2:18 The reason for that is that the SL8 itself is a modified G36 which still has the firing selector, but only goes between safe and semi-auto. I think it was done on purpose, as it even does a weird clicking sound different from all the other firing selectors in pf.

the Roly hand grenade is a reference (visually) to monty python: the holy grail, in which the group of main characters have to fight a beast so foul that no man yet has fought with it and lived! so they try to fight the beast, which has nasty, big, pointy teeth. they fail pretty bad at the start, so they decide to back off and call in the holy hand grenade.
The sl8 issue is also on the msg90, both are variants of weapons with multiplefire modess, this issue is probably due to some sloppy copying and pasting sl8 from the g36 and msg90 from the g3
It’s probably not in the game for the same reason bayonets aren’t an available attachment in PF, in that a melee and a gun can’t be one-and-the-same due to its code.

For the PSO, it attaches the way it does because the AKs (specifically the AKN sub-series) use the same optical mounts as the Dragunov. A cool detail if I say so myself. The AN-94 actually shoots at 600 RPM after the 1800 RPM hyperburst on full auto, but that doesn’t make it a not cool detail referring to how the real gun works. It’s also useful if you have good first shot accuracy given how it will decrease TTK by approximately 67 milliseconds, from 300ms to 233 (or from 200 to 133 w/ headshots, hollow point, and 7.62x39mm).
3:40 We could get something like the Stoner 63A Automatic Rifle, which was a Stoner version (the stoner 63 was essentiallly from what i know meant to be a universal rifle in its category) with a top-mounted 30 round mag.
I think the reason the sl8 does that is that it was at first a copy pasted g36 family weapon cuz the models are similar. Of course, the g36 can change fire modes and the forgot to remove the animation
somesteven, I just played a game and a admin randomly joined and changed the map to the backrooms and the mod to gun swap, it was so cool because you could also you admin guns like airpod shoty and railgun and he only joined for about 40 m and no one expected it, just wanted to share because it was the most fun I've had in ages:) ps: this was quite a nice video

If you use ladder to get up from inside of the building, you'll enter the room with AUG, Intervention and M9 laying in exact position as these guns were laying on crane on the game picture during alpha test.
since i have seen no one say anything about this, thought i might do it regarding the "skeleton": around summer of 2019, there were a bunch of tiny triggers scattered around on desert storm, showing the doot meme if you shot one, it made a sound, which was a small snippet of darude - sandstorm if you found and shot all of them back then, the game would actually start playing the full song, and the map would actually have a sandstorm. this was at the same time the crane site easter egg was added, which is very similar to this one, and you would get the crane melee as well. for more info, just search for phantom forces desert storm easter egg and im sure you'll find it. same goes for crane site
the makarov does a sound on its inspect animation u just gotta wait alot for it like 30seconds or a minute (it doesnt do but i remember it doing a sound like a person speaking in russian something or maybe im just getting crazy)
