We leave Phuket behind and we head south, Phang Nga province and then Krabi.

We stayed at that Blue Sotel Smart. it WAS a good value. And you know there is another Blue Sotel Smart in Ao Nang. The view from there at sunset was amazing. Ao Nang and Railay were bumping at Christmas/New Years!

I do wear it, but it’s under my arm
I actually prefer Krabi (Ao Nang) more than Phuket. I went there in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020, and loved it both times. Phuket may have more beaches but I prefer Krabi beaches and i like the quieter and relaxed life in Krabi than the craziness of Phuket
It’s good to see Ploy recovered and walking now 👍. Must be a big relief for you. I was surprised the monthly car rental in Phuket is very reasonable. Hope we can find similar rates in Chiangmai. Thanks for all the info on your channel 🙏.

I was in krabi over 3 weeks, the songkran festival was dead, Ao nang is very, very quiet. Not as many tourists there as the government likes to think, only small handfuls of tourists that I saw. Krabi is beautiful but we’re also going into the rainy season. Beware of overpriced taxi fares, as usual the people still rip the tourists off as much as they can. I just wish they would be thankful of tourists visiting.

Great informative vlog..we make our 1st visit to Thailand in 4weeks (Feb 15th 2023) we staying at Bluesotel Krabi 1st week then to Phuket..The hotel looks great (wish we had paid 1000bht pnight.🤣🤣) More like 7000bht for a swim up room with a package!😩😩..How far is the night market/bars/restaurants from the hotel please? Is it walking distance..Thanks Guy.👍

Prices will be dropping as everyone tries to attract customers. But nothing can stop what's going to happen to the world economy. Home prices dropping, grain shortages world wide, energy shortages,, it's a ripple effect that will hit poor countries the worst.

So I am really curious how you got the hotel for 1000 baht, I have stayed there a few times and the best price I have ever seen is 1500 baht.
I just checked on Agoda (for tonight) and it’s 1.100 baht. High season the prices are higher, I guess they adjust the prices based on the season, holidays and demand. Last year (during covid) I stayed in this hotel for 700 baht

Oh yes! Totally 😅 I am a platinum vip member with Agoda and my girlfriend (which has the basic account) gets cheaper rate than me on her phone. Weird!

Unfortunately Krabi and Ao Nang have been RUINED by the imposition of huge loud 5 times a day mosques . Used to visit regularly in the 90s and 2000s , wont go near the area again !!!!
