      @@kananzadeh2765 Hey Kanan, in short yes, and people do, but it is a lot of work, particularly with facilitation, AND elements like Prototyping and Testing etc. Many people in our Masterclass group deconstruct / breakup the Design Sprint to use specific exercises from the process to better help them in situations like this. For example, running LDJ workshops: ua-cam.com/video/33hBnZzoFAg/v-deo.html Hope this helps!

      @@nepkire Hey good question, this is a fairly standard version of a map, but you would usually silo one section such as 'Discovery or Learn' and focus on an issue there. You want to focus more on where the HMW's have landed, ideally closer to the left of the Map as that can often resolve future problems further down the line. In this instance, they mostly fell within the discover and learn sections (10:45), they were similar areas. It's important to remember, it doesn't need to be perfect, it's about finding a rough target area for a prototype to develop on.

      Do the steps headings Discover, Learn and Use suit all the maps? Have you come across any sprint that had a different set of headings in the map?

    Based on which actor should I create the prototype? Because sometimes, in a development, especially in an app, there is the administrator, the end user, for example, in a virtual consultation app, there are the providers, etc. So, based on whom are the action steps in a storyboard and prototype designed?"

    this is very generic. how you can apply it for building a certain feature inside a product ? does it make sense to have the discover and learn part ? how you adapt it ?

What keeps me irritaring ist that if in 5 or 10 years ux design disapear i don't know if i will be able to go to college. Im 20 and actually living in cologne.

      Hey, we don't see UX disappearing anytime soon, it may simply become much more ingrained as a standard in many organisations though.
      We can say truthfully that UX is an incredibly in demand career path and there aren't enough (skilled) UX designers yet to meet this demand. It also depends on your budget and time, how long you want to be in college or on a course for etc. Also, which would you enjoy doing? Do you have existing interests / passions in either? That usually helps a lot in deciding!

    What advice would you give a Mechanical Engineer fresher wanting to switch to Product design (Physical Products) ?

    • @AJSmart
      @AJSmart  5 років тому +1

      Have a scout of some resources and courses online and see if it's really something you want to invest your time, energy and potentially money into. See if there's a community engaged with physical product design in your area and go get involved with them. We deal with Digital Products as an agency so can't really advise on the courses or resources available for physical product designers.

    Hi there, just watch a bunch of videos from you guys. So my question is how HMWs different from Sprint Questions then? And also for Expert Interviews and Long Term Goal, during the Expert Interviews, one of the prepared questions is what's the happiest scenario in 2 years? How do these two work together?

      One issue at a time, taken from the map. The map doesn't need to be super detailed however, and we'd advise against cramming it with every conceivable area. Best to do different Sprints / projects for these different layers and work through them methodically!

Can you not feature this as a set of prototype screens within your app and test it with the car dealership customers, recruited though facebook / google ads? Maybe we're misunderstanding, but you say if you're hosting car dealerships in your app would that not already be something that would need a digital prototype to test?
