If CO2 is so dangerous then why do US soda machines dump it right into the mix ?
Every US convenience store that serves fountain drinks has a a tank full of CO2 behind it.
So, the Sun couldn't knock out the Power Grid over the weekend. Time to bust out Plan B.
this guy is a wast of time.
The guest belongs on PBS.
The professor is right and wrong, the transmission system will not be installed in time as the sources for power are not centralized enough...wind and solar are unreliable another issue he does not even try to address will not be backed up with reliable power...expect power outages...
Increasing population numbers doesn't help.
AI? Worried about AI? What about the pull from electric cars and no fossil fuels?
Exactly
Bit coin and the mining consumes how much? Now a program will crash the system okay 👌
This guy is completely gaslighting us. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about with all the extra power AI needs. It’s gonna be solved with wind and solar? Right.
He also mentioned batteries as a source of power they only store power and are not economically viable in current form and maybe never will be unless it is with some undiscovered battery tech...this none business professor must be advising DOE on their crazy policy choices...remember him when your power goes out...
That's the dumbest possible thing for a labor job can fix with no problem
Very rapid growth in thermite vehicles. Stop the E-everything until it's stable.
Im not worried about artificial intelligence Im worried about NO INTELLIGENCE
Hmm what powers AI?
My family is getting away from electric. Going old school.. my electric bill is under 50 bucks a month.
Wind, solar and battery 🤣😂🤣😂
Ohhhhh Nooooo the sky is falling.
why the F would we need new coal plants ???
Water is the cheapest way to manufacture electricity , coal is the number 2 cheapest way , number 3 fossil fuel. Oh , and coal used to be a great fuel for the homes , a bit dirty but at least people could be warm in the winter.
Count wind and solar out, those are proving unreliable, what else you got?!
