Afi means Grand father in Old Norse.
This song is for my Grandfather, Papo. He passed away few weeks ago.
The lyrics are from the Hákonarmál. It tells about the arrival of King Hákon to the Valhalla, welcomed by Odinn.
My grandfather was a Warrior and a King in his way, he has to be brave and strong his entire life.
Maye the Gods be with you, wherever you need to be right now.
The drawing in the background was made by my grandfather, it represents himself in the Alger bay in Algeria, the Land of his heart.
This is why you can hear a smooth Oriental influence in the main theme of the song.

Cette musique est pour mon Grand-père, Papo. Il est parti il y a quelques semaines.
Les paroles viennent de Hákonarmál. Cela raconte l'arrivée du Roi Hákon au Valhalla, accueilli par Odinn.
Mon Grand-père était un Guerrier et un Roi à sa façon, il a été fort et courageux pendant toute sa vie.
Que les Dieux soient avec Toi, quel que soit l'endroit où tu as besoin d'être en ce moment.
Le dessin que vous voyez en arrière plan est fait par mon grand-père, il s'est dessiné dans la baie de Alger en Algérie, la Terre de son Coeur.
C'est pourquoi vous pouvez entendre des influences Orientales dans le refrain.
