Mr Perkins is a great addition to this podcast, straight to the point kind of guy!
Thanks for coming on Perk! Always enjoy the Deep Dive live streams and good show.
Perk, being able to spread the ball around is the upgrade on Offense
Omar is so bored on his new show too. Yea it’s stable and he has a family but it usually works out when you go where the passion is.
All Dolphins Podcast, you're on fire with your videos
I think the Dolphins plan was to raise the offensive floor w Wright, the two rookie wrs, Jonnu, and OBJ. I dont think the “if Tyreek misses a game” argument will continue to be a thing. Also, no more Ahmed snaps.
Good show. Congrats on 14k so rapidly
I would have gone with Daryl Gardener at #92 AP
Nothing against John Denney, he was the last hold over from the Bill Parcells era if I recall correctly, but...
I don't think the Zack Thomas numbers would have been the same without Gardener and Tim Bowens
With that aside, good article, and good series.💯
Congrats on 14k, Poup
Perk, you da man!
Keep it coming!!!
Nice point Chris we probably won’t even use tight end that much and that begs the question should coach tweak his play calling a bit. Be a little more balanced and less predictable
McDaniel needs to utilize all of his weapons on offense and not just Tyreek. He must utilize the tight ends more especially with the addition of Jonnu. The o-line needs to do better in the power run game as well as pass protection. They were largely relying on Tua getting it out quickly to his first read. I don’t not recall a single play in which Tua had time to drop back and go through all of his progressions. Look how much time other top quarterbacks have compared to Tua. Lamar could probably have taken a nap against Fangio’s defense last season.
I think that's why Weaver is going with a rotation and depth rather than last year where certain guys played all the snaps
Thanks guys great show c u tomorrow ❤😅
So let me get this straight. Ravens have multiple way of winning, but they only scored 3 more points than Dolphins did. They threw the ball and lost but it's the OC's fault. Now if the it were the Dolphins, you two would say it's on TUA. No one talks about Lamar have 2 wins in Playoff, what in 6 years? But everyone kill Tua for not winning in KC with all time cold weather. But Ravens/Lamar played home with #1D and scored 3 more points 🤷🏾♂️
Lamar has two MVPs … what’s your point? And why are you making this about Tua when I have said time and time again the KC loss wasn’t on him (even though he didn’t play well). I mean, some of you guys just don’t stop with the persecution complex. It’s truly exhausting.
@alldolphinspodcast so now Lamar has 2 Mvps? But Tuas stats don't matter in regular season. I am just saying when it comes to Tua, it's all his fault when Dolphins lose but when they win it's his weapons. I am speaking in general media. And you too are hard on Tua compared to other QB's. I ain't saying QB is perfect, he has lot to work on. But can we just be fair with the assessment.
@@alldolphinspodcastM MVP should have been Josh Allen or Dak or McCaffrey.
TUA is the #1 QB in the nfl against bad to mediocre teams but he is also to 5 bottom against playoff teams and that's a fact.
Solid one today
The offence will have more options as Waddle and Hill shouldn’t be the be all and end all of this thing. This season due to OBJ, Jonnu and hopefully Malik Washington in slot and more Achane we will give defenses more to shut down. It’s simply keep as many uninjured as possible.
I don't think we will see Chubb or Philips until after the bye week
Perkins is more level headed and open minded than Mr. O Kelly.
Not a penny more to Tua until he wins a playoff game...or just a meaningful game....I would even settle for a comeback. He is a fair weather quarterback in every sense of the word.
Phinz Up
Here's a thought...throw to someone other tha Hill and you will open Hill up. Growth...throw to all weapons!
Gretzky
Third safety Marcus Mayes, a major upgrade. Why? The Dolphins will be using Baltimore defensive sets which require a good third safety. Much better than Nik Needham.
Remember when Wayne Huizenga said "AJ Feeley might be the next Dan Marino?"
The doom and gloom podcast. 😂
Okay not finishing this episode got about halfway through I'm done nothing but negativity so nothing they've done none of the players they've got are any good teams just going to lose everything
I stopped after the long winded analysis of what is the counter to Hill for the offense and it is June 🤦🏽♂️. I wanted to hear the roster breakdown but to me it sounds like the offense can’t evolve and new players on defense aren’t better than most of the former players…in June.
You can read the breakdown at si.com/nfl/dolphins
This team is improved overall, downgrade at DL and OG, everywhere else is the same or better.
Bring Omar back. Perk’s negative matches Poup’s and it’s just too much. Fans need balance.
It is called opinions, and everything isn't rosey with the Dolphins...
No thanks…they were like watching a married couple bickering all the time.
@@pdouble9396 no is saying that but everything doesn’t have to gloom and doom the dolphins aren’t in as bad of shape as they make it seem.
No I like this. Omar and poop always argued over non issues . Chemistry wasn't there. Omar is happy now and poop is doing his thing. I don't see any issue.
I disagree Miami is at a talent deficit
