Not true. He's explaining how they ended up in the shelter. He gave the family money on multiple occasions. She spent it all. He wasnt gonna keep doing that when he didn't have all the money in the world himself. And he's said that in many interviews, whenever people asks. There was also beef between him and Liza Rios because she made bad business decisions in regards to Pun's image after he died. And she didn't know how to manage the estate. She released the footage of Big Pun physically abusing her. And tried to profit off the DVDs of the footage. After that, Joe decided he did want to help her anymore or want anything to do with her. HE IS NOT RICH FROM BIG PUNS LEGACY. You may be unaware, but Joe has been selling drugs, releasing his own music, and touring way before he even met Pun. And when he does shows, he rarely does maybe 2 Big Pun songs. When he does, it's only to pay homage. And even if he wanted to make money off of Pun's royalties, he couldn't. Simply cause in all actual reality, Pun only really had one album. Yes, there were releases of music after he died. But if you go back and listen to those albums, you will hear old material that had already been released when Pun was alive either on albums or on mixtapes. Becasue before he died, he was sick and couldn't really do much in the studio. That is why there's not a big vault of unreleased Pun music. Cause they released all the music when he died to help Liza get money. Stop making shit up.
