- A new power is rising! The power of industrialization! Anno 1800 is set in the 19th century and allows the player to relive that period of time.
We build a city, keep our workers happy - or do we let them work in our mines working without a minimum wage? The choice is ours!
The first playthrough already gave us a good taste for what is to come. Now with all DLCs of the first 2 season passes active and the campaign, we are in for some major fun!

I like how the fire started near the pub... Imagine if the game had mech anucs like that... Perhaps bonus range for churches if schools in proximity :)
yeah a bit more interconnection for bonusses could make layouting even more fascinating
I have a question unrelated to this video, if its not too much trouble? I'm trying to develop an item called "Saemunder-Edda". However when I type it in, the Scholar's can't find it. It looks like the "a and e" are smashed together as if it were one symbol. I found the item on Anno 1800 wiki, but have no idea how to type that in on my keyboard {English}. Apparently the word is Icelandic. I must be doing something wrong?
some items cannot be researched (this may be why you cannot find it) bcs they are exclusive to something, like expeditions or quests.
if you want to make sure, you can tab out, google the item and then copy-paste the name into the game
@@LeagueofUngentlemanlyWarfare Thank you. But in this case, I feel like an idiot. It finally occurred to me that I can search for "Northern Sagas" and other set items I'm missing at the Research Institute or at the Museum, Zoo, Botanical Gardens. It is so much easier finding the items you need doing it that way. Sorry for bothering you. This is a hard game even on the easiest level and I'm still learning.
@@LeagueofUngentlemanlyWarfare Out of curiosity, what are your favorite set items? On three Islands so far, I've put the "Gods of the Delta" set and it helps get your influence up.
