Hi Helen. Thanks once again for your comments on Puerto Pollensa. Gave it a mis this year and took our 21 year old master of the Universe Grandson to Los Cristianos. Made yet another vid on the resort and another about the Paradice Park Hotel.

What a shame it has become so commercialised. First time I visited was in 1968 and many other years after that. Fresh fish was sold on the small harbour, local restaurants prepared regional, authentic Spanish food and the beaches were uncrowded. It was paradise! However, time moves on and although it still looks lovely it is not the amazing, laid back Spanish place I once knew.
tentgirl17 Hi . Thanks for your comments, i wish i had seen P/Pollensa as you have, but never the less it is still a beautiful resort that despite some of the commercial aspect to which you refer it is still a much more relaxed place than say Magaluf or Las Americas. Regards BJ.

hi Jack Barry. thanks for viewing my vid Puerto pollensa. However, i can not agree with your version of the pronunciation. The locals do not pronounce the" L" sound but instead use the "Y " sound Poy en sa. So please don't ley us start World war Three over this trivial matter. regards B.J.
ll used to be a letter in the Spanish alphabet and is pronounced as a y as says above. This was changed in 2010, but the pronunciation is always a Y sound for a double L.
