I like the throwback Thursdays idea. Seeing some of the older tutorials discussed would be a great inspiration.
Jen,
what a great incentive to get everyone diving into their stashes and create great projects with the yarn they have! Love all your beautiful projects!!! Wouldn't it be fun if they also used their yarn stash to teach someone else how to crochet!!!
Jennifer is definitely great I watch her shows goodness 4 or 5 times a week. Morning, afternoon and at night. 😊
an adjustable form is amazing. Love that top and how it looks in the different yarns. I want to make that for summer. since I just found you last year, I welcome throwbacks!
Yes revising patterns that you did from the beginning and if you do like different colors like the new Yarns it makes it totally different & would be cool to see those tutorials in the new yarn colors. Love your videos & love listening to you work your magic...🤩🤩🤩
I love this idea!! I have so many yarns and patterns that are just waiting on me to work on. It's hard when the next flashy thing come up. Wear your crochet with pride at your yarn tour, it's an awesome top!!
Love the color of your remake top, beautiful!! Flashback sounds awesome. Yes let’s do this, sounds like fun. Thanks for sharing! ❤️🤗
I loved that top the first time you made it and I still love it. I have several of the Anya hanks. Might have to go back and rewatch the tutorial and make myself one.
I love when UA-camrs share yarns from their stash. Especially when they end up being yarns I have.
You could call the Flash backs... Rewind Wednesdays!
What a relaxing idea, I love this idea. Wanting all the new stuff all the time is a bit stressful, I don't know how many things I have started, and just can't keep up. This is good! Thank you.
Weirdly enough, I already had the knockout crop top almost done and when people started asking for a pattern, I was thinking isn't the same one I'm already working on? I love it! It's so cute!
Love the idea of using stash yarn and not buying all the new stuff as we all have lovely yarn and i feel it is a waste to store yarn and not use it. I make blankets for a local animal rescue and have very little in my yarn stash but I love both knitting and crochet and I love your channel it cheers me up and makes me laugh
I love this idea!
It's amazing to me what a difference using different colorways can make on the same pattern.
I started the bag you made for premier week and I love that stitch!
Good morning Jennifer, You did it again this morning, I giggled so much that I had tears. Thank you. You go girl, you represent us Crocheters and yes we do need to stand for ourselves in knit shops. Both are great crafts and one is not any better than the other. I love your tops you have made. I think too that we ask for tutorials because you pick such great colors that it makes the tops look so different. I really like the one you was saying they don't sell the yarn any more. It is the one which hangs off the shoulder and Mr. Cinnamon likes it. Love the colors so much. 😊🤗
Your top is adorable you are wearing. Love the color.
Hi Jenn, as a newbie i love the idea of showcasing your older projects.
In this economy I love the idea of revisiting patterns and yarns in your stash
Hi Jen! Thank you for the lovely mention 😊 I have so far this year made The Mulberry Street Shawl, The Apron, The Phoenix Shawl, The Boho Chic Bag and The Funshine Bag/Purse and it’s only March! I’ve made lots of other things in between too! 🎉 I am currently deciding what next to do and gosh you make it so hard to choose as I love your designs! Thank you for being so awesome and talented ❤ Love the stash bashing idea - I have fully embraced that this year too ❤
Hi Jen . You can jabber all you want.. love to listen 💜 Throw back Thursdays sounds like fun. Fantastic to get new variations on older content. .. 🎉
I love your videos. Thank you. You got me back into crocheting. I told my friends about your channel.
Good morning, Jen!! You rock and you bring such sunshine into my life! I am saving to invest in some bougie yarn to encourage me!
I am Soooooooo making' this!!!!!💗🌺😇💮🌸🕊🌞🌌
Flashback theme sounds great!❤😊👍
In The Bucket or From The Bucket would be a great new series for the channel Jen. It has a ring to it.
Its so fun when you get this giddy about yarn or patterns! I love the idea of having flashback tutorials. If we didnt have Friday Yarn Porn we could have Flash Back Fridays about once or twice a month or even more often!
Your designs are wonderful and even if I cant make something when you do, I can go back later and make something. Im excited to see you making an item from your handspun yarn or yarn that you dyed yourself!
Thank you, Sweet Jenn!❤❤
❤ love the throw back Thursday taking about your patterns and things it will be fun to see you patterns again. ❤ you Jen.
I am new to your channel as of a few months ago. I love your approachable way about how you chat with us, show us your WIPs, and crochet with us. I am attempting my 1st garment as I have only crocheted items that were easy and not wearable. You gave me the confidence to give it a whirl. I am waiting on a few additional skeins to finish. Have I made mistakes - yes indeed - are they a big deal - well....the "old me" would have frogged it but you gave me the permission to let it go or do a work around and go forward. I thank you for that! I am sure that you have a lot of items that you have made from your own patterns but it is hard to search sometimes if you do not know the exact name of the item that you may have done. Like I said though I am new here so I will find my way on your channel. Thank you for all that you do! Many Blessings! ♥♥♥
Good morning beautiful Jen. Have a wonderful day ❤❤❤
Good morning!
I think something that would be super cool with flash back is what the yarn could be used for. I’m fairly new to yarn stuff only been a couple of years. But people use different yarns for different projects, so for me it would be nice to see what you might use some of those for.
While you were "yammering on" I was using some Caron Blossom cakes that I have started projects and frogged. Cool idea.
I’m making the your top using the painterly yarn love this yarn. I made the other top to. The yarn you picked for the tops that you made for premier week were both soft and beautiful . I used the painterly yarn but I used the neon lights I love using the yarn that you picked they are both beautiful yarn that I would have never used so thank you because I can’t use wool yarn now I have new yarns to use so happy. You got me using the Ommi hooks to love you Jen
I would love to see a throwback Thursday series where you revisit your older patterns. They are all fantastic and deserve more playtime...
Jen! I love the throwback Thursday idea! I really need to go through my yarn stash so I'm all in! I love the idea of using my own yarn that I already have. I did and am still working on premier week using yarn I already have. Am having a great time with that. I love your tutorials and since I am relatively new to your channel, your older tutorials are new to me so I'm having fun with them. So when you see older tutorials of yours come off my hook, don't be surprised. 😊
I’ve been using my stash. I love your patterns there a quick pallet cleanser. That is much appreciated. Hope you’re having a great day.❤
We're on the same wavelength! I am also putting my bougie yarn on top to use. Now, that's not to say I wouldn't jump on something new and exciting 😀
I am so enjoying you! During premier week i did use yarn stash to make the items! (Some of it premier, some not) i tend to wait for sales when buying yarn bc im frugal. I have most of your patterns saved in my personal playlist and i just love the idea of you using stash to feature previous patterns, plus it wont require you to do a whole tutorial. ..you can just show us what you used and reference the tutorial u already made! Looking forward to these!!!!!
Good Morning Jennifer!! I absolutely LOVE it!!
Good morning!
I think this is a great idea to use patterns and yarn from our a stash. I'm going to jump on your band wagon. Thanks for starting this movement
Love this idea. I often can’t afford the newest yarns when they come up and usually by the time I can get some everyone has moved on to the next greatest thing.
You are my cup of tea! Lol thanks for all you do
i like your video, the throw back video is a great idea
Her bag is done and gorgeous
I love this throwback idea, I already have 7 of your tutorials in my make this list, I just struggle at figuring out which yarns can work together, I'm sure the more throwbacks you do that'll get easier.
I also love that you aren't following the other channels, it can get very stale which is why I watch your videos 1st in my subscriptions, you always make me smile.
pS> I've got a wrap WIP on my hook right now in the Colors a Halo it's super fun to work with- can't wait to see how you use that one.
Jennifer, I just love you. Thank you so much for your videos. You always make my day. ❤ Greetings from Germany!🤗
💜💜💜💜
I thought that you did aturteal, especially when I seen the squar neck. I think all the different colors throw people off. Oh Melabo Barbie shirt is beautiful, I was waiting to see you in it. ❤it! Oh I love our Juju, she is so awesome❤ your hand dyed yarn is beautiful.❤ make a baria hat to match the shirt that would be cute to have on, you would be styling 😘❤❤❤❤❤
My stash is in Canada while I go through a lengthly immigration process, so I just buy yarn that sparks joy atm. I also can't work until my visa is approved... so I'm a stay at home dog mom that just crochets and drinks tea all day long 😅
Just like your In The Closet Series, have a Let’s Rediscover Our Stash Series.
Good morning. My little ray of sunshine on this rainy day ♥♥♥
Good morning!
Can’t wait to hear what you make with the colorama halo. I have some in the white to gray ombré.
Love the idea of throwback Thursday. I’m getting tired of the all the yarn hauls. excessive buying can become a financial issue.
I made the knock out crop in premier just yarn and I’m currently making one in ombré for my niece ❤
Cool! I have some yarn I want next to my skin too. Cannot wait to see what you bring out of your shelves
Pretty color on you. I really like that cover up sweater. I want to try it. I ordered from Ice Yarns again. I'm liking the acrylic I got for an afghan but still needed to wash. I just ordered from them again.
I like your idea of going back what you have already done. Using what you have already! I will try to catch you on and follow . I need to go back and see what else you have posted. Love watching you. ❤😊
Thank you for today's video. I sooo enjoyed it. Thanks for being you! Blessings to you and your family.
Jen, Great idea to have a throwback to revisit old ideas and patterns. Even those of us who have seen the videos tend to forget. After seeing your current work in those beautiful bright colors I now want to make your Knockout Crop top in some great bold colors. Thanks for the video. Hope you have a great day!!!!
I went bonkers with the Hobby Lobby hand dyed yarns last year during their sale. They've been sitting on my shelf since I brought them home. Thank you for inspiring me to get off my bum and use them. Throw back sounds perfect.
I'm finishing up your Phoenix shawl as I watch.
Wooooohooooo, STASH-BUSTERS…..brilliant
Your our cup of tea 🍵
Thank you
I know what you mean about the crochet patterns. I learned to read them from my mother's pattern book from 1920.
I love the aqua top you are wearing. I am a plus size lady too.
I like the idea of throw back. I have so much beautiful yarn and every time they introduce something new I get FOMO.
What a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing so much. You are spot on.
You crack me up 😂
Can you make the chair do that again?
It has a mind of its own
Love the throwback idea! Yes I 100% agree with you!! I am telling ya we are two peas from the same pod lol. No you don't talk too much, for me anyway, If I need quiet I just hit pause so I can concentrate. I like tutorials, but I LOVE that you talk with us!! I can't keep up with all the things I want to make and I am constantly behind in and on what everyone is making at the moment, which I am fine with, but with a channel that is mostly tutorials I don't tend to watch as much cause I watch tutorials when I am ready to make said item it keeps my brain less overloaded or overwhelmed. (MS brain is easy to do that with). I feel like I am sitting and chatting with a friend when I watch your channel!!! My local friends don't knit or crochet so they don't share my enthusiasm for yarn and such. Yes Debbie is a sweetheart, I watch her too! Have a great evening Jen!
Oh my stars! That Mexican style shirt sounds amazing!! I would love to know what book that's from.
I love vintage crochet books.
Buckets and buckets of hobby lobby clearance yarn that I haven't used? I feel seen. Or called out. Lol
My goal for this year is to finish as many UFOs as possible.
Good morning Jen ❤
Good morning!
I'm married Mexican also would love to do Mexican granny square top
Use the pinks you dyed together in the crop top.
Your bras are so pretty.
Thank you
Your Tutorials are great….ive learned a lot from you…keep on truckin❤
First things fun
You are describing me. I NEEED TO BE TOLD what to do.
I"m using my stash to make blankets for the cancer clinic my husband has to frequent once a month...the people in the chemo and radiation wards can use them
We know how hot summers can be here in VA, so I need to make these tops less see through so I can wear them alone, know what I mean? I can’t do layers cause I need airflow😂. Ideas?
Unfortunately new shiny things are an issue with me. Lol I'll admit it.
If new people are asking you for tutorials you already made maybe you could label your videos to show the name of the new patterns that are in them? Maybe have a separate section of all tutorials. That would even help us old people that dont see to well from using black yarn. 🤣
💜🩵💙🩵💜🩵💙🩵💜
I agree you are the best at making wearables easy to customize, like Sam. I almost always have one of your tutorials on the hook. The anya top is gorgeous. The way the colors are playing out. Absolutely stunning 😍
Yes! Crocheting needs to be acknowledged!! ❤❤❤ I also knit, however, I make hats for homeless and Chemo patients. Crochet is much quicker. Thank you Jenn ❤
I have been a knitter for 40 years. I taught myself using a library book, chopsticks and kitchen string. Summer, 1984-I was waiting for people to phone me about resumes I had mailed out. I was bored. We didn’t have an answering machine! So, Vogue Knitting sweater full of cables for my first project. I learned crochet in 1968…I was 6. I hated it because my mom picked out terrible colors of K-Mart yarn. I barely finished the scarf! I relearned crochet a couple years ago using UA-cam tutorials. Now, crochet is my favorite. 🎉 I love being able to do both well, and I mix them up on garments. I love being able to personalize my projects. Crochet is GREAT! Knitting is GREAT!❤❤
I do the same thing. I just looked in a drawer and found yarn I totally forgot I had. Time to make a new top!
I made that knock out crop top in bamboo. Love it, wear it all the time.
I have some bamboo I got from Herschners I'm gonna use!!!
So far I have made two of your tops. I can’t remember their names but the first one I made had the triangle front hem. Love them both and plan on making one with some bamboo I bought on sale. Thank you for giving me the confidence to attempt wearables for myself. I’m a big (old) girl too and had it in my head I should only make stuff for my granddaughters but not any more!
I made the knock out crop top using shawl in a ball that I had stashed away! I just might make another out of something else. I'm gonna go shop my stash
I made a deal with myself that I want to work my stash and at the end of the year I will buy some pretty hand dyed yarn(never bought any).
Good Morning Jen🤗 Love seeing what you’re making. You do such awesome wearables. You are an awesome “cup of tea” you are very easy to follow on your tutorials. Have a great day 🥰
Good morning!
You yamma away jen I love watching you get excited when you have a great idea xx
Totally love it in that color way!
Good Morning! How funny is this, I actually started making this shirt last night ( currently on the row after the neck line) and I can’t wait to finish it!
Awww…. You are the sweetest!!!❤️❤️❤️
I watch all but rarely comment cuz you’re usually on the big screen in my house 🤣
Jennifer, why are you worried about the icky people who upset you! They have a problem with their relationships. They like to cause trouble.
Jen!!! Here me on this!!!! You have thousands of followers!!! We love you! Really, we do!!! So don’t let those freaks get to you!!! I look forward to your shows almost everyday!!!! It would be every day, but I’ve been cleaning my messy craft room for a week!
Thank you!
I'm glad you put the link in your notes area. I want to make that but can't until I get the benefit blanket I'm doing finished. Those tops are super cute.
Happy Thursday Jennifer Cinnamon Stitches 👋 ☀ 😊
Love it!!! Sounds great!!! Let's flashback!!!😊
Its totally 90's style top LOVE the 90's! Your Malibu top
I have an old crochet book called "instant crochet"..it was my grandmothers. Copywrite 1971. So funny to see how things have changed 😂
Hi Jennifer, I love the idea of throwback Thursday! 🥰 I know that there have been times when I saw something and wanted to make it then hot so busy I forgot about it. I have the yarn and just can't remember what I bought it for🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤪
Wishing you a beautiful blessed day/night 🙏🏻😊💖
You're so right. We sometimes literally act like kids that want more more more toys but we aren't playing with the toys we already have.
Love the throw back idea! I too have told myself that this year I am going to start using my yarns that I have and stop focusing on the new new new! I plan to not only crochet with the yarns but also going to pull out my looms and loom knit again. Your tops are gorgeous! I am going to have to check out the crop top pattern.
