In this video, I am going to show you how easy it is to replace the ear pads on your Skullcandy hesh 2 headphones.
The method applies for the skullcandy hesh 1 , hesh 2 & hesh 2 wireless.
You might be frustrated with how uncomfortable the stock cushions are or it is possible that by now your cushions are completely WORN OUT!

Although I bought my replacement pads on Amazon, this was the video I needed to find to figure out how the heck to actually put them on! This was my first time ever replacing headphone pads, and I didn't know that thicker versions and other variations existed. I shall be subscribing and will be sure to hit you guys up next time I need to replace :)

Hey man, I'm really impressed by your product reviews and I want to order a couple of earpads for my Skullcandy Hesh 2 & Hesh 2 Wireless (I have both of them.) With that being said, I mostly use them for gaming or just want to wear them for long periods of time without feeling like I'm pointing a heat gun towards my ears, so I was wondering if the gaming ear pads might fit them. Can you please try fitting them? Because if they fit I'll probably order 2 pairs.

Hey, we cannot fit the gaming earpads on these at all, the gaming pads are oval - these are round. We do not plan on making gel cushions for these at the moment.
Alright; I was skeptical because I had to stretch the pads to get them on, but.....
They're on now, they feel alright, didn't break during installation. Can't say much about their longevity, yet.

My stock ones are trashed now from sweating in workouts and rowing. If I purchase these replacements do they fit the Sweatz caps you have as well?
Anyway you thinking of making some that are removable and washable?
Unfortunately our sweatz do not fit that.
As for a washable pad, we have no plans for that, washing it ruins the foam

the original ear pads started deteriorating in about 2 years is that the average for ear pads to start deteriorating at or has my greasy head accelerated the process of it deteriorating
Seems about right, some people sweat much less and will take around 3-4 years, but 2 years is not out of the ordinary
Wicked Cushions oh okay I was thinking 2 years would be a little too short for them to start deteriorating

I’m wondering why Skullcandy Hesh’s don’t come in Purple anymore. I bought a pair of Wired Black Hesh Over The Ear Headphones that are now flaking like dandruff and I need to replace them. I also recently purchased a pair of Skullcandy Over The Ear Headphones that are like Heather Blue that says Thunder 35 on the side of the headphones. They’re wired as well. The ONLY issue I’m having with them is that whenever I’m listening to the FM Radio they’re loud. But the second I pop in a CD and turn the volume to Max they’re super low and I am hear EVERYTHING in the room like My Family talking or arguing and I can hear the TV. Are there ANY over the ear headphones that are between 85-110 Decibels so they can be super loud whenever I pop in a CD???????

hey i recently bought your wc hesh2 replacement cushions but the side with seam seems to be on the short side rather (the short stretch region) than the long side. is it a possible fake i bought from amazon India has 7 days return period is it genuine or you guys changed the seam position or is it a manufacturing defect. thanks!
