Classic. I still remember when I was a kid and my uncle took me out in a Techno Violet saloon with cream leather interior. Some things you just never forget.
@@bobbybridgeman2629 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I know they are standard , but what I was saying is that the boy racers back in the max power days could buy copies for , novas and fiestas and Saxo’s and they all did. OK 👍🏻
Stick that in a lock up for a year or 2 bud before you sell. These have shot up in the past few years as you probably know. Lovely example that is, looks new inside. What a beauty.
The thing that dates the e36 the most is the steering. Look how much he has to twirl the wheel just to make small movements. Biggest thing I noticed when I owned an e36
This engine is a S50B32 and has already double vanos. The S50B30 has single vanos. The S54B32 engine has completely different cilinderhead and yes also double vanos and also a lot of other changes compared to the S50B32. The S54 is a bit more rev engine than the S50 already is. The S50B32 is a bit more Torque friendly.
All jokes aside what a man Farnhan is! Jheeze, two beautiful motors and he was so down to earth. Finding those saloons are so rare and hard but this one seems to have big spec! Wow just wow what a motor, congratulations Calvin 👏
E36 m3s really have aged well style wise, such a beautiful car. A friend has a Boston green saloon M3 amongst his collection of novas. Who would have thought the values would have rocketed so much, Calvin you have no idea how many English m3s ended their days getting the back end tore out of them at every other junction across Ireland North and South! Then sold on with the classic " just out of England" written in the advert as if English M3 drivers never gave fast cars abuse! That interior is stunning in that car💯
Try Brightwells or Silverstone Auctions, my dad has had good results selling classics at both. I don’t think that’s a facelift as they have smaller repeaters in the front wings and the nose cons and grills bulge out a bit. I love E36s M3s as I grew up with them and when going to raves like Dreamscape and World Dance, all the top drum & bass DJs turned up in them. I’ve got a 3.0 convertible with Vader seats. I prefer the 5 speed box as it’s a bit smoother and supposedly stronger.
The E-36 M3’s were always my favorite M cars. Prob because that’s the car that was around during my High school days from 91-95 when I was starting to drive. I’ve loved them ever since.🔥🔥
Remember when Richard Hammond bought one too on Top Gear and they took it to Germany for a challenge - turned out it was a pile of spanners when TUV inspected it!
Some of that was TV entertainment and probably not as bad as they made it out to be. They wouldn’t have had it hammer round a track after if it was a real death trap.
Was just describing these type M3s to a buddy of mine couple days ago, my favourite BMW, Love the sleeper look and you never see them about. This one is an absolute belter!
The 3.2 evo had a twin vanos unit & the 3.0Ltr had a single vanos. Although that car is indeed an 3.2 evolution model its 96 model & isn't a face-lift model. Look at the flat kidney grills on it they are pre face lift. If u compare that to an 97 to 99 face-lift model you will notice the kidney grills protrude out more ( as opposed to being flat/flush) the face-lift models do look better with the newer style kidney grills but the difference is quite subtle, & to a person who wouldn't know these cars they probably wouldn't even notice the difference. Another thing which differed between the face-lift & non face-lift models on the the 2 door coupes was the early 3.0lrt model had a slightly different spoiler to the later evolution model. The evos spoiler was slightly more high risen ( which looked abit better imo to) The E36 M3/// is actually my favourite model of M3 & within reason my favourite car ever to! I had an estriol blue Vert 1999 low mileage was a great car but I prefer the coupes myself. I also had a 96 cosmos black 328i sport to when I was a young lad about 22 loved that car to. One day I'll hopefully win the lottery & I will be able to buy myself another E36 M3 lol
that saffron leather is nice. stands out. i used to own a e36 cab individual with that leather. I think your car is pre facelift though looking at the front grilles ?
Where did you get the fuel pump from buddy, and what make was it? I can't find a proper new 5 bar pump anywhere for sensible money?? Loads of 3 3.2 bar pumps around the £100 mark, but not the 5 bar evo ones. Cheers
No matter how much you drive a new car with alot more power and and technology but old is gold, old always makes you smile and happy you dont need techy stuff or ridiculous amoud of power and yeh, quilty might now been the best but every cars had its issues and more once it gets older but if a 1996 bmw lasted this much that very good and relible in a way because I dont think a 2020 bmw m3 would last next 10 years.
Fella, that’s one that’s on my wish list !! Love beemers. Had an e36 328i coupe years ago and loved it. Was such a great drive. Now got an e60 535d msport which is staying, awesome car. strange car, reg check it and it says its a 3.2 litre but with the pre facelift 282bhp from the 3 litre, it also has a pre facelift front end too, strange
Nice car ! I see the running in instructions are still on the windscreen same as my one. I bought my 98 E36 M3 18 years ago mine has 34 thousand miles on it currently. 2 door coupe Techno Violet and well specced too. Your car has to be worth quite a bit should br interesting to see what it makes !
I have e46 325i auto sport in black with the m pack . All black interior. I'm after carbon cube dashtrim . Mine is worn on passenger side above glovebox. Help cant find anywhere.
The steering wheel is correct, you notice you have the pre-facelift thin front grill as well, however you have climate control which is a facelift item, I had a 96 328 Sport with the same kit, I reckon yours like mine is a cross over model. I've also owned a 97 P reg M3 evo vert, that had the fatter steering wheel and front grills.

100% hang on to it , rare as hens teeth and also a excellent investment , but obviously the right thing to do would be as you said put it through a classic car auction etc , absolute amazing car BTW I think the 328 had 210bhp standard
