I remember dressing as Laura did in those years for church. Not every day clothes. I'm just 5 years older. But I guess for court, etc it was appropriate, and remember she was part of high society, in spite of the Spencer side. I see local society mags now, here in 2020, where young women are very dressy even in casual clothes. Rarely jeans and never t- shirts, always a blouse, always heels or dressy sandals for casual. Seems nuts to me, but it explains why Laura was so often in a dress, almost dowdy. The 80s, early 90s, padded shoulders, chunky heels and wedges, jackets, flowing skirts, were the style. Since Laura needed to appear motherly and respectable even more reason for her attire, even that tied backed bun she wore during her testimony. It still didn't hide her utter beauty. She shows some age, it has been 40 years! But I'm so glad she hasn't messed up her beautiful face with surgery and botox! Guess it's obvious I'm a fan? Lol... As for Luke, he's always been unique. He's been handsome, sexy, edgy, scraggly, peasant, leather jackets, elegant ( nobody wore a suit or tux better) bohemian, just weird, and everything in between. But his talent matches any big screen star I ever saw. Although it's a real shame producers didn't have sense enough to put him in major big screen roles, I am selfishly glad we have so many years of Luke. Yes, I'm definitely a fan. 😆
I will never forgive the writers for ruining Luke and Justus' friendship. They were such great friends and it all went to hell. That said, I love the look on Luke's face when he realizes that it's Justus on the tape.
As always, Tony Geary knocks my socks off here. This is random, but they used to have built-in drama when people couldn't get a hold of each other and now that everyone has a phone in their pocket, they have to make up excuses why they're off or lost or not on them to create the drama, lol.
Whoh! That was intense waiting for the verdict! Few! Glad it's over but man! How could Justice just stand there and put Laura through all of that knowing what he had done? Jeeze! Can't wait to see Laura's reaction to all of this!
I thought that it was kind of a mistake to let the audience know all along who had killed Damien, but actually it was more exciting to be in on it. I found myself more riveted toward the story and even yelling at the screen !! lol !!/:)
Bear Bear Laura has been in the public eye of Port Charles since she was a young teenager (15 or 16 yrs old) all over the news papers, the press always hounded her when she did not want or need them. Now she has something to say that is positive, so she is happy to talk to them. She had to wait until everyone was ready to leave and go home but Luke was still in the court room. I know this is TV but I'm sure they went straight home after this, I guess I will find out in the next video.
@jlomax Luke (when he is with Laura) never misses a trick... Luke without Laura... seems to be missing a lot these days. Seems like Helena and some partner are setting the guillotine on the Spencer clan!
Just thinking about how today's world reacts after a big trial verdict, and now they interview jurors about how they felt when watching the trial and deliberating post closing arguments. Can you imagine the jurors here? "Well, I thought Laura Spencer was guilty, but she had the face of an angel and I couldn't see her behind bars". "Well, I thought Laura Spencer was innocent, but it certainly looked like she could swing a bat..." LOL!

Hey, I guess Justus can waive his attorney fee now, eh? He certainly owes Luke and Laura that much!

Fantastic last scene with TG - intense!

Wow...Luke never misses a trick...how sad, Luke and Justice were such good friends...

Can't believe that straight after the verdict Laura wants to speak to the reporters - strange! Wouldn't she want to go home to be her family?

@sonyab1974 Yeah, phones don't work or get lost a lot on soaps, so we can still get that "I couldn't reach you" panic.
I hate the way they dressed Laura during this time period. She was still a very young woman and they dressed her so matronly.

Yikes. Luke is ANGRY.
@butterfly7704 Yup! We still can get that panic!! Soapy drama goodness! :)
Super duper acting by all!

@butterfly7704 Nah they can have drama with people who have cell phones. :) The cell phone could not work. :)
What has she done now😨
