I'm very grateful to find another obsessive-compulsive about the tiniest details - since I'm new at sublimation, I had noticed one or two spots in my first tumblers that are DEF from those air bubbles that you've shown how to eliminate. Thank you for going the extra mile in this craft, AND for sharing how to have better results!
I am so glad you enjoyed it, thank you 🙂 I make my designs for these 10"x4.8". You'll want to measure the specific cups you have though because each manufacturers vary slightly per batch.
@@donnabumeter3817 No, this technique is only for these wine tumblers. Any straight tumblers regardless of size is the 3 pieces of tape to hold the paper vertical (just like I did at the beginning). Then long tape along tape along the seams. Once it is taped then the vinyl scrapper is used.
On this cup it was 10"x4.8". Each cup can be slightly different dimensions depending on where you purchase so you wil need to be sure to measure the ones you have to be sure of sizing.
I did 370 for 5 min in the air fryer for all metal tumblers. Each air fryer will be different so you'll need to teat yours to see what works best for yours. I have 2 air fryers and 1 is 4 min and the other is 5 min both at 370.
Yes, a convection oven would work. I don't know the temp or time because I don't use an oven. It would be the same as any other tumblers you do, though.
A mug press will not work on this style full wrap because the heating element cannot wrap around the whole cup. In this air fryer it is 5 min at 370 degrees. Each will be different depending on the wattage output so you will have to test yours to see what works best for you.
This specific one is 10"x4.8" but you will need to measure the cup you have for sure. Every cup is lightly different sizes depending on the vendor it is purchased from.

I’ve wondered how you do the wine glasses or any cup that has curve. Thanks for the information.
What size was your paper?? The measurements and what did you set the air fryer at??
What press do you use and what size
How long did you put it in the airfryer for? And what is the degrees you put it on? Also for how long?

hey did you rotate the tumbler or just throw in for 5 mins?
what size image are you using as far as the height?
Can I use a convection oven instead of an air fryer? If so, what would be the temp and for how long? Thanks!!
Yes, a convection oven would work. I don't know the temp or time because I don't use an oven. It would be the same as any other tumblers you do, though.
Adorable
that tape is called kapton tape or even heat tape. comes in various colors too.
Correct, I use the yellow specifically for this style full wrap. Otherwise I use clear heat tape for almost everything else.
@@reginalynndesignhomeeditio8097 yellow seems to be the most common. I picked up some green rolls a few weeks ago.
Don't put it in a mug press? How long in the oven and at what temperature?

Do you use this same technique for the 32 oz tumblers?
This is the only tumbler I do this technique on. The shape of the cups make a big difference on how it works.
What size was those done on
This specific one is 10"x4.8" but you will need to measure the cup you have for sure. Every cup is lightly different sizes depending on the vendor it is purchased from.
Where can i find designs for the wine tumblers?
I have the full wrap wine tumbler designs available in my Etsy shop www.rldgraphics.etsy.com
All I can see is the tape dispenser
