My mother took me to see this movie when I was a kid and it became one of my favorite movies of all time ! explaining how we are all different in many ways but yet the same in many others and respect understanding and love for one another is the main message !
Love Rocky's teacher. Such a classy and elegant look about her!
I remember I went to block buster to rent THE MASK, with Jim Carrey, and rented this accidentally.
Way better flick than Jim Carey's Mask. That's for sure. So that was a win for you.
OOF
Haven't seen this movie in a while, but Rocky's biker friend/family member is awesome when he just walks up to that group of kids.
dozer is awesome :) loved when he told rocky he was proud of him after he graduated
wheelz23 That part reduced me to tears.
Why's that? Please enlighten me with how it is as you say, womanly homosexual? Please, inform me. It was a good movie back in the oldschool. What's the problem?
He is a millennial jackass. This is what they do for fun.
I knew a kid like Rocky. Any bullies who called him "Pillow Face" got surrounded by peers who protected him. Just like the biker did. 👍
“That's right, Jerry! He--he's from a reality where everyone is Eric Stoltz Mask people! He's Eric Stoltz Mask Morty!”
- Doofus Rick
The look the teacher had on her face after she smiled at Rocky said, "yeah he's gonna have it rough. "
I absolutely love how the teacher, in her own way, welcomes Rocky into the classroom! Such a great way to show that even though we are all different, we are all the same!!!!!
I know lots of people who have never encountered a problem in their lives.
I love this guy’s personality SO much. Very charismatic and witty.
by watching this video I’m getting a strong urge to watch this movie
Goes to show you. Personality prevails over appearance. NEVER judge a book by it's cover. I was taught that by this movie.
How did he prevail? He sat alone....
But the Guy in the Red & the Girl defended him & are accepting him.
He prevailed because he didn't give a shit what other people thought of him
I call bullshit that's not how the world works
Lol at all the people that actually believe in this....
Y’all realize this movie is about a true story. The boy had a very rare bone disorder
omnimatt lionitis
^ he means "DoinUrMumitis"
@@cavemancult1999 😂😂
The movie made him look worse than in real life imo, but it's a good movie.
@@cavemancult1999 STOPPP 😭🤚
I have never seen this movie but I love how confident he is
1:45 this scene always stuck with me. How he cut the tension and the students chuckled. He lowkey called them out and let them know he wasn’t phased via humor and they recognized that.
It's so sad he eats lunch alone.
I eat lunch alone too its hard, ik
I always ate lunch alone. Why don't you feel sorry for me? 😔
Riven Dale that was me in middle school.
Well when you get a job ofc most will lol?
Not really.
2:21 why can't we get that much food in our school lunches?
same. we had 6 different lunch lines in my high school. but I only got pizza but I liked cause it was from Papa John's. cause it was cheese crust
ContentDeleted1 he got 2 Burgers and 2 milks!! Lucky!!!🍔🍔🍶🍶
Heh I bring lunch to school
Jacqueline Wade You didn't get Papa John's! No way!
In Sweden we can eat as much as we want in the schools (well almost), aren't you americans allowed to take several portions?!!
I love how he wins them over with his personality :)

Zeck Phillips

Rocky is a badass!

That biker badass dude always got his back. That's real love & protection.

WELCOME TO THE CLASS
WANNA HANG LATER BRO
*just to make it fair*
There were kids who were made fun of at my school for various different reasons and I regret not defending them. At the time I was happy to be one of the chorus and just glad it wasn't me on the receiving end. Decades later I am ashamed of myself.
I would have totally been Rocky Dennis's friend :(
Jorah Mormont till the end. Ida been his best friend.- David De Los Santos
Jorah Mormont no u wouldn't
u wouldn't
Me too never know who is gonna crack and go postal on the school. Columbine taught me that. The only reason that one kid lived.
i wouldn't be his friend but i will talk to him and be nice to him
He has to be really brave for him to walk into school knowing he would be made fun of that shows he doesn’t care
Yeah because he had that big buff dude with him
Fantastic movie. Great job. And Cher played perfectly.
Everyone wears a mask. He just doesn't hide who he is.
Profound
that last part omg he is so cool not letting them get to him
A friend remembers seeing him at the Puente Hills mall (same mall where the Back to the Future parking lot scene where Marty goes back to 1955 was shot) ...this was sometime in the 1970s. RIP Rocky Dennis
This is a great movie, one of my favorites as a kid.
Saw this film as a young boy and it stuck with me, thenrelationship with his mother stuck with me the most, lovely movie 🙂👌
Easier said than done. People on here saying they would've become friends or stick up for Rocky. I call bullshit.
Nah i would its just u if u dont wanna be his friend good for u no need think everyone is bullshit like u. Rocky dennis may u rest in peace
One of my favorite movies. Sam, Cher and Eric were made for this.
As a kid, this was the movie that turned around my stereotype of Bikers. To this day, just about every biker I’ve met or know are the coolest and most loving people
2:38: I love how this guy can just laugh it off rather than let it get to him. He's a cool dude. I like him.
Dk how this showed up in my recommended but alright.
Yea this one is top 3 the most random lol
Same!
Doofus Rick was here
Scottie Pippen ok Scottie pippen
I love how he started pushing his hair back when he saw the girl ❤️
The way he said ‘don’t need to’ when the lady asked if he will forget his combination...that’s my life goals 😂 can’t remember what I ate for lunch
I was born in 85 I remember watching it as a kid such a good movie had no idea it was a true story tho
I like the way he uses humor to deal with the bullying. It took me a long time to accept my appearence, and joking about it with other made the bullying stop eventually. I wish I had been as confident as Rocky, somedays I didn't even wanna go to school.
