Kotoki Yukaru ikr that secret ending in zx advent was such a cliffhanger and we were about to get the 3rd game but crapcom ruined that from happening -.-
I honestly don't think it needs to be continued, lol. I think it's good the way it is. the ONLY continuation I would really want to see is a ZX3. :)(especially due to the secret ending of ZXA)

Grey and Ashe’s stories are both canon, since in the anime trailer of zx 1 both Vent and Aile’s stories overlapped with each other, so it’s pretty obvious that the same thing would happen with Zx advent.

You could argue that both Vent and Aile felt like that, with just different focuses, but while Vent's focus on the past and the conection between MMZ and MMZX, Aile's focus on the present and the future *and* , unlike Vent's story, Giro does confess that he was always with the Guardians, was always the chosen of Model Z and had been taking care of her to keep her safe. There can be arguments both for and against each story being the "most canon", so to speak (I'll take Aile, to be honest, because outside of giving a few details from Zero that old players already knew, Aile's story gets much more development) But... Grey's story definitely more like the true story. Ashe doesn't develop at all, she is just more powerful that in the beggining and that's that. Model A is the one who develops in her story. But Grey changes a lot in his story, and Model A develops just the same as in Ashe story. Also, being "a descendant of Master Albert" doesn't feel as heavy as being "the back up plan of Master Albert, in case something goes wrong" as was Grey. That said, I do like Ashe better than Grey.
When I first heard this on the official Japanese website long ago before this game was released I was blown away from its awesomeness. The good memories I had with this game. Thankfully I still own the DS cartridges for both ZX&ZXA.

@@Sc0rch_Burns Same for Starforce 4. They already had the story, but Starforce 3 had low sales so they stopped working on it too. ZX3 is almost the same. They already had half game made and they cancelled it because of low sales. At least Starforce 3 got an ending that wrapped everything and didn't have loose ends. I felt satisfied with the ending, there wasn't a need for a Starforce 4, but there was a need for ZX3.

They aren't pipes, they're power cables. Grey wasn't a normal reploid, he was created in the "Mysterious Laboratory" like Prometheus and Pandora. He was hooked to the ceiling of his pod by those cables on his neck-brace thing. They came loose when the Hunters came in, and he woke up, an incomplete replication of Albert.
They're cables of sorts, in the cutscene before you get to play, Grey is actually HANGING by these bloody things in a capsule. At least I hope we're thinking of the same thing.
I like both characters honestly, Ashe is pretty entertaining and a breath of fresh air while still having a sense of humanity and wanting to help those in need (expressing a desire to save Prometheus and Pandora, for example), and Grey, having amnesia, had to find out who he really was, which really made his story interesting as well

Even though i like grey i honestly prefer ashe due to her adventurous personally. Grey was more of the typical protagonist(which isn't a bad thing) but whenever i play ashe it feels more like an adventure to me for some reason. Just a personal preference of mine.

Probs cause Greys story is the TRUE story, there are many points of evidence for this, one I think stands out though //Spoilers// is during that convo with Albert before he megamerges, Grey accuses him of thinking he's a god and Albert replies saying he is a god, while with Ashe, she sais he's just blowing things outta proportion and albert replies with the I am a god sentence....yeah, Greys matches up so he has the true story, the cutscenes for him all match up with the script, Ashe's dont

Grey was my most favorite between him and Ashe, it felt like he fit the story better than Ashe.
Well because he's the canon route, with Ashe being the alternate universe.
Aile was the canon universe megaman. So Grey is canon.
