My friends and I have been bringing percussion and other music to odd places and playing (to the annoyance of local wildlife) for a few decades. This really makes me want fly my drum set overseas, build everything up next to some scenic beauty - and hope other people show up to join me...
Agree did it and is what he is to the music community. I hope you do it yourself one day and record and share it also. Be another example via your own example. Like you I'm inspired by this clip but unlike you I've no drive to go somewhere in nature and do it myself. You do though as expressed above and I encourage that you do. Some might say you copied Agren and his examples. People like me though who care about the music and art more exclusively will enjoy your own contribution of such productions and serve as a further example of the Worth of sharing such seemingly private endeavours. In a world of market place obsession us drummers are lucky to have Agren Morgan to point to as a pure artist without corporate interest entanglements behind his uploads. You too can be another example of that. No scientist felt copy cat to their former peers dead when contributing to those certain initial scientific probings. Hereto we have a documented drumming experiment which since has been left under explored but with your comment above expressing interest I feel compelled to support your wish especially in a landscape of critical backlash of "copy cat". No one is ever copy when they bring themselves to the enterprise. With that is say, be the next and continuing example, otherwise it dies here with Agren and you too
@Hzqi thanks for being alive! It is great to hear someone possessing genuine intelligence, especially in the hate-filled land of UA-cam... Thank you, you've made my day!
@@xavilend It's not strange in the slightest. It's normal to not want someone you truly look up to, to die. This comment summarizes my every thought each time I see Meshuggah live.
@dreamopeth Just be careful what colour you choose. I ordered it in Yellow and it came basically just varnished plywood! I have since striped it of all hardware and repainted it myself. Looks great now. Just thought I'd let you know. Cheers
@ripcharred he's playing 4/4....it just sounds like it'r more than that because he displaces the beat a lot....that can give the appearance of odd times sometimes....he's big on swaying the 4/4 beat so it seems that there is no 1....so a lot of times the beat will start off on the upbeat(and that may make you think he played an odd time signature there)
@axisdrummer24 Fuckkkkkkkkk The structure is like the Whole "Wheel House of a Boat or ferry!!! Funnnnnnny I love it i want one in my garden....Beer , babes, drums and ...........................Hmmmmmmm haha
@Hzqi maybe he ain't underrated by people living in places where the standard of art is just... better. Like, say, Sweden. But in places like Australia (where I'm from), it's silly turds like Travis Barker and Joey Jordison that get all the credit. Which is just dumbfounding and slightly upsetting...
Love love love the drumming in various spaces. It's a shame to see that grafitti. I am saddened by how many beautiful places have been ruined by ignorant jackasses.
the 2 dislikes are, like, "um, what is this? i dont understand anything outside of 4:4 so i'm gonna search for some gaga or kanye" oh well, you cant please all the people, all the time
This is just one of those classic clips that you never get bored of
From the tumbnail it looked like he was playing a washing machine. :D
Oh he does that too
He could in fact make a waching machine sound pretty sweet
It's just delightful to watch him play! Most under rated drummer ever

what a great video 👏🤗✨👍👍👍. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱😎
He were my neighbor for 3 years :)
Morgan is using a GIGPIG kit, handcrafted custom "cube shaped" drumset, I played it in Frankfurt Musikmesse this year - GREAT instrument.
thank you for uploading. I am going to listen a few more times while studying for exam. it relaxes me.
It's a European Drum Machine, no electronics, innovation at its finest.
you never cease to amaze morgan, sounds awesome and the scenery i love
The local wildlife must love that. :D

That's a really cool design for the pedal, having the spring attached to the rest of the box like that.

Please could someone tell me what type of drum kit morgan is using? Thanks
wow! right thats it Im getting one
Check out his main band Kaipa. Beautiful intelligent music.
If you slapped a Pfizer on the end of this, it'd feel like an indie-pharma ad about Ritalin
wow. lucky man!

Oh nooo not the graffiti, now the hunk of concrete in the middle of nowhere is coloured and thus ruined forever
