- Terraria's GetFixedBoi seed on legendary difficulty is one of the hardest ones out there, but Calamity decided to come along and make things even more difficult with a variant of it that is more or less a meme more than an actual difficulty. So let's see how well we can handle this tough difficulty option, Legendary Calamity.

I think there should be 2 categories to classify modded difficulty: *Unfair bullshit* and *Not unfair bullshit.*
For example, Fargo's Eternity mode and Infernum are hard but not quite unfair bullshit (since the fights have patterns that you can learn and get better at it), but then you have stuff like Fargo's Masochist Mode or Death Mode GetFixedBoi which are unfair bullshit (you mostly win because of luck and not really because you LEARN the fight) plus it's obvious the devs made this as meme difficulties.

or you have CALAMITY’S masochist mode which was *_just_* bullshit.
And there’s calamity, masochist, and no immunity frames. That isn’t bullshit, that’s just pure torture
Not sure if you know/knew this but calamity has an item called the anti tumor gell (5 demonite bars and bottled water IIRC) that blocks the hive tumor from spawning. Not sure if it works in getfixedboi but if it does that whould have made the corruption much less painfull
I thought getfixedboi reverses the stat progression on weapons. Like, "Wand of Sparking and Wand of Freezing are statted FOR hard mode" type of reverses? Check your damage and DPS numbers as you go, just in case.
It only changes a few things. Wand of sparking and aqua scepter are two I remember but most of what we've gotten our hands on did not fall under the same limitations
What a mess! I am impressed. I have yet to play the Calamity mod, and you have reminded me that I want to do that someday.
me and my friends gave up this challenge when we fought the eye props to you for making it through prehard mode

Well since progression was broken so much, it wasn't too bad. But hardmode has definitely strained our sanity a bit

I’m playing this a extremely early (while I was not even mining up) I got a (I think it’s called) demon crest sword (the demon cal drop sword)

Yeah, I think some people have misunderstood that one way or another. I tried changing it around but nothing seemed to stick 🤷♂

Yeah, it's gonna be a trilogy basically with pre-hardmode, hardmode, and post moon lord. Might just be a while between episodes what with the difficulty of it and trying to get the bois together.
