Just bought this exact TV today for 289 at Walmart. I absolutely love it. I had a 60 inch LG that stopped working and this thing blows that one out of the water. I play PS5 on it and it looks so clean smooth and has depth to it. For the price you can't beat it.
@@charlesleeray5863 they actually have 4k gaming mode that has motion rate 120 which is their version of 120hz refresh rate and it is dope! I'm playing Modern Warefare 2 now and this TV is well worth the money
We've had 4 of these same $279 58" from Walmart throughout the past couple of years. The screen is great for about a year, maybe 2yrs before the Backlighting goes out but for the price? Can't beat it, just throw it away & grab another. Hisense has the loudest & clearest Speakers! They will blow you out! I added a sound bar & it's too much with the TV Speakers & Sound bar on at the same time. All of ours, like the current one I have goes dark & start buzzing on you. It's best to set it up gently & don't move it! My Dad's & my Sister's & Mine have all done the same. They just go dark after a year or 2. However, for $248 now? Can't beat it for a 58" at Walmart
It has some edge backlight bleed, but other than that, it's pretty awesome for 300 bucks at Walmart. Its just my new bedroom TV, and it is WAY more than adequate with a soundbar. I'm still surprised by the image for only 300 bucks.
I don't understand complaints on sound quality? My unit has good sound and no rattling. I also don't live near railroad tracks and haven't felt the need to turn volume over 25 on anything? Sure it's not a home theater surround experience, but to me the sound is great for what it is. Maybe some people got units with crappy speakers or a screw is loose internally???
Yeah i agree my vizio i got back in 2013 has amazing sound but this hisense has even better sound and its crisp especially for music lbs. U almost dont need a system. Mabe a little subwoofer but no soundbar needed for sure. I however do have a receiver with some nice heavy speakers that i had hooked up to my vizio but unfortunately this hisense doesnt have the av out i beleive it is so im ok for now tbh because of how great the stock sound actually is haha🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

At the price it’s a good value in my opinion. 4K , HDR , and solid colors and picture. Gaming looks good but I don’t believe it’s true 120 motion rate . Speakers are good /loud enough but my particular model had a rattle so I have mine connected to a home theater stereo . I like Roku features as well. Not the best out there but such a good value and after a year I’m still enjoying it for football and gaming . Thanks

Everyone sees tv’s different. So opinions vary.. might not be the tv for you. Thanks for watching and your feedback. Only thing I can suggest is check good for cables and connections. Also a 55 to 60 inch tv should be viewed for 6-8 feet away for best picture / performance.
Try adjusting the sharpness to a lower setting I have mine turned down to 20. Turn the backlight setting down to 80ish and the contrast to around the same. Brightness should be around 50. Also the quality of your HDMI cable could be coming into play. Make sure it is a Hdmi 2.0 4k compatible cable. If it's pixelated on live TV then it is an issue of broadcast quality. Hope this helped 🙏 I also sit about 10 feet away from my TV and I can not see pixels at all it's as smooth and clear as can be I am using a PS5 for all my streaming.
I’ve found for the best picture on these you need to set the brightness to “bright” picture mode to “movie” then go to “customize picture and set it like this: Backlight:100 Brightness:50 Contrast:90 Sharpness:0 Color:45 (Tent left alone)
Power source went out during a storm tryd all the trouble shootings still not turning on red power light blinks do you know how to replace the power source or have a video with this model on how to replace it I seen sum videos on UA-cam but they were not this same tv were a sharpe and the power source was not the same design thank you

Bought this tv at Costco one year ago and it seems that there has been a data update. Now I cannot do the add/erase thing when it comes to the "Live TV" ( I use an antenna btw) and it seems the sleep timer is different.....any thoughts?

Do these TV's have an actual display setting? All I can choose are presets. I can't adjust picture settings to only what they allow for example "dark, darker, bright,brighter". These are the only options I have 😫.
Thanks for the question. YES , At first start up you will have to start a Roku account to download all the apps you need/want. After that you log into each app separately . Positive of a account thou if you have another Roku TV or Roku device . Once you sign into your Roku account .. it will automatically download your apps to your new device without having to select them all again. Thanks

Hello . I have seen various details regarding brightness spec’s between 300 to 600 nits . I will say I use mine in the basement and I have never had any issues regarding various content or brightness levels or the need to adjust. So brightness levels are good in my opinion. Thanks .
This tv does not have any Motion Enhancement, Motion Clearness setting you can turn on or off. It has some picture setting like vivid , sport etc. modes but no advance settings . Thanks .

I reviewed Hisense TVs and it shows that they have an issue with internet connectivity continual dropping. They say it keeps dropping connection and you have to keep resetting it and making adjustments to the router. Does anyone have this same issue? I bought an extended warranty for a Vizio TV 58" and this is the one they want to replace it with. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
Hello , thanks for watching and your question. I have never have connectivity issues with my Hisense unit . I have had issues with previous Vizio tv’s I have owned as you describe. Although my Vizio did have good picture quality .. I believe picture and sound are close to equal in all comparisons depending on exact display model . In My opinion.

I bought 2 50in onn tvs during the end of the pandemic were very cheap and were pretty good till one black screened this week so need a cheap replacement for my ps5.this tv is 268 at walmart right now so is it decent for the ps5..want the u8h hisense..also i will get the 35 buk warranty cuz these tvs like tcl tend to go out after 1 to 2 years

For antenna tv … yes, just hook up a antenna to the silver coaxial cable input . Then go to settings (antenna)and have it scan for channels. If you have satellite tv (like direct tv or something) then just use a hdmi cable and then go to the correct hdmi input. Thanks
I have this same exact tv and all I want to know is this a good tv for gaming on the Xbox Series X? I was told by a reviewer on UA-cam that reviewed a Hisense Tv (not this same one) and he basically said that I had got the wrong tv for my Series X, but I'm still hoping that the gaming on this tv will look incredible. Cause not everyone has the money to go out and by a big name brand like LG and Sony tv, sometimes you just have to get what you can afford.
This tv does have a good picture and would be ok with your Xbox. Probably not blow you away. My opinion. But I did review a Samsung 4K with motion rate 120hz I don’t think it’s a true 120 but it looks very nice with my PS5. Not sure if they still sell my model now but I would opt . For Something similar to take take advantage of your Xbox specs ! Plus prices on the 2020 model Samsung’s Tvs At Walmart or Amazon are currently reasonable. I just picked one up today because a 55" 4 series tcl i had for 3 years had the back light stop working last night. Hope this lasts longer. Might try to fix it before putting at the curb. I feel this looks better then my 55 tcl.

I believe it’s edge lit too and not a full array. But it’s still a good tv at a great value. My opinion and my tv is still working well. Thanks.

Exactly if your using a sound bar on a Hisense tv you obviously have a hearing problem

Thanks for watching and your question. Unfortunately This tv is not Bluetooth compatible . Will work with wireless Roku devices/speakers and subwoofers. I Could not get other Bluetooth speakers to connect.
I bought 2 50in onn tvs during the end of the pandemic were very cheap and were pretty good till one black screened this week so need a cheap replacement for my ps5.this tv is 268 at walmart right now so is it decent for the ps5..want the u8h hisense..also i will get the 35 buk warranty cuz these tvs like tcl tend to go out after 1 to 2 years
Thanks for watching and your information. I am on year 2 with my Hisense with many football games watched..so we’ll see . I have bought all kinds of cheaper Walmart tv brands over the years (Vizio,Panasonic, Onn, Seiki).. I’ve had 3-5 year luck & usually they have lasted till I’ve replaced them.

@@DjMartiniMidwest the 58in hisense tv after i set it up looks really good the blacks dont looked washed out and color is very good i hope it stays that way for 2 years at least

For antenna tv … yes, just hook up a antenna to the silver coaxial cable input . Then go to settings (antenna)and have it scan for channels. If you have satellite tv (like direct tv or something) then just use a hdmi cable and then go to the correct hdmi input. Thanks
I have this same exact tv and all I want to know is this a good tv for gaming on the Xbox Series X? I was told by a reviewer on UA-cam that reviewed a Hisense Tv (not this same one) and he basically said that I had got the wrong tv for my Series X, but I'm still hoping that the gaming on this tv will look incredible. Cause not everyone has the money to go out and by a big name brand like LG and Sony tv, sometimes you just have to get what you can afford.
This tv does have a good picture and would be ok with your Xbox. Probably not blow you away. My opinion. But I did review a Samsung 4K with motion rate 120hz I don’t think it’s a true 120 but it looks very nice with my PS5. Not sure if they still sell my model now but I would opt . For Something similar to take take advantage of your Xbox specs ! Plus prices on the 2020 model Samsung’s Tvs At Walmart or Amazon are currently reasonable. Example link Samsung tv

I just picked one up today because a 55" 4 series tcl i had for 3 years had the back light stop working last night. Hope this lasts longer. Might try to fix it before putting at the curb. I feel this looks better then my 55 tcl.

I believe it’s edge lit too and not a full array. But it’s still a good tv at a great value. My opinion and my tv is still working well. Thanks.

Tough Decisions… I believe these TV’s are extremely the same actually Specifications wise. So only difference will be Cosmetic looks, size, and price wise. So maybe one of those will be a factor for you. So far I am still enjoying this Hisense. Thanks for the watching and the question.
