luffy really aint have time to ask about it
Skypiea is so underrated I swear. It's top 5 in my list with Sabaody, Enies Lobby, Marineford, Egghead, Dressrosa, and Wano Yes I have 7 arcs in my top 5 bite me.
Egghead should be at the very least everyone's top 3 arc. It was a breath of fresh air after massive Wano disappointment. Not just Wano, all post ts arc had issues. Egghead on the other hand was perfect.. Up there with Water7/Ennies Lobby and Marineford as the top 3. Best post timeskip arc by far. We learned the most lore and saw Joyboy's haki. Luffy vs Lucci, Luffy vs Kizaru, A titanic buster call and Kuma's backstory(The best backstory in One Piece undoubtedly), Garp-Kuzan, Koby honesty impact,, Law vs BB, Shanks vs Kid, Cobra death, worldbuilding, plot twists, truth reveal about Gorosei.. Dressrosa, WCI were filled with randoms, now it feels like we're at the peak
The Egghead Arc’s not even done yet, but in my opinion, The Alabasta, Arlong Park, and C9 arcs or whatever they are, are pretty much my favorite arcs as they showcased the perfect character developments for my favorite One Piece Waifus: Nami & Nico Robin!
It's done in the manga and it EASILY ranks in the top 3. It (finally) starts the climax of a 2 decade long series with many lore reveals and lots of surprises that remain unanswered
I started watching it from the beginning, but then I started jumping around. I know a good chunk of the major story beats and the order and context in which they happen (not all). I hope to get back on it eventually. I figure with the six month hiatus, it shouldn't be a problem. Technically I'm in the middle of skypeia, but I really should just start from the beginning. Was Egghead's placement with knowledge of what happens in the manga, because apparently the anime barely has half of it covered so far (that's another thing - It's going to be at least another year before egghead is finished in the anime), and I can see arguements for it being top 3.
@@nompendulomacoba5189 where’s Impel Down cause it feels like it should be either above Water 7, Sabaody Archipelago or Arlong Park and it’s mostly a setup Marineford where Luffy plans to rescue Ace but fails and gathering allies like Jinbe, Crocodile, Ivankov, Buggy, Mr 3 (Galdino) and Mr 1 (Daz Bones) and Mr 2 (Bentham) could’ve joined them but he chooses to stay behind to let Luffy and prisoners escape to reach to Ace’s execution on time
I agree with the List, but Egghead is not done, so I would rank it lower. And rank up Water 7 and Sabaody. Marineford is definitely my fav Arc, had me in suspense the whole time and Enies Lobby is peak One Piece! 🤙🏻
Reducing Vivi to "honorary" strawhat is sacrilege, she's a full blown member and we all know it My top 5 arcs 1) sabaody to sabaody (yes, i know im cheating by combining it all, but screw you i do what i want) 2) egghead 3) water 7/enies lobby 4) dressrosa 5) alabasta
Of course. Marineford would be at #1. Regardless, I still prefer the Water 7/Enies Lobby saga. They were as intense as Nico Robin’s backstory goes, and Aokiji’s introduction is pretty much chilling. No pun intended.
Together, they are the greatest (in the manga) but just good (in the anime). If you separate them, W7 is great but Enies Lobby is bad (because of the pacing).
My Top 10 Favorite One Piece Arcs: 1) Enies Lobby 2) Wano 3) Whole Cake Island 4) Marineford 5) Arlong Park 6) Water 7 7) Alabasta 8) Dressrosa 9) Impel Down 10) Skypiea
I’m not gonna lie I am very surprised fish man island isn’t last on this list. Like I rarely hear anyone say anything positive about that arc. Also doesn’t this just show how good an anime one piece is? Even at its worst, there’s always something worth watching in it. But when it cooks, it MF cooks.
with Foxy arc being as terrible as it is, it avoided last place. still far as POST-Timeskip is concerned it is universally disliked. between the padding and the absolute garbo villain that is Hordy Jones. dunno who asked for Whitefish Supremacy in One Piece, but i wish that they didnt... also let's not forget Catfish Diddy aka Vander Decken.
The only terrible stuff regarding that arc are just Anime only problems such as pacing etc... An arc like Long Ring Lond Land literally has no relevance to the story besides finding out Bellamy and his crew had been using Doflamingo's flag at the start of that arc and his loss caused Doflamingo to show up and then the Aokiji/Kuzan introduction at the end of the arc. I basically personally consider the whole Foxy pirates and the Davy Back fight to be filler because it never happens in the story ever again and the only time I know Foxy makes another anime appearance is in TWO filler arcs one which is 2 arcs after this which is the 2nd filler arc in a row and 2nd is after Thriller Bark.
@@zahidshabir4038 i dont like the Davy Back Fight concept in general tbh, it's not the filler part so much as just the concept is terrible. i also just despise the antagonist, in a way that isnt fun to watch.
Trust me when I say that Long Ring Long Island will be a bigger foreshadow in the future of the Final Saga. People kept saying "It's a filler arc" but one thing we know when it comes to the author is that there's nothing he have not drawn that is not important to the story. My prediction is that Long Ring Long Island might have something to do with Joyboy. An awakening DF can affect it's surroundings just like the ones in Punk Hazard. To see that island being all stretchy and also Tonjit telling Luffy "Long time no see" even though they met for the very first time is kinda sus man. Also the area itself.. due to the Aqua Laguna the sea kept rising. But if you look closely, near the island of Long Ring Long Island. The side area of the island look like a crown.'' So yeah, you can call it a "filler" but I feel like Oda is doing it with an attention. I feel like he wants you think that it's a boring arc, so that no one will even think about it and move to the next island which is the peak Water 7.
My least fav is probably whiskey peak i really hated zoro vs luffy, my favorite quote is luffy saying to miss all Sunday/Robin "you're not the one to decide our next destinaton" My fav arc is marinford and my favorite quote is from doflamingo's Speech: "kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values"
I know I’m in the very small minority when I say this but Enies Lobby was probably 15 for me. I had basically everything spoiled for me and knowing what was happening at the time in the current episodes on whole cake I was underwhelmed even seeing it.
i loved marrienford, but now the egghead arc is finished in the manga and when it gets animated things are gonna change, and i think oda is gonna cook with elbaf arc
Skypea is absolutely a last place contender, and should be skipped by anyone getting into one piece. Impel Down and MarineFord I view as part 1 and part 2, but are easily my favorite arc in once piece.
I love that the worst arcs still have great parts, like afro luffy, zoro telling chopper to man up, and Aokiji. One piece isn't perfect, but it's still the best thing I've ever read.
Enies Lobby and Marineford are interchangeable, but if I had to pick one over the other, I'd say Enies Lobby. Personally, I care more about the Strawhats than Ace.
One Piece is my most favorite anime and manga of all time but after rewatching these crazy story arcs I realized that this world is way too dangerous to try and live in. The fact is that if the super powered pirates don't get me killed the power mad Navy and giant man-eating sea creatures will and the only real chance you have for survival is to eat a disgusting fruit that will basically turn you into a mutant it's nothing but a nightmare ocean.
For anime only watchers theirs a reason why one piece finally took a break. Trust me egghead deserves to be in the top 3. I’m not going to spoil anything but let’s just say it gos hard and changes everything

@@LuciferEditzs1290 i like wano the highs are really high but the lows for me are also really low, it weirdly felt too long but also not long enough for everything, idk wano was a really weird experience for me wich makes it hard to rank
there are so many arcs on one piece i cant choose just all of them so i picked a top 5 and here they are...number 5. Enies lobby, 4. alabasta arc 3. mocktown arc, 2. wano-kuni arc, 1. marineford arc
Whole Cake should be higher! It's easily top 3 at least among the post-timeskip arcs
It's so refreshing coz you didn't made thriller bark so low.
I see one piece before (baratie arc, arlong arc, skypeia) but i hook to start one piece when i see thriller bark air on my local tv channel way back on my high school days. This arc is so weird, funny and bizarre. Gecko moria ability is also interesting and one piece artstyle that arc is good for me compare to what i see before that
Luffy with an Afro is sending me 😂😂 I totally forgot about that 😂😂 bobobo moment 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A year ago, I would have no idea what any of this meant, now I’ve seen every moment and want to experience them for the first time again!
I can't wait for the Netflix The One Piece adaptation by WIT Studio, all these arcs are gonna look amazing
They’ll get to egghead in 2052
The fights are gonna be so amazingly graphical upon its return😅I feel like that's the real reason for this break besides letting the manga and anime space out
Please do Dragon Ball Sagas Ranked next!
1. Sabaody [My favorite arc]
2. Enies Lobby [The definition of peak ]
3. Whole Cake [ Sanji is my favorite one piece character and I LOVE what this arc did for him]
4. Marineford [ Do I even need to say anything ?]
5. Dressrosa/ Egghead [I cannot choose alright??]
Wano is an honorable mention [Zoro, the animation, the action, Oden etc. It's not perfect at all but I still enjoyed it]
@charmainemeyer9619 is it joke when they say enies lobby is good.
Its very basic and generic story overall.

I agree with the top 3
Hot take, but I have Dressrosa in my top 5 instead of Wano.
Doffy was a much better villain than Kaido was. Despite both pacing of the arcs being pretty bad, Dressrosa in the manga was a better pace and a very enjoyable read.
@@DE-4AULT yeah but Alabasta, Sabaody Archipelago, Impel Down, Water 7 and Wano Country are mostly better than Dressrosa
IMO, my top 5 favorites are:
1) Enies Lobby Arc
2) Marineford War Arc
3) Wano Arc
4) Wholecake Island Arc
5) Egghead Arc
The Alabasta arc is so underrated . . .
Few arcs have the non-stop intensity of Alabasta.
Overall a solid list. It's difficult to make a list with so many good arc. These are 3 arcs too high & too low.
Too High:
1. Marineford- It's a great arc, but so overrated. It's not even in my top 5, but its in my top ten.
2. Saobaody Arc. Solid Arc, but to me it's a middle of the pack arc.
3. Water 7. This arc was good, but not top 5 or top 10 good.
Too Low:
1. Whisky Peak: Peak Zoro. Zoro V Luffy. Zoro & Luffy 1 hit KO v Baroque Works. Whats not to like. Middle of the pack arc.
2. Dressrosa: Checks all the boxes for top 5.
3 WCI: best arc in OP.
Before Wano, Dressrosa was my fav, but Wano killed it with the animation and the story, si is number two now.

1)Water 7
2)Enies Lobby
3)Marineford
4)Wano
5)Dressrosa
Yeah, that's better
The Egghead Arc’s not even done yet, but in my opinion, The Alabasta, Arlong Park, and C9 arcs or whatever they are, are pretty much my favorite arcs as they showcased the perfect character developments for my favorite One Piece Waifus: Nami & Nico Robin!
It's already done in the manga, that's why it is so high
@MADBD619 • Yup Egg Head Luffy Meeting The Prince Of Elbaf The Cursed Prince Half Blood Loki Reveal Majestic Oda Sensei Is Cooking My Guys !!!!

Ain't no way return to Sabaody is 27 it's 1 of the best...
If the second half of the Egghead Arc is animated properly, that arc could temporarily become number one.
Ngl, I quit at Punk Hazard. The formula had me at its grasp for too long. Il probably return and speed through it to get caught up one summer.
1. Water 7
2. Enies Lobby

6. Arlong Park
7. Fishman Island
8. Whole Cake
9. Orange Town

07. Egghead
08. Impel Down
09. Whole Cake Island
10. Sabaody Archipelago
11. Punk Hazard
12. Thriller Bark
My Top 5 arcs are:
1. Marineford
2. Egghead (after the break, you'll see why)
3. Wano
4. Ennies Lobby
5. Dressrosa
6. Whole Cake Island
7. Alabasta
8. Arlong Park
9. Sabaody
10. Water 7
@@nompendulomacoba5189 where’s Impel Down cause it feels like it should be either above Water 7, Sabaody Archipelago or Arlong Park and it’s mostly a setup Marineford where Luffy plans to rescue Ace but fails and gathering allies like Jinbe, Crocodile, Ivankov, Buggy, Mr 3 (Galdino) and Mr 1 (Daz Bones) and Mr 2 (Bentham) could’ve joined them but he chooses to stay behind to let Luffy and prisoners escape to reach to Ace’s execution on time
no way arlong park is 11 I might be bias cause it's my favorite but its sures top 7-8 on anyones list isn't it
Whole Cake should be higher.

I agree with the List, but Egghead is not done, so I would rank it lower. And rank up Water 7 and Sabaody.
Marineford is definitely my fav Arc, had me in suspense the whole time and Enies Lobby is peak One Piece! 🤙🏻
Reducing Vivi to "honorary" strawhat is sacrilege, she's a full blown member and we all know it
My top 5 arcs
1) sabaody to sabaody (yes, i know im cheating by combining it all, but screw you i do what i want)
2) egghead
3) water 7/enies lobby
4) dressrosa
5) alabasta
Vivi deserves to be a strawhat but chose not to, calling her one is untruthful
Of course. Marineford would be at #1. Regardless, I still prefer the Water 7/Enies Lobby saga. They were as intense as Nico Robin’s backstory goes, and Aokiji’s introduction is pretty much chilling. No pun intended.
I hate when people separate Water 7 and Enies Lobby. You can’t have one without the other.
because they are different arcs just like impel down and marineford ask Oda why he decided to seperate it 😂
Together, they are the greatest (in the manga) but just good (in the anime).
If you separate them, W7 is great but Enies Lobby is bad (because of the pacing).
My Top 10 Favorite One Piece Arcs:
1) Enies Lobby
2) Wano
3) Whole Cake Island
4) Marineford
5) Arlong Park
6) Water 7
7) Alabasta
8) Dressrosa
9) Impel Down
10) Skypiea
Great videeo. I just wish you indicate the year of the arc release year instead of 1999 for all arc.

5. Dressrosa
6. Water 7
7. Arlong Park
8. Whole Cake
9. Impel Down
10. Wano
Agree with the top 5. But justice for Long Ring Long Land and Foxy 🤣
The side area of the island look like a crown.''
So yeah, you can call it a "filler" but I feel like Oda is doing it with an attention. I feel like he wants you think that it's a boring arc, so that no one will even think about it and move to the next island which is the peak Water 7.
the dave back arc as last is wild
We are finally in Elbaph in the manga
Sky island holds a special place in my heart.
Dressrosa with the best and most charismatic villain in one piece being in 9th place is criminal
My favorite One Piece arcs are Thriller Bark, Fishman Island, Dressrosa, and Egghead Island. ❤️❤️❤️
Thriller Back is a guilty pleasure for me, i love Halloween and spooky things, but i wouldnt put it in Peak territory, but it IS underrated for sure.
What’s your favorite quote from your least and favorite arc?
My least fav is probably whiskey peak i really hated zoro vs luffy, my favorite quote is luffy saying to miss all Sunday/Robin "you're not the one to decide our next destinaton"
My fav arc is marinford and my favorite quote is from doflamingo's Speech: "kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values"
I know I’m in the very small minority when I say this but Enies Lobby was probably 15 for me. I had basically everything spoiled for me and knowing what was happening at the time in the current episodes on whole cake I was underwhelmed even seeing it.

I love that the worst arcs still have great parts, like afro luffy, zoro telling chopper to man up, and Aokiji. One piece isn't perfect, but it's still the best thing I've ever read.
